Every week she learns something new: new styles, materials, and techniques. Sometimes they focus on painting, other times on sculpture or different forms of art. Katia and Sara have both been her teachers, and she has felt happy and supported with all of them. Like with many activities at this age, it took a couple of weeks for her to fully adjust and feel familiar with the environment but consistency made a big difference. As parents, we appreciate seeing her come home excited and proud of what she created. It is easy to notice how much she has progressed over time and we get very excited when we see her project. We also appreciate the communication style of the school. They provide a high-level overview each week of what the kids will be working on, which keeps parents informed without overwhelming us with too much information. On the administrative side, tuition payments and renewals are simple, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful whenever we have had questions or needed help resolving any mistakes on our part. We also love the location. Depending on the day and who is with me, it is easy to wait nearby at the library, a coffee shop, or a restaurant while class is in session.

I grew a lot from this class, and received specific feedback and guidance for my needs. I loved the format of this class and how it challenged me to take on complex subject matters. Whether your child is a budding artist or simply enjoys getting their hands messy, Happy Picasso is an excellent place to nurture their creativity. The studio provides a safe and supportive space for children to experiment, learn, and discover the magic of art. They are also very pretty flexible with rescheduling classes. I knew absolutely nothing going in, but Angie was an incredible instructor and took time with each of us to answer questions and help us with the techniques. I've never been very artistic, but this class actually felt approachable and fun even at my skill level, and I can see it being even more rewarding once you gained more experience. Definitely a good intro to a unique form of art, and you get to bring home something cool that you made yourself in just a few hours! I took the class alone, but it would be a great date activity or with friends! There are a ton of cute restaurants and cafes nearby to make a day of it! So glad I took this class!

Thanks to Richard, I was able to build a strong foundation and gain confidence step by step. After taking two beginner classes and two intermediate classes, I felt ready to become a member, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences. The 24/7 studio access was truly a game changer for me. I especially loved coming in late after regular studio hours and often having the whole studio to myself. It became such a peaceful and creative space for me. I will truly miss Clayroom and the wonderful community there. I only wish they would open another branch in SoCal!
