In dealing with this organization for over a year now, it is my impression that they put more time…read moreand effort into fundraising than they do into finding buddies for handicapped people. They interviewed my handicapped brother over a year ago. After the interview, he went home feeling very optimistic with a big smile on his face. I have not seen him that happy in a long time. However, his happiness has now turned to disappointment, due to the fact that this organization keeps telling us they should have no problem finding a buddy for him and then they don't follow-up nor do they keep to timelines they setup. We're now working with our second representative, the first one was promoted to a new position. She put more time and effort into the email she sent us regarding her promotion than she ever put into communicating with us regarding the status of our search for a buddy. Her replacement seems to be following in her footsteps. She told us in December of 2020 that she would get back to us by the end of the year. That never happened and she didn't bother following-up with us after the first of the year. I understand this is a volunteer, non-profit organization and that we are in very difficult, unprecedented times, however, at the very least they should have integrity and follow-up with what they tell people. Please be realistic when setting expectations and don't give handicapped people false hope and then leave them hanging with empty promises.

They were prompt and professional in those dealings. The unfortunate part of this transaction is that the movers chipped our concrete stairs on the way down, one 4 x 2 inch section and the next step just a nick. They were aware of it as they removed the piece from the porch. When the business owner got in touch with my husband and asked him to leave them a good review, my husband mentioned this chip. No response. I reached out through their business website to also tell them, and crickets. This disappointed me and was not very professional.

I thought my husband had paid so did nothing right away. He said no one had asked him for a credit card. That evening they tried to call me five times in less than 10 minutes. I was busy and didn't answer the phone. Next thing you know, I got a message, threatening to bring my stuff back and put it in my condo hallway. This, by the way, is less than eight hours after they picked it up. The invoice mentioned check so checks take some time to be delivered by US mail When I tried to call back, I got a voicemail several times. So I sent them a voicemail of my credit card number, which made me very nervous. Anyway, I would not do business with this group because it sounded like the man was inebriated or else whyon earth would they be so afraid of not getting payment in such a short time.

She was very nice and knew how to dress me. She was a very classy and conservative lady. The things they give you are well worth the wait. However I stayed optimistic. The clothes, shoes, etc were decent. Staff picks out clothes for you then go from there. Kate was good and passionate at it, great job. The atmosphere in the room dampered when this tall, big-haired woman(assuming the boss) walked in. She didn't make the customer/client feel welcomed, my observation. She didn't say hello, how's everything going, or even smiled when looked upon us. She just stood there, looking around. While holding her eyeglasses downward, she asked me about my appointment being over. Which was unexpected, because my back was facing her therefore not knowing she was talking to me; unprofessional and rude. She made me feel uncomfortable and rushed out. I also noticed she rushed out another lady, before me. If there's a time set for the customer/client, please inform them. Your there to help women, therefore could you not do it with an uncaring mien spirit. Dress up your spirit lady.
