On the day of the replacement, David, arrived right at the beginning of the estimated window (how often does that happen?) and completed the water heater replacement in just about an hour. While working on my water heater he was talking with another potential client and I was impressed that he was honest and upfront about his recommendation for replacing a solar/electric water heater system, and the pros/cons of what he was suggesting. Alan showed up on time, installed the new water heater, hauled the old one away....and we are done! I called several companies in Tucson and the range in price for the same thing was 2,000 to 4,000 dollars installed. That seemed high...(really high). I priced water heaters (gas) and the range was 500 to 600 dollars for a water heater. Also, what is is with the contractors and vendors the do not have an outgoing message to see if you are reaching the write company or not. VERY unprofessional. I want to know who I am calling. God forbid that they answer the phone with their business name. Just hello! I always ask, is this so and so company? I have a three-time rule now, you ignore me then I am moving on as it is obvious you do not need business or a job. At least let a potential client know upfront, you are either too busy or not interested then provide excuses and lies you cannot meet up too. When I had my showroom in CA, customer service was performed to all our clients, hence why were slammed due to our response. Never EVER leave a client or potential client hanging. It is rude, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. I told my employees ALWAYS return a call and never lie to the clients. It is harder to remember lies than the truth. Sadly, this new generation does not understand this concept or of customer service skills or professionalism. Hell, they do not even know how to sign their name in cursive. Very sad.

But He was able to fit me in for an appointment at a time that actually worked for me and I didn't have to take off from work for. Not only that but he was early! He communicates well and let me know when he was on the way and explained what the game plan was before he actually did it. His price was affordable and the quality of service was impeccable. We couldn't use the toilet, sinks, shower or washer. We had to move out for a short time because it was not livable in that condition. I called a different plumber and they came out and it did not help at all. In fact, it seemed the problem got worse. I called them back and they refused to come back and said they were absolutely sure it was a city issue. I called the city and they came out and said it's a plumbing issue. I started calling every plumber I could find a number for and NO ONE answered. I left messages with every single one of them and to this day, I still never received a call back. I felt defeated. I cried, I prayed, I cried some more, then I got a hold of a friend and asked him if he knew of any plumber that would actually answer the phone and he told me to call Erik at CTR Plumbing. I called and he ACTUALLY ANSWERED even though he was in the middle of cooking dinner. I told him what was going on and I literally cried on the phone because I felt so defeated and he was literally my last hope. Erik reassured me that he will find the problem and will be able to confirm if it's my responsibility or the city and fix it if it's my responsibility. Today, he came out leaving his family plans behind to help me. Erik found the issue and actually fixed it. He used his snake and camera equipment to find the issue. There was a really bad clog 36 feet in. He was able to clear the clog and he noticed a lot of build up throughout the entire line. He then scrapped the entire line from my house to the city main line and cleared it out Including the clog. Erik worked 6 hours on this crazy weekend job to make sure it was done and done correctly. From beginning to end, Erik would stop and show me on his screen what each issue was and explained everything in detail. I saw with my own eyes what was going on in the sewer line. If he sees something that is a city issue he video records it, takes pictures and will contact them. Erik shows proof and educates you. After he was done, he recorded a video of the line showing the cleared line and he showed it to me. The difference between the before and after is mind boggling. That sewer line was in horrible shape before the clean out! I am forever grateful for Erik! He is literally a godsend, miracle and answer to my defeated tearful prayers! Erik has a lot of knowledge and experience and he is a genuine honest man. If you need plumbing help at your residence, please call Erik with CTR Plumbing. You WILL NOT regret it. He will get the job done and he will do it correctly. My only regret is that I didn't call him sooner. He will forever be my #1 go to from now on.
