I started going to Simple Hair in 2014 for Japanese hair straightening, and I've been going back every year since. As I've gotten older and started getting more gray hair, they also help with touching up my roots too and I continue to trust them every time! What really stands out to me is their consistency. After all these years, they are just as professional as they were when I first started going. They're always on time, their standards have remained high, and the quality of their work has never gotten sloppy or gone downhill. That says a lot about a business, especially after 12 years. V and Bella are both amazing. They're knowledgeable, experienced, and genuinely know what they're doing. There's a reason I've stayed with Simple Hair for so many years. Inflated Pricing, Poor Haircut, and Zero Accountability…read more I came in for a haircut and a single-process color and was significantly overcharged. After getting home, I reviewed the pricing on your website and realized the charges did not align with your posted rates. I was charged $230 for color for a basic, all-over brown, single-process service. There was nothing corrective, custom, or advanced about it. Your website clearly lists full color at $150, making this an unjustified $80 upcharge. I was also charged $60 for a haircut that amounted to little more than a trim, despite your website listing haircuts at $55. Even worse, the haircut itself was poorly executed. The stylist did not use straight shears at all and relied exclusively on thinning shears at the ends, leaving my hair uneven, wispy, and visibly damaged. The result looks unprofessional and careless--my hair genuinely looked better before the appointment. I contacted the salon directly to give them the opportunity to address this privately and resolve the issue. They chose not to respond. That lack of professionalism and accountability is extremely concerning, especially given the clear discrepancy between the pricing charged and the pricing advertised. Between the inflated charges, the substandard quality of the work, and the complete lack of response, I was overcharged by $85 for a service that fell far below acceptable standards. This experience reflects deceptive pricing practices and a disregard for customer satisfaction. I would strongly caution others to verify pricing and think carefully before booking.

She listened to my concerns and even had suggestions on how to take better care of my hair. She then washed my hair and started snipping away. She cut it medium length and last minute I wanted to cut it shoulder length LOL. I just wanted to start all over again as my hair grows pretty fast anyways. She was so sweet and didn't even mind that I wanted to cut more off last minute. When I tell you she took her time with my hair, she took her time! My was so easy to talk to that it felt like I knew her forever. I can honestly say that I'll be back to see her for all future hair cuts and trim touch-ups! My former hairdresser retired and I went looking for a new person when I met Jenny. I've always had trouble getting my hair cut properly and she did an excellent job. As an excellent side benefit she also does manicures and pedicures. I was only game for the manicure. I use my hands extensively for my work and after her manicure they were very happy, relaxed and out of pain. Because of this I have followed her to her new business that she just opened. I'm so glad I decided to continue going to CN Beauty & Spa because Jenny is an absolutely wonderful hairdresser. My nails had gel polish done at the hair and nail salon in Great mall and the gel polish was peeled after a week, I was so mad so I went to CN hair and nails to have them fixed. Jenny was very nice and patient to redo all my gel nails and so far after 10 days they are still look very good. I highly recommend CN hair and nails!!! My friend told her several times that it was painful, and the tech simply responded, "I know," but continued anyway. She eventually pulled so hard that part of my friend's natural nail came off and started bleeding. What was even more upsetting was that she didn't apologize or show any concern. Instead, she told us, "If you remove easy, you don't come here." The whole situation felt extremely careless and unprofessional, especially since my friend repeatedly told her she was in pain. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this place.

My mom also got a pedicure from Hannah with regular nail polish for $27. The service was quite speedy even though their chairs were almost full. We will be coming back to Hannah whenever we are in the area. Highly recommended.

If hairstylist putting you down for appointments and is late for appointments for 30+ minutes each time (and don't even apologize for the delay) would frustrate you, this is truthfully not the salon for you. I wish they would value their customers' time. Sometimes it really feels like the appointment structure here works just like doctor visits. You can call ahead to make appointments, but there's no guarantee your stylist will be at the salon on the day of your appointment. When you're lucky, you'll receive a phone call the day of to notify you that your stylist will be absent for your appointment. If you're unlucky, you'll find out when you arrive that another stylist will have to help you because your regular stylist is not in town. The skill of a stylist is worthless to me unless he/she knows the importance of honoring appointment times. I've stopped coming here for a while because I was tired with appointment issues. The salon I go to now is pricier but I no longer have to wait unnecessarily for my stylist because she doesn't double book herself like this place does.
