I am blown away by how awesome this dealership was and how easy they were to work with. When I saw how low their price was online for a code orange Raptor, I thought "there must be something wrong with it." I reached out to Marvin Lucero. He immediately responded and was quick to answer all of my questions, even getting down under the truck to send me tons of pictures. I live out of state, which I thought would complicate things. I was wrong. Marvin drove the truck 45 minutes, each way, to my brother's house to have him check it out for me. When it came to negotiating the deal/trade, Marvin and the sales manager, George, were so reasonable and easy to work with. I told them what I wanted, and they basically said "Done! This is the second time I've done business with one of Karl's establishments. First experience was with Plaza Cycle (Which Karl owns) and the salespeople were rude and very unprofessional. Needless to say, I went somewhere else to buy my new snowmobile. This time I was in the market for a newer used truck and the one I was looking for was hard to find. Had this trim level of Chevy been easier to find I would have bought from somewhere else. Karl had two on his lot so I thought I would give his establishments one more try. I was lied to by the gentleman in financing (I even went there with my own financing) and the sales manager Dillon Tran. Dillon was the worst. Everyone knows that car dealers lie, and some is to be expected but these people were really bad. When I found out Dillon was related to the sales manager at National Auto Plaza (The absolute worst car dealer in the history of car dealers) it all made sense. So, if you absolutely need to buy from this dealership, go when Dillon is not there. Otherwise, I would strongly suggest buying from someone else. read more

This dealer provides terrible service and then rips you off on the parts pricing. I scheduled a repair showed up, was told they could not accommodate me as the individual I scheduled the repair with did not log it into the system. Showed up a second time, and they again could not service one of the repair items, this time due to "lack of staff" - they took care of the second item but substantially overcharged me on the part. This is all pretend to care about people and customers. The dealership is a total rip off. Don't trust these people. I bought a brand new car from them earlier this year. After 800 miles on it, brake problems arose. They kept the car from June 20th and couldn't get parts for well over 30 days. And they didn't communicate with us and created all kinds of issues and problems about a loaner whilst our car was in the shop. we had to enact the lemon law. They just left us alone to deal with GM and have not offered their support at all. Completely distanced themselves from the problem. We're still waiting for almost $60k for reimbursement on what we paid them for a lemon. And we had spent approx $2k on mays and snow tires for this car on which we are also out of pocket. Just yesterday their general manager Cody, offered us $450 for these out of pocket expenses and told me that from his standpoint the matter is closed and I just need to deal with GM. They couldnt give a crap. Don't trust these guys for a second. So, they'll take your money but they'll do nothing to stand behind the sign on their building. Bad people! read more

I have had to two minor things. First, my car key FOB had a low battery. A week later my software update for my Jeep Grand Cherokee failed. Both required me to come in the dealership. In both cases the service department greeted me quickly even though I had no appointment , fixed the issue in 10 to 15 minutes. The best part was they did not charge me for either repair. My Jeep is over five years old. This is the most personal and professional service I have ever gotten from any dealership. read more

Dealer sells lemons to out of state customers knowing that Utah is a no lemon law state. Was sold a 17 BMW 340i that was promised in good standing condition and fully inspected. Had the car shipped from Utah to NY and when it arrived within 12 hours the entire clutch and Flywheel assembly needed to be replaced, a $5,000 job. Had a local BMW dealer run codes to find out that all the known error codes where wiped clean by the selling dealer prior to me taking delivery. They refused to help me in anyway shape or form. Run away from the dealership at all costs and for that matter just don't buy from Utah. read more

Basic service, no car wash or interior detail with full dealership prices. Being the only Chevrolet dealership in Park City, I get the feeling they don't feel the need to go above or beyond. Can't tell you how much wasted time I've spent getting service for my newer Silverado. Bad communication and difficult to get someone to call you back. So, I set up a service, first time customer and now last time customer. Guess they don't get to sell me the 3500 Z71 I was looking at. First, didn't have my service notes correct, bad sign out the gate. Then after telling me over the phone that they had a loner or service shuttle, they didn't. We're taken our '94 Roadtrek (Chevy G30 van) into Mike Hale for mechanical work twice now with good results. To be fair they missed something the first time but when we took it back in, they found the original problem and fixed it with no labor charges. I've worked with KC in the service department both times and found that he goes the extra mile to make sure I'm pleased with the outcome and experience. They had my vehicle in there shop 3 times didn't resolve any of the issues and they had it for 2 1/2 months with no communication we had to call every time. The tech broke the door panel and didn't say anything and just gave it back to us and then lied to GMC and said it was a faulty part which was a lie so that's warranty fraud. They also slammed our door on a lift and gave it back to us not wanting to fix it because as per Jacob the service manager that would cost to much money. They lied about submitting to GMC for a repair and said GMC declined it and they didn't even talk to GMC because now it is somewhere else getting fixed and GMC approved the repair right away and I called GMC and they said they never got pictures so the service manager is a liar. They verified our transmission issues and said they couldn't do anything about it and it's an issue in the valve body . They were doing a repair for a seal that was allowing water to get through and did not clean the water spots and left greasy finger prints all over the head liner so now GMC is getting a new head liner for it because the stains will not come out. There workman ship is horrible they break things , dent things, and leave customers vehicles nasty after working on them I do not ever recommend going to this dealer also because the service manager Jacob lied to our face about everything they are not honest people this was the worst service I have ever had . The techs they have there shouldn't even own a wrench and the service manager needs to be a greater at Walmart because he is horrible . read more

Great service. I service my Sierra here all the time. Very timely, accommodating and nice. There was one service when they forgot to give me run down on all inspection details but they might have been too busy so its fine. I have had after market lights installed here and it was a job well done. Not the cheapest for after market install but still beats having to go down to salt lake. I had had a chance to chat with the sales guys few times while i waited and i have to tell you it does not feel like the usual car sales passive aggressive manipulative tactics being played on you whatsover. Lost our transmission on our 2004 Suburban while towing a trailer on our way home from a vacation in Yellowstone. Phil over at Mike Hale Chevrolet helped out our family immensely by getting three of his mechanics to drop our transmission while shipping over a re-manufactured one. 2.5hrs later and we were back on the road. His guys stayed late for us and we are very grateful for getting us back on the road in such a short time. read more

I don't drive the car that was aligned every day. Especially in bad weather. Which we pretty much had for a straight month after my alignment. I did notice the car was pulling immediately upon leaving the dealership but it is a sizable sedan and it was very windy that day. The car sat for over two weeks before it was driven again. Upon which I noticed it was still pulling and the steering wheel wasn't even centered. It said at about 355°. The car had less than 100 miles put on it since the alignment and I took it to my normal service center and had snow tires put on. I had them check the alignment again for me and it was so far out they were beyond shocked that I had had an alignment done in the last 30 days. Of course I called and was told there is nothing they can do for me. SHOCKER!!! So I had my normal service provider realign my car, properly this time, and will be filing with the BBB and Atty. Gen. The service manager deals with the customers directly, Mike Hale personally greeted me, and they made me feel like a celebrity. I bought a used car ( 2011 Avalanche) from them recently. I had a great help from the sales people. A bad thing I noticed is a week later I had to change the brakes. (450 dls) They knew about the brakes the only thing they did was they changed the pads, but not the rotors.( they sold the car knowing about the problem.) Something bad could have happened if I didn't change the brakes myself. I mentioned the brakes to the service department. From my prospective it looked like they really didn't care at all. They just gave me an excuse. My advice to anyone who might want to buy a car from here is check the whole car carefully. read more

Lost our A/C enroute to Park City from Sun Valley, Idaho. When one is far from home and knows no local automobile service companies it's a little troubling. "Who can we trust?" After two days driving in 98+ degree temperatures we were eager to get the A/C repaired. I asked for advice at our hotel and was told we should go to Salt Lake City for reliable service. Instead I searched for a Park City dealer and found the Mike Hale website. Mike Hale Chevrolet looked good to me. I called and spoke to the Service Adviser, Shane. Shane asked me to bring our car in and he thought they could help us. We dropped our car off and Shane arranged for transportation to Main Street area. A few hours later, Shane called, advised us our car was repaired and arranged for our transportation back to the dealership. The young woman,Terry, who shuttled us to town back was very polite, informative and professional. She even washed our car while we were in town. We couldn't be more satisfied with the professionalism and prompt, friendly service at Mike Hale Chevrolet. read more
