Came here based on a recommendation from a friend and it met all expectations! It had been 1+ year since I had a haircut so there was a lot of hair to work with. Jenny knew exactly what to do, went through 3 layers of hair to get the perfect layered look, thinned out my hair, and styled it nicely afterwards. I made an appointment 1 week in advance so there was no wait, but she takes walk-ins as well (though you may have to wait). Would recommend! read more

Ok, I do admit, at the end my hair looked fine, but I faced some issues along the way. First of all, like some people said, if you don't speak Vietnamese, communication is going to be a struggle. I wanted curtain bangs + front layers; she did neither. Second, I wasn't very fond of the way she pushed me around while she worked. Also, although I gave her a specific hairstyle, the hair stylist cut my hair according to her personal opinion, which might be helpful sometime, but is also a very upsetting situation. [0 STAR] My boyfriend and I went to this salon. JENNY the owner of the salon she cut my hair. She gave me a real quick cut and the result picture on the bottom, unfinished & horrible. Aslo my boyfriend got a haircut by an elder lady and she apparently don't know how to use a trimmer. He got two cut from it. And i told her that she cut him, then she said cause his skin is too white and thin that's why. We are really mad and disappointed. We don't recommend anybody getting a haircut here. read more

Went here for a manicure with gels. My naiks started peeling in a week. Usually my gels last 2 to 3 weeks. Won't be coming back.

This place is Awful. Jenny who did a straightening on my hair burn my hair. She did not know what she was doing. She put a strong chemical in my hair that burnt it. I told her many time my hair does not look right and all she said it's ok that's how it's suppose to look. Then she burn my ear twice with a straightener. The after math was very disappointing. My hair was super dry and burn. And she still took my money. She was all in for the money not trying to help me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND JENNY to do your hair. Bad service. read more

We were driving to Palo Alto, the kids decided they want to have a donut. We made a quick turn in Milpitas following Google Maps for a donut place. As we were going to the donut shop, there was a haircutting place next to it. I said"I need a haircut, you need a donut, I need a haircut." As the kids had their donut, I had a haircut by a wonderful, pretty lady. My haircut took less time than donut eating by the kids. I'm particular about my haircut. I worked as a clothes designer, scissors are a part of my hand, it's a tool in my hand. The way she managed the scissor, as a part of her hand. I immediately felt a trust to let her cut my hair, not much I had to say to her. She read me and cut me the style I like. I came out and told the kids"You better get in there and cut your hair, because I am not cutting your hair anymore." I have two boys, they aren't happy with anybody unless I do their hair. Finally I found a place that my kids and I are happy to drive from Tracy to Milpitas to have a haircut. She's real good. I had an amazing experience at CN Beauty & Spa. This was my first time here, so I was a little worried but I was very pleased with everything. The first stylist who sat me asked me what type of haircut I would like and I showed her some pictures. She looked and told me right away that my hair type (straight and thin) and the cut I wanted was a little out of her comfort zone as she specializes more so in older women's hair/curly hair. She told me she wanted me to be happy, so she handed me over to Jenny who has more experience with my hair. I am very appreciative of her honesty and found what she said to be very sweet. Jenny was also very sweet. She was very attuned to what I wanted and asked questions throughout the cut to make sure I was happy with the length and evenness. She spent a lot of time on my hair and was very attentive. She even gave me some at-home tips on how to get my hair to look exactly like the picture. The price was also very good. Other places have charged much more for the same cut. I personally felt like the cut was worth more than what was charged considering how exceptional the service was and how much time Jenny spent fine-tuning my hair. Overall, I am really happy with my cut and my time here. Everyone was very nice, sweet, and professional. I definitely plan on making this my regular place and recommend CN Beauty & Spa to everyone!!
