No big deal! i went to the front and ordered, and was then provided with a delicious salmon benedict, latte, sweetbread and delicious fresh-squeezed orange juice. All in all, the food was fabulous, but the service and feeling as I was being tolerated, not welcomed served soured my trip to this cafe. Reason why I rated this place 4 star is because they do not have an a/c unit only ceiling fans :( so it was really hot at around 9 am other than that this is a must come. My Spanish is not too great, although there was always a cafe employee who spoke English if I needed to fall back on that. To find the cafe, enter the park gate at the corner of Calle 1 Sur and 60 Avenida Sur. Walk about 50 feet on the path to the left and you will see a sign that says Cafeteria. I went three times: for breakfast, lunch and a snack. If I was staying longer in the area I definitely would have gone back again. I loved the fresh tropical fruit salad bowl, (ensalada frutas) served with the option of honey or yogurt, and it was only 50 pesos. Their ice-cold fruit smoothies were only 25 pesos! And their agua del dia was fun, a new combination to try every day for about 15 pesos. For instance, one day it was watermelon and lime, another day hibiscus. The kitchen is open 9 am to 4 pm, except Mondays when they are closed.

I'm giving a 4 star only because we had an all inclusive drink package, and I couldn't get a Red Bull. They said I could have a Red Bull and vodka but not a Red Bull. They said they only served alcohol.......i told them I didn't want to drink and he said no and laughed. I later went back and folded. Asked for a red bull and vodka. He then told me they don't have energy drinks. I then told him "fine. Just a water please." As I'm walking. Away I take a swig of water......ITS WATER AND VODKA!!!! . I 100% recommend this place.
