Everything was so fresh and green. The zoo was super easy to navigate and walkable, exactly what you need. We stopped for some food at the food trucks and I got a burger and fries. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the burger was. It was thick and juicy with a really good cheese sauce. I don't know how it took me four years to finally go here!

We were there in early April, so all the gorgeous spring flowers (daffodils, tulips, hyacinth) were in full bloom. The parking lot is close to the entrance and I like that there is shade for your car. (note it is $10 to park). You enter the zoo by going up an elevator or escalator. It is the same as the Pittsburgh Zoo entrance. One thing to note is that the zoo is hilly. No matter what direction you go, you will have some up and down hills. It is easy to navigate, though. The day we visited, we were very fortunate that almost every animal was out and active! The giraffes were wandering in their yard, the lion was chatty and playful, the zebras were enjoying their enrichment, the hippos were swimming and playing. I don't know that I've ever been to a zoo where so many animals were all active and visible! The signage was plentiful and easy to navigate and everything was well kept and clean. There were plenty of spaces to sit and relax and most animals had plenty of space to enjoy. A wonderful visit to a beautiful place.

Wolves do not like warm weather so do not visit when its warm. Today it was a chilly fall day. We were there an hour or so before they opened. I'd heard best to be in the first group to visit and we found it made a huge difference. We got to spend a good amount of time with several wolves. The volunteers were informative and we felt very safe. Recommend bringing spare shoes as we stepped in some ... poo. We both really enjoyed our visit and highly recommend it. They give discounts for military both active and vets, fire or medical professionals. We arrived way early so only car there for at least a half hour and the wolves all started howling and making puppy sounds. It was just the coolest moment. I will never forget. I am short so had trouble seeing any wolves because of the tall fence. But it was just magical.

Wear stuff you are willing to get dirty 2. Just bring spare shoes and bags to put your old ones in for the drive home (trust me) 3. It was so beautifully built and so meticulously cared for and restored. I love that they carried the deco details throughout the entire space, including the restaurant areas. When you enter, there is a large ticketing area. They can help you with access to the main museums and for tickets to the movie theater. The staff is extremely helpful in guiding you to the right person and the individuals behind the counter are very helpful as well. I was using a reciprocal membership and once they verified Pittsburgh was far enough away (it very much is as Cincinnati is almost five hours from Pittsburgh) it was easy for them to issue us the tickets. We came specifically for the Auschwitz exhibit which was located on a lower floor. Signage was clear and there were ample staff to help guide to the appropriate location. In addition to the four museums covered by the one museum fee, this building also houses a gift shop, cafe area and the Holocaust Center (whose entrance is at the back of the space and a different ticketing system). There is a LARGE parking area in the front of the complex. It is an uncovered surface lot and on a busy day could be quite a walk to the entrance. You can, however, pull up right in front if someone from your party needs to be dropped off. I really enjoyed my time here, and will definitely be back to spend additional time in the various museums (as we were rushed because we spent so much time in the Auschwitz exhibit). If you are in the Cincinnati area, definitely make sure you visit.

The museum as a hole is very well maintained and clean. The prices are a tad expensive however compared to other museums I have been to in touristy cities. I LOVE VISITING KINGS ISLAND!!…read more This was another great visit to Kings Island with the family. This place just keeps delivering. The kids area is extensive and incredibly well done, with rides and attractions that work for a wide range of ages. It's clear they've thought about the adults too: plenty of shade and comfortable spots to wait while the kids burn off all that energy, which makes a huge difference on a long day (or a short day, you know!) One of my favorite traditions is lunch in the Festhaus. Being able to cool off, catch a show, and enjoy LaRosa's pizza is always a win. The pizza itself is great (as always), though I'll admit the pizza/breadstick combo is a little odd. The breadsticks are pretty doughy and don't have much flavor. Not terrible, just not the highlight. The true star, though, is the blue ice cream in the kids area. It's pure nostalgia, genuinely delicious, and the long line proves I'm not alone in thinking that. Even better, the line moves fast, so it's never a dealbreaker. Pizza and blue ice cream are a must for me every single visit--no exceptions. Kings Island continues to be a place we look forward to coming back to. Great for families, thoughtfully designed, and full of those little traditions that keep pulling you back year after year.

The lines were double the app estimates! The eateries were hilariously unprepared w/ lines out the door. Then you go over to check out & there's 4 registers open but only 1 at a time is ever occupied since only 1 order comes out every 30 secs. So 3 workers are staring at phones! So poorly organized. Our Mac & cheese was so cold we couldn't eat it so had to go back & request another which had a 5 mins wait for another batch. Ice was piled up on every drink dispenser to laughable levels & again there's still 3 check out girls "picking their nose" just 3' away. We left early b/c it was pretty awful.
