That makes them popular. When I go, there are always people waiting to be seen. If their service were so bad that they needed to be shut down, then their office would be empty; not the case. I have been going there for almost a decade and received excellent care, advice and cleanings. I have never had problems with insurance. Their prices are fair and within reason. Their staff are mostly bi-lingual; speaking Spanish and English. I don't speak Spanish and have never had difficulty communicating. Special shout out to Ana, the dental hygienist. She is the compleat professional, possibly the best there is at what she does. I highly recommend this branch of Coast Dental because of the good service I have received over the years, as compared to other dental offices in this city.

We were looking for a dentist, in 2014, after having a really bad experience with another local dentist that totally messed up a crown that I needed. The dentist, in question, did a poor job with the crown and refused to be bothered with alleviating the pain I was having after his repair. Fortunately, I found Dr. McClaran and he took me on as a patient to correct the problem temporarily at no charge. We had to leave for Germany, where I worked, and when I returned to Cape Coral, after retirement, in 2016, we became regular patients of his. UNFORTUNATELY, THEY HAVE THE SAME BUSINESS MODEL AS FORT MYERS. WARNING - STAY FAR FAR AWAY I have Medicare and am supposed to get an exam and a cleaning yearly. I have had my teeth cleaned every 6 months for over 40 years and in the past my teeth would be cleaned and the doctor would come in and do an exam and report his findings. I rarely had any cavities and was never pressured to have say old fillings taken out and new ones put in. At Coast Dental they have a neat scam. They refuse to clean your teeth claiming that you have one or two spots that need extra scaling or cleaning first. I should have read they pulled this on the yelp writer. I have since found 6 people who they also did it to and all went somewhere else and found they didn't need the special work Coast dental claimed. In my case they wouldn't clean unless I paid $600 extra. The one I read on yelp was $2000. Mind you i have no problem whatsoever with bleeding or redness or puffiness . They also said I had no cavities. But refused service unless I paid first. I have checked with my old hygenists and they said that with a little massaging the number they quote on the gum scan reading will go to where it is considered within limits. I HAVE SINCE LEARNED THERE THERE ARE DISREPUTAL DENTAL COMPANIES THAT PULL THIS TYPE OF SCAM TO GET MOE MONEY CLAIMING THEY WOULD BE "NEGLIGENT" IF THEY CLEANED YOUR TEETH. AMAZING THAT I HAVE HAD OVER 100 CLEANINGS AND IN EVERY CASE BUT THIS ONE MY TEETH WERE CLEANED, I HAD THE EXAM AFTER AND HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND YEARS WORTH OF CONTINUED SERVICE WITH THESE DENTISTS. Teeth so tight together I can't floss properly. I told Doctor but he complained that he would have to take crown off and sand it down to fit. He said it's supposed to be tight so no food gets in. I said what? He finally sanded or whatever he did to widen gap. Cleanings went ok there. The hygienist has language barriers. Front desk Heather was the best employee. After several "oops" by the dentist doing my new teeth such trying to put in the wrong screws, to sanding down some high areas that causes clicking to screwing in an area where there wasn't a screw to be attached. All of these can be overlooked but now my life consists of usually always dry mouth; constant clicking, undistinguishible sounding of my words and speech impairment; meaning most of my speech has to be repeated to be understood, especially using the phone-asking me to please spell what im trying to say. I've told that dentist many times about all these concerns and her attitude was " I can hear you just fine" when I say to her--if you have/had a daughter who sounds like this, you'd be ashamed. I've been purchasing all sorts of gum, gel, toothpaste, & tablets containing Xyliments for the dryness; well the fit or dryness has caused me to sleep w/my mouth open keeping those around me to complain about loud snoring. i've moved my teeth around to feel if their position would make a difference in speech and sleeping & I fee it DOES. My problem is, she feels completed with my implants and has not reccommended trying to assist me-no other dentist will work on them since THEY DID NOT implant them and will not take any responsibility in doing so.
