Okay, enough time has passed and I gave this place another try. We ordered take out from the lunch menu instead of sitting in. We had about a 10 minute wait and the food was ready. I ordered 2 lunch hibachi specials, one with fried rice and one with steamed rice. Both came with broccoli, zucchini, carrots and onions. The ambiance is was so nice. Well lit restaurant and the service was great was we asked them for a server which is the reason for the 4 stat. The food was fresh and very flavorful. OHHHHHHH MY GOODNESS!!! This place was amazing !!!! The Philly eggroll was everything, the strawberry fruit tea was amazing. The chicken wings were perfectly cooked not greasy at all. Stopped for an overnight right off of 75 in Stonebridge, GA. For dinner we decided on Kamado Grill which turned out to be a great choice. Great decor, wonderful service and tasty food. I wasn't feeling well and wanted something soothing for my throat, so when we passed KAMAD Grilled Ramen & Bar, my niece suggested we stop since she loves ramen. I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was great. The decor is beautiful, the music is good, and the atmosphere feels fun yet relaxing. Our hostess, Jenae, was AMAZING--super friendly, patient, and very helpful in explaining the menu while we decided what to get. My niece ordered the shrimp tempura and chicken hibachi, and I got the Seafood Ramen (#5), which comes with crab legs and shrimp. I thought about adding chicken for $2.99, but since it was my first time, I wanted to try it just the way it came--and it did NOT disappoint. We only waited about 10 minutes for our food, and everything came out hot and fresh. I also got a mango tea with strawberry bubbles. I tried it before we left because I couldn't wait--so good! You can swap the jelly pearls if you don't like them, which I appreciated. When we got home and unboxed everything, it was still piping hot. The shrimp tempura was delicious, my niece loved her hibachi chicken, and my Seafood Ramen was incredible. There wasn't a drop left in the bowl. It was filling, flavorful, and honestly perfect for how I was feeling. Jenae also mentioned they have karaoke nights, so this seems like a great spot to grab food and have a fun night out. We pass this plaza often so anticipated this place opening for a while and finally stopped in this week. Me and hubby skipped over there for lunch while the little people were in school. It's really nicely designed on the inside. I could see this being a fun local spot to meet up with friends at night. The service was great, the food came swiftly enough, and the prices were low. We mainly ate from the appetizer menu and the food was just OK. The shrimp dumplings were just OK. They didn't have enough seasoning inside, and the soy sauce situation that came with. It was kind of sweet. The wings were overcooked, like fried too hard and didn't have seasoning other than the sauce that was on top. The sauces on the wings were fine though. The fries were fine, but kind of lukewarm and not salted well enough. The side of hibachi chicken was actually really tasty and well-made. This place is amazing. The ambience and vibe is definitely on point. From the huge cherry blossom tree to the wall decor and art everything is on point. Then we get to the food which is beyond exceptional! Me and my friends started with some great drinks and appetizer(wings) then moved on to our entrees. Had one of the best salads I ever had! Everyday is great day for Ramen! Soo I took my mom and cousins to try this new Ramen spot in Stockbridge, Ga called Kamado Grill & Ramen Bar. They are new to the area and i had been wanting to try them so today was the perfect day. Parking: there is plenty of parking in the plaza they are located in so that shouldn't be a problem finding a space. The decor inside is so aestetically pleasing and they have this giant cherry blossom tree inside that's so pretty to look at. As far as the food? Everyone at my table loved everything we got. For appetizers we got Fried Calamari, Bang Bang Shrimp, and Deep Fried Gyoza. They were all amazing I loved the Calamari its was fried great and they were medium/large sized rings. It was paired with a sweet chilli sauce that made it taste soo good. The Bang Bang shrimp and the Gyoza were also really good i don't have any complaints. The appetizers came out fairly quickly as well. Our Server Jason was such a sweetheart and was knowledgeable to answer any questions we had and was ready get us anything we needed. If your in the area ask for Jason he will get you right Our Entrees were all ramen dishes and we all enjoyed each of our Ramen. My mom had the chicken Ramen which she loved. I had the seafood ramen which was a no brained for me as soon as I saw a cluster crablegs came with it I was game. I love seafood and this ramen was soo tasty. They have spices at the table so you can add to your ramen to get your level of spicy you want. My cousin enjoyed her Tonkotsu Ramen she gave it a huge thumbs up and would order it again. The boba teas were also really good. They do have a hibachi menu but we were full from the ramen so we will have to come back to try the hibachi. I didn't get to try any cocktails as they are still awaiting for their liquor license being they just opened not too long ago. I will definitely be back to try the hibachi and cocktails. The bathrooms were very clean which is huge thing for me so shout out to the staff for having such a beautiful presentation. I will make this one of my regular spots seeing that Henry County doesn't have a lot of Ramen Bars around this spot is a place everyone should check out! read more

The sizes are sharable so if you get a ramen bowl and an hibachi plate you can easily feed 3 people in my opinion. Service: spot on! The food here was great, I gave them a five because they'll deserve it although they had a lot of hiccups on opening day. The octopus balls are good but more of an acquired taste. The miso soup was bland and not really good. The service for us was good but slow due to the kitchen back up of orders. The wings were just right, everything else was great also. Both Henry and it's neighboring county Clayton are a good restaurant desert. Both counties are filled with fast food places....wing spots, burger spots, Chinese restaurants, nail salons and Mexican restaurants. And in order to eat someplace that is a little more upscale you have to drive to Atlanta.... having to fight traffic just to drive to Atlanta to eat at a good restaurant is tiring. Now keep in mind, Kamado is not an upscale restaurant but compared to the types of restaurants that exist in Stockbridge it is. I'm hoping that with the opening of Kamado that things in this area are beginning to change, maybe now people will begin to put better quality restaurants in Stockbridge. I've been eyeing Kamado for a while now as my next go-to stop when I am in the mood for hibachi. Finally made it happen this week and I am so glad I did. My best friend asked me to choose a spot for my birthday lunch so we ended up here. I can't lie, I was skeptical as I sat in the parking lot because the outside is giving the likes of another Chinese spot in a shopping strip. As soon as we opened the door; that thought immediately changed. The decor, especially the massive cherry blossom tree in the center, is just stunning. They really did a great job from every wall and even the tables had the restaurant name emblazoned on them. We were promptly greeted and walked to our table and almost immediately, our server (didn't catch his name, but young Caucasian male with catchy hair) came over. He was super personable the entire time. Super attentive, as well. He recommended a few dining options and we both went with the lunch shrimp hibachi. They come with salad and miso soup. I also ordered the Amazing Lemonade (amazing it is!!!!). Super refreshing with a hint of cucumber. Wish I could have bottled up some to go. We did order spring rolls as appetizers. My least fave of everything. Unsure if they were overly breaded or undercooked. Either way, next time I will request extra crispy on them. The highlight was our entrees. A really nice portion for lunch and everything was seasoned to perfection from the shrimp to the mixed veggies and fried rice. They have such a diverse menu so I look forward to coming back soon and trying the ramen and talk soba noodles. What a great birthday lunch! Job well done, Kamado! I Tried Kamado for the first time for my daughter's birthday and I must say it was a 10/10. They were able to accommodate our party of 10 and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had 4 different types of ramen and they were all good. My favorite was my chicken curry ramen. My son had the kid's wings w/ fries which was a good portion. This is a new Japanese ramen restaurant that opened recently in Stockbridge. The food was delicious! I had the beef Ramen, chicken bum, miso soup and spring rolls. Everything was cooked and seasoned well, there were spices and a very flavorful chili oil on the table to add as you wish. The service was exceptional and the general manager was as sweet as can be.
