I went through the prices of the rugs, I got to the $120 pile of rugs and chose a color that matched best with my living room. I said "yes, this will be perfect". The worker that was helping me then walks away back to the front desk. I thought he was doing something on his computer for me to obtain the rug.. I waited a couple of minutes then went to the desk and asked "Is the rug available can I have that rug, do you have to weigh it or something?" The worker laughed "what are you talking about, why would we have to weigh it". Well it was awkward that it seemed he didn't want to finish the transaction with me, I didn't feel welcomed at all. I told the worker that I will pay for the rug and go.. He stated that he would have his associates pack up the rug. Why would I want to support a business that doesn't even feel like they want my business???? I know right?! I had my family in there and they seen cold stares and people mugging them.. I gathered my family, paid for the rug $129.30 after debit card tax. I was told to bring my car to the front so the rug can be put into my trunk.. I waited for nearly 15 minutes went back inside as my family was waiting in the car and I just saw the associates standing around. I was about to pick up the rug myself and put it in my own car then the associates in the store proceeded to put the rug into my car... Horrible experience and I will never return, I am a local and didn't feel welcomed at all.. I'm sure that means nothing to them but anyways Beautiful art made in this building though but I'll take my money elsewhere.

We had to contact West Elm to actually sort out what was going on and in the end they act like they are doing you a favor by figuring out how they screwed things up. If you do get anything delivered, I would definitely call once you get a delivery window and bug them to make sure that nothing funny is going on. This was for a $5000 purchase. One thing that does work is the system for taking your payment, getting said items, not so much.

Tim arrived precisely on time and my wife and I took an immediate liking to his highly personable nature. Tim conducted a comprehensive examination of the carpet and concurred that re-stretching was in order. Additionally, he set in motion the process for two pieces of relatively heavy/bulky furniture (a large sofa and a large desk) to be removed from and returned to the room once the procedure was complete (for a very reasonable fee). This place is so cute-I haven't been to a ton of nurseries as I've generally picked up my cactus plants at random spots like a midtown market or a Trader Joe's or as gifts from people but I will say this was one of the cuter nurseries I've been to. When we arrived I walked around a bit to check out what they had to offer-what was in season and wondering where the cactus plants were. I liked this little sign they had in the middle of their nursery which advised everyone what was in season and what should be planted at this time of year-for a newbie green thumb person like myself-information like that is very helpful. After walking around a bit I decided on the cutest little cactus to add to my collection at home and it cost me $7.99,so cheap and my daughter decided to get a snow peas plant($7.49). By the very next morning, he had already confirmed the match, sourced it, and had everything ready for pickup that same morning. The turnaround time and customer service were honestly incredible. They provided our personal information to the installer we found. The Floor Store salesman is either petty or is ignorant of law.

Unfortunately there was a miscommunication Between scheduler who confirmed appointment with my mom, the shipping company and storage..The product did not come in when it was meant to and my mom waited most of the day for people that did not show up but thankfully the owner and sales person were able to rectify the situation and we were able to get the carpet installed the same week it was due just later in the week. We would definitely use them again. The folks that came out to install the carpet we're probably some of the nicest people we have met. They were a father son duo, who are just the nicest people.
