The room was a bit dated…read more.. Had a lack of charging stations... these days you have to update to current needs! The room lighting was really dark... I mean come one... put in some real lights. The bed was good the room was clean. It just needed to be updated. I also don't like it when the tv is not centered on the bed or when you have to turn sideways to watch it. I mean how is that comfortable and who actually thought that was a good design? Price ok, staff good, room passable.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating to try to get us into some rooms early without extra charge. I like how there's a restaurant attached in the lobby for burgers and basics, including a bar, which is nice. Definitely seek out the roof rooftop bar, which is away from the crowds downstairs. Managers reception was basic with chips and cheese bites and carrots. But we are all mainly there for the free drinks. Drinks are well drinks and if you tip your server he just might spike your drink more or give you more tickets in appreciation.

This is a review for the conference facilities only…read more We had a team event here this week and here are my observations: -- Conference rooms were plentiful and adequately furnished but temperatures varied widely, running mostly on the uncomfortably cold side. -- Bathrooms were clean but not all the taps or automatic towel dispensers worked. -- Large parking lot with free parking was a plus. -- Food was polarizing, with some excellent dishes, like smoked beef brisket, barbacoa beef tacos, and warm churros in chocolate sauce, but everything else was quite forgettable.

That just tells you how dependable and reliable the Hilton Hotel brand is. This is a safe location so you don't have to be concerned about your vehicle and parking is included free. The lobby is beautiful with chandeliers and nice furnishings and complimentary coffee and tea. Our room was clean, comfortable and relaxing for an evening to unwind and rest to be refreshed for the next travel day! And the beds were comfy so I slept like a baby! Coffee makers in the room so you can start your day off right. The check-in process was smooth and upon checking-out, all I had was complimentary comments for the staff! The hotel restaurant is called Johnny's Italian Steakhouse and the food was delicious, fresh and we were super impressed! They even do a happy hour special, so look them up even if you aren't traveling but just want a meal that is delightfully tasty if you live in the area. We chose the Residence Inn because we had leftovers from previous meals and knew we could use the oven in the suite to heat up dinner instead of going back out. When we arrived, the outside of the hotel looked fine, but once inside it became clear that the property is in need of some updates. The hallways and room had a musty odor, and the carpet, cabinets, and kitchen appliances all appeared worn and outdated. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. The pans in the kitchen were damaged (see photos), the shelves were dirty, and the drinking glasses needed to be washed before use. Even the coffee cups had dried coffee residue in the bottom, so I had to wash those as well. See photos This is not the level of cleanliness I typically expect from a Marriott property. Marriott hotels are usually much better maintained, which made this stay especially disappointing. On a positive note, breakfast the next morning was better than what we experienced at a few other Marriott properties during our trip. Overall, this stay fell short of our expectations for the Marriott brand. While the location served its purpose for a quick overnight stop, the condition and cleanliness of the room need significant improvement.

I'm not sure about like weeks at a time, but I would say that staying there for a one night passing through is not bad at all probably will stay there again. We didn't have anything with bugs or any kind of animals in the room. The rooms were redone nicely and they have hard flooring instead of carpet, which is a nice gesture to have.

A month on from the end of the games and the damaged property and ruts in the ground still remain on the public side, yet the private side has already begun remediation.
