I recently had the opportunity to try one of the newest technologies of this salon. I've been going to different salons and I can confirm, this is hands down my favorite. Not only are they extremely friendly and professional, they have always made me feel completely comfortable about the procedures I was having. The building is gorgeous, and the lobby is insta worthy. The office is bright and uplifting, with calm music softly playing when arrive, you'll be greeted by a friendly face and an offer for a coffee or water?? I was here this day to try one of the newest procedures: the 3-in-1 oxygen facial. What is this? It's a new procedure that includes exfoliation |Infusion| Oxygenation. They use a device that produces oxygen to go to the skin that helps exfoliate,renew, improve moisture retention, better absorption of nutrients and over all improvement of skin texture. The esthetician brought me back to a dim room with soft music playing and a disposable robe to change into. She left me to change and get under the warm sheets. She came back and while I was nervous, her friendliness quickly calmed me. The procedure starts with a deep cleaning of my face. Then a layer of gel is applied and she prepares the oxygen tablet for use. The end of device quickly turns snd the tablet helps exfoliate and bring oxygen to the face. This did not hurt at all. After the time was u with the oxygen tablet, she cleansed again, then applied a rubberized mask. Did I mention I love robber masks??? She left me alone to relax while this mask did it's magic. I almost fell asleep. Once the mask was removed, I touch my face.... it felt so damn smooth. She applied some hyaluronic acid that seeped right in and I was glowing!!!! Anastasia, the owner, was kind enough to accommodate me at 8:30 PM, right after rush hour. During the facial, she provided exceptional care by gently cleansing and exfoliating my skin. What truly made a difference, however, was her insightful advice about my acne concerns. She explained that my overuse of the acne treatment was exacerbating the issue and outlined a specific aftercare routine that I needed to follow. I can't express how thankful I was for her guidance; it truly empowered me to take the right steps for healing. She detailed how my skin would peel and advised me on how to care for the affected area without aggravating it. Because I followed her instructions closely, the peeling I experienced the next day was minimal, and my skin returned to normal within just two days! I was genuinely shocked at how quickly my skin healed, as I had expected a lengthy recovery based on my research. Additionally, I was impressed by how she explained the benefits of the products she used, emphasizing that they contained clean ingredients. Need any facial? Like real good one then visit Karafuto Skin Care 9911 Pico blvd near Century City. Anastasia- she's Russian and Korean. She's very detailed with her work and at the same time very entertaining. She told me that when she visits Russia she does facials for her neighbors and friends for free. They fall in line outside her house very early when they hear shes in town, because it's their chance to get free facial. Many of those who fall in line are battered and abused women, physically overworked while some are just poor and cannot afford to have facials. I asked why she do it for free and she said she feels good and happy to be able to do something for people, "it's a different feeling when you are able to touch the skin of a person to make them feel good and beautiful instead of having the hand of a man laid upon them. I was so stunned when I heard her say that. I thought that was a very powerful message. I told her about a Filipino guy who is a barber and cuts hair for the homeless in New York and she was absolutely delighted when she heard that story and said she'd like to meet people like that. Anastasia is an epitome of kindness and she is worth emulating. I support people like her and the more business she have the more people she can help with.
