Finding Dr Truax was a breath of fresh air. The office was beautiful and recently remodeled. The staff was professional from making the appointment, helping me with process, getting me financial information and eventually checking me out. Lindsay, my Technician, was wonderful and explained what was happening with my teeth and she gave me the best cleaning I've had since I left Massachusetts. Dr Truax is a revelation! I had lost a crown a year ago and had gone to a Dentist who could not have been worse. I was there for hours, mostly waiting, meeting with "financial" people. I sat in a chair listening to a woman in the next room getting a "hard sell" to get work done she didn't want. I left there without even getting my teeth cleaned. I did nothing for a year thinking I couldn't find a Dentist until I met someone who suggested Dr Truax. Dr Truax spent time with me ; he reviewed in detail my case. Ultimately he recommended what he could do and suggested a conservative course of treatment not doing things that were going to cost thousands. I have to return for a small cavity and that's it. I know I am going on here but I'm just so happy to finally have a Dentist. In addition Dr Truax's Dad operates a clinic in the same building where they serve patients who can't afford dental care. Sounds too good to be true? This is a special family. I hope if you are reading this you act on my recommendation.

So badly my first visit here Dr. Dinh was kind enough to write me a prescription for 1 valium pill my first visit. After the first official visit, getting work done, seeing how kind, gentle and caring they are the anxiety all but disappeared. Emily the dental hygienist is absolutely amazing as well. I have no complaints about the work, the crowns are perfect along with all the other work they have done over the past year. I highly recommend them. But he was right. The crown in question was bulky and apparently left something of a gap. The crown Dr. C installed fit so much better! I wasn't thrilled with the first hygienist I was paired with at Midpoint. (She was proficient, though not friendly.) But then ..... I lucked out with Tucker Gross. He's a great hygienist and so personable. I actually looked forward to my cleanings! Unlike other reviewers, I found the office staff transparent about billing. Estimates were always accurate in accordance with my dental insurance. There's very little that I miss about living in Florida. But I was sorry to leave this practice when I moved out of state.

Absolutely positively phenomenal .the staff is wonderful right from the beginning with Krista and Stacy at the front desk to the dental tech Michelle and so forth. My only complaint is the hours they are open have diminished over the years. They are only open now from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through thursday. Nothing on friday. That is quite unfortunate for working people particularly. I am now retired but I bring my great niece there who is in school. So I have to take her out of school for her to be seen. I just wish that the hours were more convenient.

I needed a cleaning today and was attended to by Alex , dental hygienist. A complete set of dental X-Rays were taken prior to treatment. Alex was exceptionally polite and very thorough in his application of cleaning techniques. It was a pain free experience which left my teeth feeling cleaned and refreshed. Dr. Klamut followed up with a dental exam and found no need for further treatment. An appointment was made for my next cleaning appointment in six months. Just a chicken shit letter in the mail 5 days later stating patient Termination= Why?.The sister office Surfside Harbor also canceled me out as a patient also?. No! Explanation at all either . Someone in Smiles Del Prado office made up a false accusation about me to Dr Klamut . I have no other clue /Ideal why I was canceled as a patient at all ? The only issue I had was I came to see him and get it fixed as "emergency" visit and it ended up being a consult to sell me veneers which I didn't like. But I told him I was going to go with bonding and he said ok then I had to schedule an appointment to get it fixed a week out. I got on liar for cancellations and it was fixed the next day so not to bad. Thought that was odd practice to send away people with dental emergency my tooth could have cracked off and I was afraid to eat on it. Anyway it worked out it's good now if he had fixed it same day without another visit I would have given 5 stars.
