She explained that I would be charged if there was any damage to the room She questioned whether my dog was a really service animal. I've stayed at the Holiday Inn express before and the fact the matter is, I travel with a backpack and not normal suitcases just because it's easier with my disability. I do say that the room was very nice and the rest of my day was OK. It was just awful on how I was checked in and how I was treated at the desk.

Check-in is at 4 pm but I got these early and decided to try my luck and check in 30 minutes early and was allowed to do so at no charge. Front desk attendant was wonderful from greeting me to explaining how to get to my room and where to park and even apologizing for no upgrades being available. The room was huge, very clean and well taken care of. Because this is an older establishment I was thinking the worst but ended up being impressed. Definitely will be coming back.
