Owner is super friendly and nice! Drinks are Amazing!! Will definitely be back!! Thank you!!! My daughter had the Brown sugar milk with boba and I had the watermelon freeze. So delicious! New favorite boba spot!

Dubai chocolate bar

My daughter got a Oreo smoothie here and I came for the Dubai chocolate that is homemade right in the store. He sources the chocolate from Belgium and fresh pistachios from Wisconsin. The owner is a total sweetheart and takes enormous pride in everything that is served. Looking forward to take my other family members here to chill on their couches and watch some cute cartoons. It's definitely a sweet spot in Skokie.

There were very fresh ingredients in the boba. Milkshakes were great, too. Decent selection of desserts but we didn't have any this time.

Look at these reviews but figured I would give it a go since the smell of fried items / sweet n'…read moresour sauce caught some appeal. Asked for a white chocolate mocha, mango filled crepe and chicken spring rolls. Wanted to purchase by finishing off a gift card with value but the clerk wasn't very knowledgeable. Talking to counter staff worried me a bit. He mumbled something eluding to the lack of ingredients for the drink and suggested boba? Hot drink but a cold drink? They offer so many items. Too many tbh. I'm curious how many they can accomplish properly. Their stand is covered from wall to wall in menu advertisements. Every bare space is occupied with some mention and as is, they lack some key ingredients to make them. The order took about twenty minutes since the clerk, I believe, was alone. The drink was definitely not white chocolate mocha but was probably toasted hazelnut. Also the clerk made it much too sweet. The crepe was basic. Decently prepared but with canned, diced mango pieces and smearable whipped cream. That could have used an additional sweetener. Heck, mango jelly of some kind would have upped the flavor & appeal. Afterwards, I really wished they could have put this on that gift card instead. It blows that their hot drink was average but for the cost you're given a large size. At the mall this is the only spot with hot drinks.

Unfortunately, I did not like my experience at Touhy Fruity…read more I only ordered one drink and waited 20 minutes for it. Now if it was busy and clearly understaffed, I wouldn't mind but there were only 2 people in front of me. What annoyed me the most was that there was a family right behind me who ordered smoothies and their order went out before mine? I simply don't understand. They had two teenagers working at shop who took their time with making the orders making sure to chit chat in between. Not very friendly to the customers, either. Now let's talk about my order. They sell boba tea and charge an extra for the tapioca. Why advertise them as "boba tea" if you're going to charge extra for the boba? If anything just raise the price and put it in the listed price instead of asking me if I wanted boba in my BOBA tea. Just confusing for no reason. They also use powders (which was not surprising) but not very good. My drink was extremely sweet and had an artificial taste. I didn't even finish the drink and tossed the rest. Now the shop itself... Is it a boba shop? Rolled ice cream? Or a Vietnamese restaurant? Trick question. It's actually everything! Menu OVERLOAD! No thank you.

Since we hadn't been here, we decided to check it out. This restaurant is located off Dempster St. in a small plaza. They serve a variety of dosas and Indian street food dishes. They also offer Indian desserts, Indian beverages, Boba teas, and Yemeni Adani Tea. The pricing is reasonable. We ordered a Ghee Roasted Dosa, and extra spicy Mysore Masala Dosa, a Spring Dosa, Mumbai Pav Bhaji, and two Adani teas. The food was served promptly. The food is served in sturdy disposable food trays along with plastic ware and hot beverages are served in coffee shop like to-go, small size (paper) coffee cups. The tea was scalding hot as it was freshly prepared. I had to let it cool off. The plastic lid of the cup was tightly fitted and given how hot the cup was, it was hard to take the plastic lid off. The lid was hot along with the cup. They had the hot cup sleeves but they were too big for their small tea cups. The tea was nice. All the dosas were tasty. We liked them. They had decent flavor and texture. They were a bit thicker than the dosas from other south Indian restaurants we have eaten at. That wasn't a problem to us. The spice level for my dosa was good. The accompaniments with the dosas of sambar, coconut chutney, and tomato chutney, for dosa dipping purposes, were nice. We really liked the coconut chutney (w/ cashews) and tomato chutney (w/ peanuts). They were flavorful. The sambar had a nice flavor (from spices & veggies) but texture wise it could've been better. It needed to be a bit thicker. The Pav Bhaji (bread with mixed veggies in a gravy) had a decent taste but it needed to be thick with some body from the usual veggies in it. The Pav (Indian bread) for the Bhaji was really good. Our experience was nice. The service was decent. We were the first customers after they opened at 12:30 pm but a short time later, the restaurant got busy. If I am in the area again, I would go back. Overall, 3.5 stars.

My relative has visited India and stated the Dosa she ordered was so delicious, tasted just like dishes one makes in India. My veggie Samosas were perfectly prepared. I really enjoyed my Brown Sugar Boba Bubble Tea. Our order was placed and served quickly. Wait staff was attentive and extremely friendly. The place is wonderfully decorated with lovely artwork all around. Thanks Dosa Point for a nice dinner. Cheers!~
