    Chicken Briyani and mint chutney

I stumbled upon this restaurant. Ordered the malai chicken kabob it was so soft and tasty came with this yummy rice, channa and a naan. I was getting it to go but had to sit down and taste it. One bite to next i had devoured 1/2 my to go box! So I went back for more. Its Eid so they were very busy with lots of large orders. I got their daily special. Chicken biriyani it was a mountain of fragrant and colorful plate! It was also very yummy!! Will definitely be going back to try more items on the menu.

Food was really tasty and fresh. Customer service was very accommodating to our large group who was all visiting from out of town. Highly recommend it!

We arrived early evening and they had a candle and tablecloth on each table. I ordered Baadenjaan Bouranee, luscious eggplant dish; Frenched Rack Of Lamb, perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful; and Pumpkin Dumpling Entree, perfectly sweet, smooth interior and perfectly steamed dumpling wrapper. I will continue to support this establishment.

When we walked in, we were greeted very nicely and sat quickly. Our server was new and it was her first day so she couldn't really give any recommendations which wasn't the best, but the manager came out and was able to help with describing some of the dishes and giving great recommendations. Most of the people that we ate with ended up with some type of lamb dish and the lamb was phenomenal. The rice was delicious. The eggplant was delicious. We got a bunch of appetizers. Everything was on point. Everything tasted super fresh and overall we had a very nice experience. The food also came out very quickly. The overall ambience was very nice very home type vibe and it is a smaller restaurant for limited tables One of our friends that we went with since we haven't seen each other for a long time was really craving a beer and kebabs which sometimes a little bit harder than one would anticipate but they served alcohol as well as delicious food so win-win here. So overall, I would highly recommend this place if you want delicious Afghan food, but of course remember to book in advance .

I got there after 6pm. It was packed. It was my first there and had no idea what I was getting into. The menus doesnt explain much nor were prices mentioned. Its like $39.99 They also tacked on a service fee. Which is deceiving since its not mentioned upfront in the menu. You find out when you get your bill. The service was 5 stars. The young man very attentive and friendly. Ushered our dirty tables and brought us our drinks. I had minty lemonade which I recommend if your gonna eat a lot. Here's my gripe. Its very important to label food. None of the food trays or stations were labeled. I have several food allergies and I had no idea what was what. I had to ask what was this or that. One tray had rice and I saw something that had deep fried crispy something. I thought it was chicken... it was fish :( The hummus was good though. The baklava meh. The pita bread was good. Some rice tray had kabob type of meat but it was lukewarm. For the price I paid, its not worth it. Please label your trays. Im give this place another try with my husband after Ramadan. , I saw on the dessert menu they have Knafeh.. a delicious middle eastern dessert that I love. Can't wait to try that.

The parking outside is a bit interesting but if you are coming in to pick up, it's not too bad but I can see this being packed at night. Parking can be limited for sure. Ranging from Rice Platters, Kabab Platters, Sandwiches, Wings, Tenders, Gyros, Salads, and Dessert, this place a lot for what it's offering. The staff were friendly and recommended me to try the Kabob platter after mentioning seeing that in the Menu. I ended up getting the Combo over Rice as it's my go to. Gyro Meat, Chicken, Cucumbers, Lettuce, over a bed of rice drizzled with White and Red Sauce. It is my go to meal and you can't go wrong with that. Since it was cold, the meal kept me warm and I was able to enjoy every bite as it was also filling. I could come back for more! This place is also open late, another reason why you should check out Zaytoun Halal Grill. It's great!
