I was just going for a simple oil change and the battery in my vehicle had started draining after the first freeze and needed replacement. The price for oil change is $49.99, good start. They tested my battery and as I suspected it needed replacement. They gave me comparable OEM replacement options as well as lower cost options to consider. They did not try to upsell me on any services or batteries, which I really appreciate from a shop. My vehicle was ready within a few hours and I was happy with the services performed. Elite is a hidden gem, located in an industrial complex, which I have driven by for years and not noticed other than the A frame oil change sign. I will be a regular customer from now on. You should give them a try if you are looking for a shop in Modesto.

I thought his name was Jason but the second guy I dealt with said he's Jason and one of the owners. So I took my cracked rim to them and the first guy said they'll fix it for a said price, it needed a patch too. He said come back if there's a problem. After I put it on my car the air came right out of the welded/ repaired area. I took it back and the first guy wasn't there. Jason said he would have to charge me $150 to take out a slight bend in the rim, and that the weld was a seperate thing. I thought a fix was a fix. Why would they give it back to me if it wasn't fixed? Also, he pointed out how the tire was damaged and that's why it might leak. If the tire is damaged, why did they patch it? Moreover, I asked Jason a few times if a new tire would fix the problem, he wouldn't give me a straight answer. He could have said give it a try, and not guarantee anything. As the owner he could have made things right. He seemed to only want more money, not solve the problem. I would have been a regular customer and recommended them because of the good location and such, but I guess trying to pry more money was more important than a happy customer

We were in and out of the tire place in about 15 minutes and only down $20 for the patch. We had to drive all the way back to Watsonville that night to get ready for an early friends Thanksgiving dinner the next day, so... we really really really appreciated the ease. Charges me $51 for the tire. I was kind of in awe of the price (should have been my first red flag.) a day later I'm driving and my PSI is at a 17. I'm thinking "wow. Now another tire needs to be changed." I look at my NEW (used) tire and notice some things about it that look the same as the other. I remembered I took a picture of the tires weeks prior to show my brother. I pull up the picture... SAME TIRE. These idiots never changed the tire. I went up there with my brother and all they could argue with me about is the date on the receipt. My brother goes "so yall charged her $51 for air she can get for free?" They offered me a tire. Man goes to retrieve said tire... that one has a nail in it as well. NEVER GO HERE.
