That loyalty made my most recent visit all the more disappointing. I had a 10:50am appointment. The day before, Felicia texted asking if I could push to 11am. I said I'd try to rearrange my plans. She replied: "let's keep the 10:45." I managed to move things around (because if she was asking, I figured she was in need, and I wanted to help) and arrived at 10:57 -- 7 minutes late by the original booking, not 15. When I walked in, Felicia told me I was 15 minutes late. I explained I'd rearranged my schedule to accommodate her request. She shrugged and said "too bad, I already booked someone afterwards.". It wasn't until I was in the room that I checked the reminder email -- original appointment: 10:50. So by her own scheduler, I was 7 minutes late, not 15. Felicia eventually gave me an extra 5 minutes to make up for the mix-up, and I appreciated that. But the cold, dismissive way she started the appointment stayed with me. That's not how you treat someone who's followed you for 15 years. Part of why I see Felicia specifically -- and not one of those high-volume places with curtain walls and hospital beds for tables (you know the ones) -- is the whole experience. A facial should be calming and restorative, and Felicia's warmth has always been as much a part of that as her technique. When that warmth disappeared at the door, it colored everything that followed. The facial itself was top notch. Felicia is genuinely skilled, stays current on products and techniques, and can deliver a top-notch treatment in her sleep. I hope this was an off day, because the person that greeted me at the door was not the warm person that I've been loyal to for a decade and a half.

But then when I got into the actual facial procedure, it didn't go so well. I was assigned someone named Kyung. She used the needle/lancet A LOT. I had maybe one stubborn, deeper pimple, but the fact that she used a needle to puncture and squeeze a bunch of spots caused a lot of scarring/hyperpigmentation that's taken me over two weeks now to exfoliate and get rid of, and its not yet near to being clear. If their smaller ones that can be squeezed then a lot is normal- but the needle was used probably over 20 times. Not only that, but every time she spoke, it was always an attempt to get more money. First, it was asking if I wanted to buy a package or some sort of membership. She asked twice and kept on being pushy as she was doing the procedure. Next, she asked me to tip at least twice as well, and reminded me several times, even got the physical sign with her venmo/PayPal and showed it to me, to make sure I understood. Note that maybe had we made other small talk, then maybe, just maybe the way she was so pushy and trying to get more money out of me would be fine, but it was really every moment she spoke was an opportunity to get more money. It's a horrible feeling. That said, I wouldn't recommend trying, unless perhaps you're fluent in Korean and could veer the conversation to other things or speak more firmly when sold to.

What impressed me the most was how carefully they analyzed my facial expressions before doing anything. They didn't just inject in the usual spots. They actually asked me to make different expressions--raising my eyebrows, frowning, relaxing my face--and watched closely to see exactly where the muscles were working. Based on that, they explained where Botox would help and, just as importantly, where it was not necessary. That level of detail made me feel very comfortable because it was clear they were focused on natural results rather than simply using more product. I especially appreciated that they were conservative and thoughtful with the injections. They avoided placing Botox in areas that didn't truly need it, which made me feel like I was in very honest and experienced hands. Another pleasant surprise was how little the injections hurt. I was honestly expecting it to be more uncomfortable, but the technique was so gentle that it was much easier than I imagined. Overall, the entire experience felt very professional, careful, and trustworthy. If you're looking for a place that takes the time to understand your face and aims for natural-looking results, I would absolutely recommend them.

My review described my experience as a client; it was not an invitation to argue that my experience didn't happen because I didn't complain at checkout. The receptionist was on the phone as I was leaving, and at that point I simply wanted to go home rather than make a scene. Feedback from paying clients won't always be positive. Part of running a business is being able to receive that feedback and use it to improve, rather than disputing every negative experience. After seeing the owner's response to my review and similar responses to other reviewers, I definitely would not recommend or return.

Went in originally because I was suffering from hormonal/cystic breakouts due to PCOS. Never had acne my entire life, then this hit me in my late 20's. Part of my plan to fix the problem included regular deep cleaning facials (along with better diet/exercise/supplements/etc) During the first year, Carla noticeably decreased cystic breakouts overall, along with the scarring marks I had along my jawline/cheeks (caused by those breakouts). She put me on a new facial regime using iS Clinical products - which I continue to adhere to religiously to this day. Basically, she helped my skin recover from a traumatic 2 years of hormonal acne. Today, I RARELY breakout. I can't even remember the last cystic blemish I've had - it's that seldom. That said, I still see Carla monthly to maintain my glow and give my face a nice deep clean :) Carla is amazing at what she does. And I'm positive that since I'm a regular, she gives me a bunch of little extra freebies every time I see her for my monthly facial service. I've come to know her well as a friend too, and genuinely love this woman! Girl when I tell you don't trust just anyone with your brows, lashes or any kind hair removal, I mean that! Alexis is a true brow artist. She helped me get mine to the perfect shape after years of over trimming and over plucking. After just two visits and trusting the process and not plucking during the few weeks in between, sure enough they were exactly what I dreamed of. I also always had problems with Brazilian waxing and sugaring, I've gone to so many different people over the years after extensive research and reading thousands of reviews and always had irritation, ingrowns, redness etc. I HATE shaving because my skin is so over the top sensitive and I felt I could trust Alexis so I had her do a full Brazilian sugar on me and oh my god. First of all she did it in like 5 minutes. She told me how and when to breathe. It was over before it could start to hurt. I was soft and glowy, no bad reactions just soft beautiful skin. I'll never trust anyone else again. And don't even get me started on how beautiful she will make your natural lashes. You don't realize how long your natural lashes are until you see them perfectly lifted. No one does this better than her. She gets the perfect amount of lift and curl out of your lashes, which makes them look completely natural and makes YOU look and feel effortlessly beautiful. Alexis is one of the kindest people you will ever meet, she's so accommodating with your needs (within reason, of course), and she makes you feel so comfortable that you forget where you are. If you're anything like me, you get stressed and anxious before appointments and have a hard time keeping them because something about lying down or even being in a chair in any kind of a vulnerable position can be overwhelming, even when we are simply trying to pamper ourselves! Well this is not something you will ever feel when you decide to start booking with her. Her studio feels like home and she treats you like family. She goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable and happy. I've never had a better conversation, every appointment feels like a much needed girl sesh. I leave there feeling renewed, rejuvenated and light, and that's after a Brazilian... So that should tell you all you need to know. I honestly can't hype her up enough, you'll understand when you see for yourself. Don't walk, run!

She listens to what I want and always leaves me looking flawless. I usually do the eyebrow tint and lash perm because I like the whole "natural look" and she gets it! Her appointment system is so easy to schedule and be reminded of my following appointment, that I always look forward to. I feel like family now after seeing her for the last 4mo. Highly recommend her. And a bonus she's right by the beach
