If you are needing a PLUMBER, you need to call CTR Plumbing, LLC This week has been horrible. I've been having plumbing issues and everything kept backing up into the shower. We couldn't use the toilet, sinks, shower or washer. We had to move out for a short time because it was not livable in that condition. I called a different plumber and they came out and it did not help at all. In fact, it seemed the problem got worse. I called them back and they refused to come back and said they were absolutely sure it was a city issue. I called the city and they came out and said it's a plumbing issue. I started calling every plumber I could find a number for and NO ONE answered. I left messages with every single one of them and to this day, I still never received a call back. I felt defeated. I cried, I prayed, I cried some more, then I got a hold of a friend and asked him if he knew of any plumber that would actually answer the phone and he told me to call Erik at CTR Plumbing. I called and he ACTUALLY ANSWERED even though he was in the middle of cooking dinner. I told him what was going on and I literally cried on the phone because I felt so defeated and he was literally my last hope. Erik reassured me that he will find the problem and will be able to confirm if it's my responsibility or the city and fix it if it's my responsibility. Today, he came out leaving his family plans behind to help me. Erik found the issue and actually fixed it. He used his snake and camera equipment to find the issue. There was a really bad clog 36 feet in. He was able to clear the clog and he noticed a lot of build up throughout the entire line. He then scrapped the entire line from my house to the city main line and cleared it out Including the clog. Erik worked 6 hours on this crazy weekend job to make sure it was done and done correctly. From beginning to end, Erik would stop and show me on his screen what each issue was and explained everything in detail. I saw with my own eyes what was going on in the sewer line. If he sees something that is a city issue he video records it, takes pictures and will contact them. Erik shows proof and educates you. After he was done, he recorded a video of the line showing the cleared line and he showed it to me. The difference between the before and after is mind boggling. That sewer line was in horrible shape before the clean out! I am forever grateful for Erik! He is literally a godsend, miracle and answer to my defeated tearful prayers! I'm out in Florence, and it's kind of a pain to get contractors out here. Once they here Florence it's like cha-ching, additional trip Charge!! Eric replied to my VM immediately and did not try to jack the price up at all due to where I lived. I had him replace three toilettes, and look at two shower head faucets. The job was done in a timely manner and the cost was about average. I thought the whole point of Yelp is enabling that green "request a quote" button over to the right to greatly simplify contacting the business. I much prefer electronic contact over phone tag and/or stepping away from my desk (my job) to go outside the building to make a personal call because you are only open when I'm at work. Their website contact form doesn't work. I seriously filled out the form more than once. I left a voicemail and they don't return my call (it's been a week now). Pass. I had Erik of CTR Plumbing come out to replace the filters of an R/O system I'd had installed by another fairly well known company. While Erik was working on the filters he noticed we only had a line running to the refrigerator, and not one to the sink. He asked why this was, and I told him that it was because the original worker who installed the system seemed very nervous about drilling through my granite, which in turn made me nervous, so we didn't have it done. We'd just lived with the slow filtered water pressure from the dispenser on our fridge. Erik assured me this was an easy fix for someone who knew how to do it, so we had him drill through the granite and install a spigot right there at the faucet. He did a fantastic job, and it's been so wonderful to be able to fill up water bottles, pots, and the dog's bowl at the sink instead of the fridge. While he worked, Erik was friendly and offered to answer any plumbing questions I had. I mentioned that our water heater had gone out 3 different times in the 5 years we'd lived in the house. Even though it was currently working fine, he offered to take a look at it, and discovered our water softener wasn't grounded correctly, and suggested that might be contributing to the water heater failing. We had him fix this as well, something none of the other plumbers had looked for or noticed before while replacing the broken water heaters. Erik went above and beyond my expectations. His work was fantastic and I will definitely call him again when we need an honest experienced plumber. read more

He diagnosed where the leak was coming from, why the problem occurred, how to fix it and how to prevent any future issues. Erik was knowledgeable, professional and customer service oriented. He wrote a comprehensive report and sent it to our insurance company the same evening of service, as promised. He even gave us advice on a new garbage disposal we had purchased and not yet installed. After reading reviews on the product, we are taking Erik's advise and purchasing a stainless steel disposal and returning the other one. Really thankful to have found my plumber for life. I used roto rooter at first to help us with a leak in the attic and water softener problems. Roto rooter came in and didn't even know what was the issue, but tried to sell us a water conditioner without solving our problem. Roto rooter also referred us to a shady restoration company that racked up our insurance bill. After all of that, I decided to look up yelp and found CTR Plumbing and contacted Erik. He knew the issue over the phone, and came out earlier than scheduled and helped us out with the situation. We had a leaky shower head and some other issues. A previous plumber said it could cost up to $5000 to find and fix a strange odor in the guest bathroom. We called Eric at CTR and he was wonderful. This last weekend, I noticed it was damp around my water heater. After dealing with the outfit my home warranty company sent me to ( different review) I refused their work and started looking for a good plumber on Yelp. I found CTR Plumbing to be in my area and had high reviews, so I gave them a call. Erik answered, gave me a ball park quote to replace the water heater, and said he could be out within an hour. Erik was prompt, professional, friendly, and gladly answered any and all questions that I had. We talked over different options, and he explained those options throughly. He came out, assessed the situation, and said there were actually none of the "extra" issues the other company said needed to be fixed. You HAVE to use this company. I don't say this lightly. Summary: extraordinary service, goes WELL above and beyond what I would consider any other plumber would do, fair pricing, ridiculously fast response time (less then 2 hours my case). I could not recommend this company more highly. Experience: Our water heater was not working. He came out promptly and diagnose the problem as having a bad thermostat and a burned out wire and set out on the repair for a reasonable price. Once he started the repair he realized the the wire had fried all the way back behind the insulation and was toast. It was under warranty so he gave us the info on how to get it set up at Home Depot and he would pick it up and only charge for picking up and installation. Very long story but GE's warranty policy lacks customer service. He ended up getting a refund because they no longer carry GE and the refund didn't cover the cost of the equivalent in the brand they now have($100 difference). So, he went to his supplier and got the brand that Home Depot carried, in the professional series, for the cost of our refund. All of this while only charging as close as he could to the original quote. Ridiculous customer service. He shared that he trains plumbers. Rare trifecta. He was very thorough in explaining what exactly happened, the different ways to fix it, and cost differences. He matched the price the first company gave me, AND he was able to fix it a week sooner. This man works his butt off. This is his own company so he cares about his reputation, AND I'm all about supporting small businesses. He kept me updated via text while he was repairing it (I was at work), and even promptly returned when a second small leak sprung up after he was done. At no charge. He sadly had to dig up our nice grass, but he seemed to care about returning it back to as normal looking as possible. He cares about details. Plumbing issues suck, but I don't feel like I got ripped off. Very comforting feeling. Scheduled an appointment and Erik came out today. He was professional, personable, reasonably priced, and did great work. I had valves that were leaking outside next to the hose which has been an ongoing issue since I purchased this house. The leak recently got pretty bad and was filling a bucket of water per day. Erik walked me through the construction of the set up and showed me that the valve was not actually serving any purpose as it was not connected to anything. He was able to remove the unnecessary valves that were causing the issue. The set up is now much more simple and most importantly, no longer leaking! While Erik was here, I also had him disconnect a second washing machine I had set up in the garage that was no longer in use. From the time I called him, he had a very quick response time (called me back within 5 minutes), came out as scheduled and completed the work. I have used other plumbing services in the past but never felt compelled to write a review. I will be calling him for any future plumbing needs I may have! read more

My home warranty sent out 2 different companies. Both said that I had a problem with my sewer and wanted to fix it for me. One said that there were roots in my line and they would replace a small section. They never provided an official quote, but they were talking about somewhere between $3000 and $5000. The other told me that my whole line needed replaced, as there is a crack running all the way through. They quoted me $10,000. I found CTR on Yelp. I sent a request for a quote to 4 different places. Erik provided me his phone number right away and talked to me about what was going on. He viewed the video I had of the line and told me that there is nothing wrong with my line, but he would need to do a higher quality video to give a final quote. He originally thought that he could do a spot lining inside of the sewer to keep out roots. When he came out, he discovered that the roots are not in my line at all. They are in the city's line! He did discover that my line had become disconnected from the city line. He called the city and worked with them to get things taken care of. The city came out today and confirmed that the issue is on their property. They will reconnect my line to theirs and get the roots out of their line at no cost to me!! I am incredibly grateful to Erik for taking the time to explain what he was seeing in my line and my options the whole way through. My uncles are plumbers in Illinois, and they double checked and agreed with what he was telling me. He is very trustworthy and helpful. I highly recommend him. He does have a travel fee if he leaves the East Valley. I found it worth the fee to have him come out for something so complicated and potentially expensive. read more

When we discovered roots in our shower drain our home warranty company stated that they were impossible to remove and it would cost thousands of dollars to redo the plumbing (even under warranty!). CTR plumbing came to my house around early Feb 2017 in Gilbert, AZ to install pressure regulator, after I learned that the water pressure in my house was very high. I am a new homeowner and I chose CTR plumbing based on the reviews. I talked to Erick on the phone to schedule an appointment and he was very informative. He gave me a price range of $300-$800, based on my plumbing situation and how difficult the job would be. Based on personal experiences with a price range, I was expecting a bill of somewhere around $500-$700. After sending some pictures via text messages, Erick gave me a quote of mid $300. Being as pessimistic as I was, I thought that there will be extra fees and the bill would end up around my initial expectation. Erick showed up, did the job well, finished it quicker than my expectation, and took his time to answer all of my questions. Erick was very friendly and made me feel like I was talking to a long-time friend that really know his stuff, even though that was the first time I met him. I was very satisfied with his work, plus he gave 2 years warranty for both labor & parts. The final price ended up to be the price quote that he told me, without any additional charges. He said he would have told me in advance if there would be anything additional. A job that had an estimate price of $300-$800 ended up costing me mid-$300. Being a new homeowner, I would already be mentally prepared if he charged me around $500-$700. Eric and CTR Plumbing just finished repairing my Rheem Tankless water heater which failed because of a stuck water flow sensor and the job was made more complicated because of some missing piping the original installer didn't know enough to install. Eric took my call in the morning and worked me into the afternoon schedule. He requested photos to help diagnose possible issues; showed up with the necessary parts and stayed on the job until everything was complete and correct. I had hot water last night.
