I was able to get my eyebrows threaded here for the first time and Prateema did an amazing job. I was really nervous to try out a new place as my regular eyebrow lady moved to Sacramento. I really liked the special touches here like applying a cooling, aloe Vera like gel to the eyebrows after the treatment. And they have you sanitize your hands before they begin. read more

It's my first time coming here and it says appointment only but I was able to call and come in right away. $15 for the eyebrow threading. Not bad! There are definitely other places that are cheaper, but I think I can justify $15 for the experience. It's very clean inside, and she offers hand sanitizer before you touch your face to help pull your skin taut. She was very gentle and it wasn't painful other than when it's time to actually pull the thicker hairs out. She applied some aloe vera gel after. She told me my eyebrow shape were not even and helped make them look symmetrical! She even mentioned part of my eyebrow is kinda sparse and will leave it like that for now and see how it grows out (I may or may not have overplucked these myself lol). I will definitely be back :) She accepts payment as venmo, zelle, or cash. Unsure if they accept cards. read more

it was my first time here, and shushi was able to fit me in for an appointment which i made the same day! she works very precisely and with lots of care. before we started with the eyebrow threading, we talked about possible ways to shape/clean up my eyebrows. she pointed out that my eyebrows were slightly asymmetrical, which was not pointed out in the past. she walked me through how she would thread them to ensure they looked as symmetrical as possible. my eyebrows were cleaned up and slightly thinned out, which i am really happy with! overall, i was very pleased with the care i received here! i will definitely be back for my next appointment. read more

After reading a recommendation comment on Nextdoor randomly, I looked up this spot on Google Reviews and Yelp. I immediately visited Ms Sushila Karki during the week. It was one of the best eye brow shaping experiences I've had. I had nasty experiences at other eyebrow threading places in the past because they did not care if they hurt you. Ms Sushila is extremely proficient and I'm not sure how she makes the shaping so painless. It was also funny because I usually get my brows waxed but unfortunately the last attempt left my eyebrows in two completely different shapes. Ms Sushila pointed that out and it was quite hilarious that I was running around with two different eyebrows for months LOL. I forgot how defined eyebrows can get with a expert eye brow threading. With years of experience under her belt, Shushi is someone I can trust to take good care of my brows. My first visit here, she took the time to get to know me and understand how I preferred my eyebrows to look. She was very informative! She not only threads my eyebrows with precision to my liking, but she also takes the time to explain everything she's doing and provides advice on how to care for them. She makes me feel like we're just old friends catching up each time I visit. :) She's appointment based, however it's quite easy for me to text or call her to set up an appointment and she's been able to squeeze me in for same / next day appointments. I've been searching for months for a new brow place ever since I moved away from my go-to place. I called Shushi asking if she was accepting walk-ins since the website says that she requires appointment. She picked up my call right away and was able to take me in right away. She's located in a salon next to Sendai Sushi in case you ever get confused! I definitely did but walked right in. I was about 10 mins early to the time I said I'd come in but she got started on my brows right away. She was super gentle on my brows. She told me that she can see ingrowns from plucking and advised me not to pluck anymore. I've never had any brow person tell me that before and sometimes I can't even tell myself even when I'm looking closely to get rid of stragglers. She fixed my brows to make them as even as possible because I went months without proper threading. She put aloe afterwards without me having to ask. I'd definitely recommend coming to Shushi.
