Kansas Tires and Wheels is a great place to get oil changed in your vehicle. They are friendly, and when they have a special sale on an oil change, it is a decent price. They have a comfortable waiting room. It only has a few chairs, but it is roomy and usually empty when I have gone. So, I sit in the air conditioned area while I wait! Which is much needed in the Modesto summer!! The guy I talked to told me to call him "Q". He was very nice and helpful. I don't feel taken advantage of, especially as a woman. Definitely not coming here again: I was new to the area so I had to go to a new oil changing spot and I'm all for small mom and pop shops so I chose here as it had decent reviews I had a few people ahead of me which is kinda understandable why my wait took about 2 1/2 hours but the reason I gave a 1 star was due to them doing my oil change as normal went to start my car and all of a sudden my car wouldn't start which it did for the drive there and it did for the drive in but they tried jump starting it with a jumper pack tried it a few times then they notified me that my car wasn't starting tried blaming it on my battery which I told them there's no way as I just got the battery 2 weeks ago then oh all of a sudden it's my starter they tried to "force" the starter but after I noticed I told them to stop that I had someone coming to give me a hand had a friend come by to jump start my car with a jumper pack that was about 3xs smaller than there's and my car started right up I had check my logs to my dash cam and it turns out they left my car on in accessory mode the whole time it was in the shop causing my car battery to die so instead of a 2 hour process with the wait and all I was there for almost 5 hours read more

Staff were friendly and helpful, but that is where the positive experience ends. I had called before and over the phone they quoted me $15 for a rotation. It was the best price so I went with them, but when my tires were done, I saw that one of them had a screw in it so I asked them to plug it and that is where I made a mistake and did not ask. "how much would it be for the plug?" They charged me $20 for a plug... a piece of plastic that took them maybe 3 minutes to put into my tire was more expensive than the tire rotation... to me does not make sense business-wise but I decided to pay because they were friendly. I was on my way to Fresno recently when the check engine light came on in my car. Luckily, I found this place. It was conveniently just off the freeway. I pulled in and was greeted. They were friendly and determined all I needed was an oil change - I thought I had more miles to go for that! They quickly got me back on the road and I made my appointment on time. And, not only did they not take advantage of my distressing situation, the price was much lower than I thought it would be! I highly recommend this location. read more

These idiots replaced the front tires on my friend's car. One side was leaking so bad afterwards she had to go back and get it replaced immediately. Sam was really helpful and accommodating. He was very cordial on the phone and in person. He gave us a great deal on tires and mounting and being that it was 4th of July didn't hike up his prices like other shops were trying to do, he was genuinely a nice and easy going guy to do business with. read more

This place is the worst place to buy new tires and wheels. They are very sneaky and they all try to cheat you. I paid for new tires and wheels and got one tire that had the side walls shaved. What a coincidence that it was the one they put at the back passenger side. The tires tread looks new like the other three but why put a tire that for some reason has the sides shave where the brand name and model number is at? I will never buy anything from this place again. read more
