I got a 90 min massage from Iris after 20 hours of travel and it was AMAZING. I travel a ton and get so many massages around the world so it's rare I'm impressed, but I was! She was very good and knew exactly what she was doing. She got out so many of my knots and really worked to loosen up my body! I like a super deep massage so if you're really looking for some deep work and real healing, Iris is for you! The place is a bit tricky to find but they give you great directions if you call ahead! This is the best experience for our trip (Also the best massage in our life)! My husband and I got a 90 mins couple massage from Iris and Jackie. The way to get to the spa was a bit sketchy, but don't let it fool you. We've gotten several massages from all over the world, and Iris' and Jackie's techniques are the best. I think they use a variety of techniques(e.g., Thai, Chinese, lomi lomi, deep tissue) for our concerns. If we live in honolulu, this would be our go-to spa. Sad to give just 5 stars. The door to the building is between the LV store and the DFS store. It was clean and Ilis did a great full body massage. My boyfriend and I came here to do a low key couples massage for his birthday and we were more focused on a quality massage versus rose petals that might've been reused for several couples/ a swan towel. No shade intended. My masseuse was so gentle in her touch yet firm with pressure. As a smaller 5'2 girl, I thought getting a thai foot massage (where they walk on your back) would be too much for me, but using her upper body strength to support herself, my masseuse was able to crack and get all the knots out of my lower back through her feet, hands, all the stretches, etc,. It was so good! We opted for the 120 minutes and it was definitely worth it. I've been here once before on my own as a gift from my bf after working lots of long hours and having a totally out-of-order body and loved it! There is a parking lot in the back of the building - with two dedicated spots for Kamaaina Massage. The place itself isn't fancy, but it's clean. You walk in, receptionist table to the right of the door, and some chairs for you to sit and wait. We got settled in to a treatment room and two petite women handled our massages. Petite, but STRONG. And that's really what I needed. My massage therapist asked for feedback on pressure, and adjusted as needed. I'm pretty sure I dozed off during the session. My wife and I get a lot of massages so we really don't like striking out on a new place. We ended a long day at the mall and needed a massage. Searched and found ton of options around us. This place had great reviews so we gave it a shot. It was around 7 pm on a Saturday night and my wife and I both got in. I got Iris and my wife got Gordon. We both walked out saying how great they did. My girl barely wasted any hand movements. I like firm pressure but get annoyed when they don't know the difference between bone and muscle. Everything was done with intention. The stretching was needed, the walking on back and legs were perfect. No pinching but just the right amount of discomfort as my muscles needed it.
