This spa is not nearly as nice as other spas I have been to and I paid more money to go here. When I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment the door was locked. I wasn't sure if I was at the right place. Then I saw a note hidden to the side that stated do not arrive early. I called the phone number listed on the door to let them know I was outside. No one answered. Finally right at my appointment time someone answered the door. The service was sloppy but I tipped the technician anyway. A few days later I received a call from the owner Keisha. Somehow the Groupon deal I purchased was refunded from the business. It was a mistake by Groupon not me. I did not get my money back. The owner insulted me numerous times via email accusing me of trying to scam them. Super sad. What a great experience! The location is very easy to find and it's right off Main Street. No need to arrive early so show up exactly when your appointment is supposed to start. The paperwork took 3 minutes to complete so I see why there's no need to arrive early. The location is super clean and well decorated, and she's got a nice iPad to sign in at. I thought it was a nice touch. The Swedish massage was phenomenal. The hot stones were a total highlight. I was very relaxed and Kandi made sure to ask about any problem areas, pressure levels and any other concerns. The atmosphere definitely puts you in a relaxed state from the moment you walk in and she was lovely music playing to help you relax. You need to bring cash to tip. No card tips accepted. Gave my wife a gift groupon for laser-lipo and when she tried to make appt in Va Beach the person on the phone was rude and rushing. They charged her credit card even though I gave her a gift groupon. When she tried to get the credit card refunded, they instead refunded the groupon which had 4 visits for $160 and wanted to charge her $200 for one visit. Dishonest treatment. Bad business! The owner has such an attitude, when I called to make my appointment she was rude and when we hung up, she called back because on my Groupon it still had my old lady name, which I understand but she was still rude. The redeemed my coupon before I had even had the service. I wrote a bad review because of her rudeness and not explaining anything to me, after that, she CANCELLED my appointment and how I found out about this was through text message. Omg omg omg! This is the BEST massage I have ever had hands down. My boyfriend and I had a couples massage and it was just perfect! I had Kandi and my boyfriend had Brittany(?). Kandi put her FOOT into my back, at one point I thought she was an octopus, I felt so many hands on my body at once lol. It was an amazing experience. Kandi focused on my entire body, unlike other places I have been to. She even used hot stones and towels to further enhance the experience. My boyfriend and I could barely get off the bed afterwards. Not to mention she calls and left a voicemail with an attitude. Rescheduled my massage the day of, not once but twice. Highly DO NOT recommend this place. Not worth your time and money. The massage was wonderful. However, Kandi was very unprofessional when I simply inquired through email about my massage on May 2 being short by more than 10 minutes. I emailed Kandi after I had spoken to my sister, and was shocked when I found out that my sister also had an unpleasant experience with Kandi over Kandi thinking she had put a negative review on her website. My sister had posted a review on a nail salon. I did not realize that time had been deducted for using the restroom and undressing and dressing. Kandi's response was very rude and unprofessional. Kandi should have simply explained the time process and apologized. Instead I was offered a 15 minute massage session, and was told in her email response "Maybe massage envy is on Groupon and your brother can try out the students there or the Asian Massage places would be an option too they are pretty cheap these days but no schooling in the art of massage itself" from Kandi. Kandi blocked my email address after her 2nd response. In my email, I told her that I would be requesting a refund for my 2 remaining vouchers. Low and behold on May 16, 2019 at 9:47 AM, Kandi called my house and left me a very nasty threatening message which I still have on my machine. She said that I had requested a refund for the massage that I had received, she has my email address, the form I filled out and me on camera. She would wait exactly an hour to hear back from me and she definitely will be pressing charges against me for fraud. I listened to this message around 3 PM yesterday. I was even more shocked when I saw that she had debited $40 out of my bank account without my permission. I called and left several messages stating I had purchased 3 vouchers, 1 which was redeemed and 2 were refunded, she could press whatever charges she wanted, I too have all the proof that I need. To NEVER leave a threat on my machine ever again. Kandi should have done her research before ever calling and leaving me such a threatening message and going into my bank account. I do have proof of everything that I am saying. I have my proof from Living Social, my bank, the emails and the voice message. When I spoke to Kandi around 3:20 PM yesterday she never apologized, she simply said once I left her the message stating that I had purchased 3 vouchers in total and upon further review she had indeed made an error. She then sent an email stating the refund will be processed within a few days. All of this could and should have been avoided, had Kandi took the time to look before she threatened me and went into my bank account without my permission. She could have left a message requesting me to call her and we could have cleared this up as adult women. Instead I would not recommend her to anyone. read more

Do NOT buy a groupon for any service at this establishment!!! First of all, they only will give you an appointment with a Groupon at very inconvenient times and were terse when I was trying to make the appointment. On the day that I had an appointment (scheduled at 6 PM) I called at 8 AM because I had a family emergency and needed to cancel. I asked for someone to call me back so I could find out if the Groupon was still valid or now void. I called again 2:30 PM the answering machine picked up once again and I chose not to leave a message. Instead of a call back I received a text message at 6:45 saying that I'd missed my appointment and a $25 charge had been debited from my account. I immediately called and was told that that is their policy and I was informed of the policy when I made my appointment. Let us be clear that the $25 debit was never discussed when I was making my appointment, nor is it listed on the groupon. The woman I spoke with then had the gall to text me a long message about how I was in the wrong....guess what, it is now my mission to let everyone I know how you conduct business. We initially tried to make an appointment earlier last week. We called multiple times and received no answer. We hen emailed them and received a response to call them, and when we did we received no response. We finally got in touch with them and made an appointment for 4pm. We received a call the next day (before our our scheduled appointment) with them stating that they wanted us to reverify appointment because their system "went down" right after we scheduled our appointment. Fast forward to the day of our appointment. We receive a call an hour before our appointment saying that one of their employees has to leave and wants us to reschedule. We bought the couples massage from Groupon and I am from out of town so we were unable to reschedule. We attempt to contact Groupon to get our money back and they stated that Kandi Coated had already redeemed our voucher the as soon as we purchased it before we even received our service! This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable because we are having to go through hoops just to get our money back for something that was not our fault. read more
