I've supported this shop for a few years now, but after my recent experience, I'm done. I purchased a set of bearings for $50 after they were recommended by the clerk. The bearings were installed on my board without giving me the original packaging, and my old bearings were handed back to me wrapped in a paper towel. On top of that, my receipt listed the item as a vague "custom item." In hindsight, this feels like an intentional move to hide the brand and prevent me from looking up what I actually bought. After being disappointed with their performance, I removed a wheel to investigate and discovered the same bearings are sold online for $19.50-$21.99. A 150% markup is absurd--especially with zero transparency. I fully support local businesses, but this felt like a blatant rip-off. It's frustrating and disappointing to feel taken advantage of by a shop I've trusted for years. Unfortunately, this was the last straw. I won't be returning. read more

We did henna with this shop. She was super knowledgeable, and this is real henna that she uses. She free handed no stencils our henna. Service was amazing. Price is fair. Her selection doesn't involve stencils. You can see for yourself. After the henna dries and peels, you have to wash it, or it will smudge. read more

My company hired Amanda, the owner Of Karma, for an event we had on location. It was last minute when I found her and I'm so glad her calendar was open to do our event. She was a hit!! And I got Kudos for saving the day!! Amanda was very friendly and she was engaged with our associates. She did all her work free style- no stencil used! She's gifted. She was knowledgeable about the henna history, products and design. I'm glad she makes her own henna ink using all natural plant base. That makes the difference between how long the henna design will last. If it's all natural, it's expected to last 2 weeks max. Other chemicals use in the ink can last a month. Amanda educated us on that, and that is much appreciated! Anyways she was such a big hit, I'm sure we will be using her soon for other events! Walked in just looking but found myself in skates , and fell absolutely in love ! Lex was amazing she knew what I needed and wanted like she knew me forever ! She was also so sweet and patient with my two daughters , finding them knee, elbow and wrist pads in their sizes ,favorite colors and showing them have to use it . The most laid back purchase I have ever did! I wanna go back and get custom skates...my youngest wants a pair when we go back for her birthday so we will be returning very soon! Went in over the weekend to get a henna tattoo and was VERY satisfied with the results. She did it FREE HAND and it came out perfect. Horrible Store!!! This place claims they specialize in longboards hints the name Henna and Longboards. However they sell really old long boards that will eventually break after 1-2 rides. My friend bought a board from here for $150 and it broke within 2 rides. These rides weren't anything crazy they were regular rides on the sidewalk. When boards break that fast it usually means the store had them for a very long time and never took longterm care for them. Excellent henna artists. There are a bunch of henna shops on the strip but this is the best. Great artist and can do anything you ask. My significant other wanted something for the Rob Zombie concert so we just went in with an image on the phone and Karma just free-handed it on in no time. Looked great! We made sure to let it dry and taker the necessary care. I do wish it stayed on longer before it started to fade but that's Henna for you. I recommend passing up the other shops and just head here. read more

This shop is very nice and advertises with having a certification for Henna. The people were nice at first but later seemed fake. The girl doing my henna seemed to be in training because she had to redo my tattoo twice and wiped it with alcohol twice before she gave up and asked someone else to do it. I was satisfied with how it turned out at the moment but hours later the outline of the first girl's attempts came through and ruined the look. I was charged $30 which I wouldn't have minded to pay if it actually lasted the 3-4 weeks they had told me and if the errors were not visible. It has been 5 days and it is already 50% faded. Before I walked out of the shop I was hesitant because the lines were light and thin and asked if she was sure it was going to look fine afterwards and she looked annoyed and said she's sure. I showed her the parts and she said I bumped it but I had my arm elevated the whole time I was there and was being careful. She went over some of the areas and I was happy. They suggest 45 mins before removal and I waited 1hr to wash off. Decided to buy some THC Gummies while there and they didn't even work. Tried 1 at a time then 2, but three really doesn't have you feeling anything. Tasted and smelled like regular gummies. Everything was disappointing. My bf got the same henna as me but had thicker lines and his is fading as well but not as bad as mine that had light lines. The price is not worth it. read more

Dear diary. We headed for vacation three days ago. The wife left her plugs at home so she has been walking around like a bushwomen the last couple days. To day we walked the strip looking for a pair of plugs for her to make look good. As we walked in and straight out of most shops. One of them Karma caught our eye. It was a cool shop with someone getting henna and someone who just had her hand done. I wanted to get it done but found out that you can't put your hand down your pants for a hour or so, so that was out for me. But I did find a really cool selection of colored contact lenses. From just changing you color to black puts they had a bunch to choose from. I took the zombie white eyes and he through in a case for them. They also had a very wide and good selection of CBD edibles. They have gummy candies too. If your looking at getting a skate board to roll down the strip or just ad some henna to my life I think I will have to stop there again one day soon this summer. P.S. Mom said stop drinking before the sun comes up. read more

"Holy awesome Henna, art BATMAN!" I am pretty hard on businesses when they offer a service and don't even bother to deliver. In this instance, I was pleased with the "coolness" of the shop, as WELL as the service of the artist that completed my Henna design: LEX! First of all, she is so professional and engaging that I easily transfixed into totally enjoying my experience. The music played lightly in the background, and Lex did her thing: FREEHAND. My Henna design was unique and held a particular spiritual meaning to me. Lex listened to my request and was able to deliver. She educated me on how to care for the design and was a joy to talk to. So the staff at Karma are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I have had henna many times before and I knew when the artist began the design that the henna was way too liquified and began dripping. I knew it was not like any other henna formula I have ever had. I was also told it would take up to 10 minutes to dry, in which my henna still was not fully dry after an hour. Once it was dry i peeled it off and the pigment was very nice for the rest of the night. Mind you i got this henna done around 7pm and then went back to my hotel and did nothing but lay in bed. the next morning when i woke up i looked at my henna only to notice it was fading. I was told this henna would last up to 2 weeks. Everytime i get henna's they never, never fade this much. It has not even been 24 hours and my henna is practically gone. I've seen their other designs and they are talented artist, but i think they should improve their formula, this is frustrating. the henna in the picture would cost 35$ but it was reduced to 25$. read more

I'll give props to the girl who did henna for me and my three friends because she got it done really fast, it was really pretty, and the ink they used is naturally based, but I was kind of disappointed with the results. The girl said if we used the black/blue instead of the traditional henna ink it would last 2 to 3 weeks. Mine barely lasted 1! By the fifth day, the henna on my fingers was almost completely gone. And just a tip for those of you out there: dont swim with henna if you want it to last long. On the seventh day I went swimming for about four or so hours in a salt water pool. It looked like I'd drawn it on with sharpee the previous day because of how fake and faded it looked. On the bright side, I got many compliments when my henna was still new and fresh at the beginning of the week. Everyone loved it. And one last flop to end this review, half of mine was crooked! It didnt line up with the rest of the design and it was sideways on my arm. So, overall, paying a steep 35 bucks (I've heard designs start at 15 dollars and go up, but she never told me the price and there was none listed. I guess I could have asked but still I didnt think it would be that expensive. I only found out the price when I was being dinged up at the cash register) for a design that was crooked, but still overall pretty, but ultimately one that ended up lasting a third of the time it was promised.... We went and checked out a bunch of shops before we got hennas for the girls and myself. They said they last two weeks unless you don't get a real henna and theirs were real. We got five hennas between three of us and after only three days only one is barely there. We did exactly what they told us as far as care.
