Quick process, they make it easy. Text/email situation setting up a time for the tow company to show up was minorly clunky, but it worked.

AP TOWING AND RECOVERY, INC was great! Same day pick up and I didn't even have to be there when they came. Very happy with my experience.

I'll be honest -- I was pleasantly surprised to visit, but not necessarily because of the items. When the store first opened that morning, it was already pretty messy. Compared to other Goodwill locations I've visited, this one felt much less organized. The store itself was clean, but the racks were chaotic. Clothes were hanging off the racks or scattered, and several employees walked past without straightening things up, which was a little frustrating. I'm used to Goodwills having neat aisles where you can browse comfortably, and this one just didn't have that same level of organization. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due. One employee who stood out was Yareli, the cashier. I wanted to buy an item that required an electrical component, and she was kind enough to go through the electrical section to see if she could find the piece I needed. She couldn't locate it, but when I mentioned that I had the part in my car, she kindly allowed me to step outside and retrieve the piece I needed and ahe held the item at the front. I went out to my car, got the adaptor and came back and tested it, and the light worked perfectly. That small act of kindness really made the experience better. To Yareli's manager: that's exactly how an employee wins over customers -- through patience, kindness, and genuine helpfulness. Prices are a little higher at thia location, but still competitive.

I usually do not like to talk about the good one does, but in this case, its more-so for the fact that others can join in and help them out when the need arises. If a teenager has to do volunteer hours this is the perfect opportunity to do so. I was put in the kitchen to cut up veggies and help make the GIGANTIC VAT of spaghetti. I mean this thing fed the 188 people we served just that afternoon. Seriously, it was something of a feat to see this. I didn't think it was actually going to feed everyone in the hall, but wow if it did! I helped prep the salad, spaghetti and even the desserts. I have to admit, I was so happy I went. And although it was hard work, the workers made it fun and exciting if that can be stated. They are a non for profit organization that gets donations of food from all over, and just recently started getting food donated from Aldi, YES ALDI! 7 days a week they feed the hungry and NEVER turn anyone away. Some guy (who I heard is a regular) came in with his 2 liter of soda already ready for the nights food. And you would think that a they would serve small portions, but no, these portions were fit for a football player. I mean seriously big portions. Then at the end of the night, (Food is served from 5-6 and stops after that), a take home bag is given to everyone which could consist of produce and a whole bag is what they give. Not one pack, a WHOLE BAG. Nutritious foods that some of the participants probably would never get access too. Not to mention that I was told by one of the cooks that people from far away south come for this and they are fine with that. What a wonderful thing to see, and I hope that this review will encourage others to volunteer their time at least once, to give back something to the communities that so need it. Parking down the block is free on Paulina, but if you park in front, its metered. I choose this so be prepared.

I love thrifting and buying second hand and was so excited to see a new option close to me. I slipped my plans for Thrifty Thrift in with some other errands on a Sunday. They are open 12-5 on Sundays and it was between 12pm and 1pm that I stopped by. They had a sign out on the sidewalk that said they had parking, but I'm not sure what parking is actually for them. I parked in a lot that was just East of the store (the direction I was traveling). It had snowed in the few days prior to my visit and Thrifty Thrift did not have any of the sidewalk in front of it's store shoveled or salted. I'm not sure if it's not required or they think customers won't appreciate it or maybe I just happened to be by on a day that they didn't have enough staff to get it done, I'm not sure. Inside this store feels very much like a cross between a flea market stand and a small second hand store. It's relatively tight inside with all available space used. Every surface has more items available. There are clothes racks in the back, they are too tight for 2 people to look at the same row at once. This is a place that somehow felt like it had so much and nothing all at once. If you're a thrifter, this is definitely a spot you need to dig through and if you find what you're looking for it was exactly perfect and if you didn't find what you were looking for, then you found nothing. IYKYK. There was one man working at the front, and I was greeted. He was not overbearing and did not speak to me again, and I did not have any questions to ask. I didn't purchase anything on this stop so can't speak to overall price of items. I'm not sure this will be a stop for me regularly, but if you're looking for a particular thrifted good, this could definitely be an option. I do always appreciate a non-corporate option for second hand buying. Thank you, Thrifty Thrift!

I think they're a fairly new establishment which opened over a year ago. I've gone twice in the past month. The prices are crazy excellent where you can find quality clothes if you dig deep enough. Clothes are available for all sexes and age ranges. They don't just sell clothes either. There's a good variety of things for sale like basic housewares, accessories, music, movies and comic books. I even saw a few items like tool sets, a set of golf clubs and a vintage Nintendo Cube set for sale. On both occasions, I spent an hour here and never left empty-handed. Look out for their 50% color tag sales that are generally offered daily. That's where you'll find the biggest savings. The only downside is that they don't have a dedicated changing room but they offer their single occupancy bathroom as their changing room. Disclaimer, the bathroom/changing room did not smell pleasant. It had a strong sewage stench. Hopefully their bathroom sitch gets fixed with time. At least they offer poo spray in the bathroom. If you have a sensitive nose, you may want to avoid. Another disclaimer - All items are final sale. They give no returns and no store credit is offered. They accept cash and card payments. There is free parking in the public lot to the right of the store. Currently open Tuesday - Sunday but check Yelp or call for their store hours. Happy shopping!
