They have not showed me where these bills or charges are coming from. My husband got his tooth out in December 2025. We paid in full right there on my care credit card. Months later ,I get a letter saying if I don't pay my remaining balance it will go to collections . Shocked , I call in right away and ask for a manager . The manager is not available but they say I have a balance on the account because of insurance issues . I pay the extra 124 and the receptionist Lucy said that was the only other outstanding balance and we were paid up now . Never once did the manager ever speak to me or call me about the account . Then two weeks after that , I get another email saying I owe 30 dollars again. Frustrated , I call back again and ask for the manager. Still the manager is unavailable and I've only spoken to Lucy the receptionist. She says disregard the 30 charge and we don't owe anything . This morning I get an email from a debt collector saying I have a balance in collections for 155 dollars !! Still no communication from the manager and no explanation of what these charges are because again, I paid in full at the time of the visit last year and then an extra 124 ! They gave me the number for the corporate office and it was out of service so there is no one available to address my issue . The entire experience has been beyond unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend this office whatsoever.

My appointment was scheduled for 8:00 AM, yet when I arrived, I was told Dr. Schneider wasn't even in the office. I waited nearly 50 minutes, not because he was busy with patients, but because he arrived late. Before any X-rays were taken, I specifically asked about the cost of the panoramic X-ray (pano) since I know what my insurance covers. I was told multiple times in person and later over the phone that there would be no charge and not to worry about it. After the visit, I reviewed my insurance claim and saw that the pano was billed anyway. I contacted the office and spoke with two different staff members, both of whom insisted there was no charge and even told me the claim was wrong despite me looking at it directly. I then followed up multiple times by email requesting written confirmation or a correction to the claim. They never responded. The second opinion itself was nearly identical to my original treatment plan, except it was priced at almost three times higher, which only added to my concerns. Being told one thing, billed another, and then completely ignored when asking for clarification speaks volumes. Between the unexplained charges, contradictory information, and now being ghosted, this office has shown exactly how they handle issues when patients question them. I would strongly recommend thinking twice and carefully reviewing everything before choosing this practice.

LOVE Dr. Baxmann at SWFL Dental group!! Have had a great experience here and would definitely…read morerecommend to others. Office staff is kind, responsive, capable. When you have an urgent need, they go out of their way to help figure out a solution. Originally went to this office for 3 years until they stopped taking our insurance. Went to 2 other in-network dentists since leaving SWFL Dental and r experiences have been awful at these other places - temps used as hygienists, hidden costs, trying to upsell, wanting to drill/fill cavities that aren't actually cavities (thanks to Dr. Baxmann for taking a look & letting us know no work was really needed!). We truly feel that we can trust Dr. Baxmann so r returning and will just pay the out of network cost. It's worth the money to be able to rely on the opinion/expertise and work of someone like Dr. Baxmann who is honest, takes a cautious approach and takes his time ensuring he's providing you with his best work. We r a little more along the holistic/biologic category in r dental approach & although that isn't Dr B's practice, he is respectful of r opinions and gives us the option on what we feel comfortable doing. As far as quality of dental work, he fixed 2 of my child's teeth with enamel hypocalcification/hypoplasia and they look so great now! He did an amazing job matching the color so that it looks natural. Really thankful he walked us through the details so we could feel comfortable moving forward. It's obvious that Dr. Baxmann and his office try to ensure each patient has a great experience. He's truly one of the kindest people. Give him a try - you'll thank me.

They were calling to ask if I could stop in to talk to Dr. S, about my bad tooth. About an hour later they called again to Ask to ask if I could come in 15 mins earlier that the the agreeded upon 4:15. I say of course. I had errands to run by but I did I had 1 important errand to run. I arrived about 3:55pm and the office was totally full of ppl waiting. But hey, it was only a short talk, right? I had to pick up my husband heart Medication by 5:00 pm. I waited an hour and it was now 4:50 and I heard doctor walk into another persons room. When that happened I knew I had to leave and I was really upset. I could have run out and picked up the medicine and return to "The Waiting Line" and talked to the dr. I was upset and just left. I called the next day to schedule an actual appointment, and was told by the same person who asked me to come in earlier for a quick talk -I was told that she'd ask the dr if I could schedule one and hung up on me. I called back later and told her I was ready to have tooth pulled and an implant. He took my apt. I was alsso told that if I ever leave an apt or reschedule another apt. Plus she told me that I had to pay for "The Visit" I left b4. I didn't have an apt, it was suppose to b in and out talk. Right! Question: what would u do? My time is just as important to me as his is to hIm. I really liked him and I miss him. HOW LONG DO YOU WAIT? How about not scheduling 6 months ahead of time. Other things happen during a 6 month period. I had to reschedule 1 apt a few weeks b4 as my car wouldn't start. New battery put in that night.
