I have been coming to Karafuto skincare to get a combination of facials/microdermabrasion for the past 5 years. My biggest issue is having a lot of blackheads & whiteheads, and Anastasia is amazingly thorough at extractions. My face ends up glowing after each session and the roughness and uneven texture is gone. So the first procedure was to moisturize the skin of my face, then a mask and a special oil. Next was scrubbing the skin of my face, BTW is not the most pleasant procedure, don't be a pussy, it is necessary to clean the skin of the toxins. Then there was extrusion of slag from the skin of the face (this is not very pleasant, I was trynna to run away ahah), but after these procedures there'll be a feeling that the skin literally began to breathe. I gave up seeing my westside esthetician of 2 years, as I felt she just stuck to a routine of blueberry facials & micro derm etc, even if my skin at the time did not need it. Anastasia was wonderful! Had my first appointment today and was greeted with coffee, water, and yummy snacks. I had just come back from a 2-week vacation, and my skin was breaking out from eating out everyday. After a thorough skin consultation, Anastasia recommended the European acne control facial plus a glycolic peel add-on. The facial included an extraction process and she was effective in quickly (and pretty painlessly) cleaning clogged pores. She even provided a free LED light treatment! My skin feels so much lighter and brighter :) Advice: There are two prices for each service on her website (i.e., 95/105). The first is the cash price, and the second is for card. 6 months ago, I had the worst hormonal congested breakout of my life. It covered my cheeks, chin, and forehead area and it just kept getting worse and worse. At some point, I really thought that this would be my life. Every time my skin was getting a little better, the breakouts would start all over again.
