Hi Friends, We have been to Kashin twice now in the past month. On both occasions, the food has been delivered fast and the service is good. Move over Brothers.....Kashin HAS the coldest beer in town. I order the Rose Shrimp dish, with scallops and veggies. We also get the 3 sampler plate. The eggrolls are good two. We ordered on a whim. We ordered the combo appetizer #4 (spring roll, boneless spare ribs, crab ragoon, fried shrimp). It was great! We also ordered the Arizona Maki which was to die for and the Idaho Maki which was also very good. We have never ordered from here before and will order from here again. We're like Norm at Cheers here - regulars for sure. Food is consistant and we are always happy as we can have both Chinese and Japanese cuisine and still stay married. Scorpion bowls are fantastic as well - I hope they are here for awhile it's hard to find good food and service in the area and this place has both. read more

My boyfriend likes to go here since it's close to his house and inexpensive. Honestly, I can take it or leave it. I ordered a mixed drink once, a tropical punch type. It tasted like pure vodka with a drop of pineapple juice I couldn't even finish. The food is passable, but definitely not the best Chinese I've had before. The wait staff isn't really attentive either. They'll take your order, give you your food/bill without saying more than ten words the whole time you're there. If you're really craving Chinese and everywhere else is full, by all means go here. But it's definitely not my first recommendation read more

We order take out here A LOT during the work week and I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed. We usually order the lunch Bento box or the sushi special. The price is unbeatable for the amount of food you get. If you order the lunch Bento, you get the entree, a side, 2 pieces of sushi, soup and a salad all for around 7-8 bucks! With the sushi special, you can get 2 or 3 rolls and that also comes with a soup and salad. The food is always fresh and always tasty. i honestly have no complaints about this place. they forgot to give us salads one times and when I told them about it the next time they gave us extra salads and a small crab rangoon! The service and food are great! I would recommend the Crazy maki and the spicy tuna maki (ordered extra extra spicy)! I only wish they had the Bento box specials for dinner too, but that's not a negative only a suggestion. read more

Every visit, someone in our party has asked her if we did something to piss her off, and she just walks away from the table shaking her head, like WE have the problem. I recently heard that there was a new sushi place opening up so I went out to try it. They have a friendly staff that was attentive even though the place was a little packed. I hope to come back again soon, as I had a pleasant dining experience. Also, 20% off the bill because of their grand opening, so take advantage of this quick lol. The food- well it's great. One of the best places to get it. The service- well- the restaurant is fine. They kind of rush you, not a lot of smiles, but it's not horrible. The bar- well- that's a different story. There is one bartender that is so rude. She made me a mai thai and when I asked why no fruit in it she said because the fruit is for restaurant customers only. Really? Cause they pay the same as I do! This building has seen its fair share of makeovers, starting as a post office until the late 80s, then as a diner in the 90s, and a Vietnamese-Thai fusion restaurant for a short stint in the late 00s. Hooray for arbitrary history lessons of Dracut buildings! The current occupant is a Chinese/Japanese number that offers little in the way of exemplary food or atmosphere, but their consistency in quality keeps me coming back anyway. As I said, there's nothing here that will leave too much of a lasting impression- it's a rather clean, generic looking Chinese restaurant, but it's relatively modern and inoffensive which is more than can be said for other local Chinese spots like LoKai down the street from this place. Ugh. I digress, less-than-impactful decor aside, the food is some standard fare stuff with not much to complain about at all. It's just some decent Chinese food- not the best, certainly not the worst (cough cough LoKai cough cough ). It's consistently made fast and fresh, all things considered, which is a huge plus. Overall, it's a nice place to hang out and enjoy some decent Chinese food. A better interior as well as some overall better service would make it the best in the town, but it's working just fine for what it is now. Oh, and one small tip- if you wanna get lunch or dinner for 2 or 3 people, just order the appetizer combo. As much food as you'd get on a pupu platter for half the cost! read more

It's definitely not my favorite sushi place, but it's pretty good. My two main complaints are that I have run into a couple of not so nice waitresses and I've gotten edamame a couple of times that seemed like it was previously frozen. On the other hand, I've also had decent edamame there and run into very sweet staff, so I guess it all depends on the day. As for the sushi, it's decent and well priced. My favorite roll is the Kamyo maki. I need to branch out and try other rolls. My friends have had many others and enjoyed them. I definitely recommend the strawberry Mai tai... It's well priced, delicious, and STRONG. The crab rangoon is good... There's actually crab in them, go figure! And even though it's not on the menu, I got bok choy there before and it was amazing. Haven't tried too much of the Chinese food otherwise so can't really comment there. Place is always quiet and fairly not busy every time I go. You get a fortune cookie when you get your bill. Worth checking out, especially if just for a local hang out and some decent good priced food and drink. read more

We had Take-Out once and it was so good we went back for dinner in last Friday. Everything was incredibly delicious. Fresh, not greasy, and good portions for the price. You can tell they take great care with the cooking and nice presentation of the dishes. The only issue we had was the dining room was really really loud; so loud, you couldn't hear the person sitting across from you at the table. For 3 People with a PuPu for 2, Pork Fried Rice, and a Sushi Sampler, it came to $38, not bad at all and we brought food home for lunch the next day. We will definitely go back again! read more

My coworker placed an and when the order arrived we noticed we were missing one order of Maki Rolls We had called and spoke to a VERY RUDE woman who would not let us speak and continued to argue that we never placed the order and then would not even send out the order as it did not total $20. Just moved to the area and was looking or a decent Chinese place. Went here and they are only doing takeout which was weird since everyone around them is open. Ordered a pupu platter and house rice. Along with Dragon Meets Phoenix and the food first was very expensive !! And the quality was HORRID! The meat was so Overcooked and hard that we couldn't eat it. We found human hair in the rice !! I'm giving one star for food. The food is great however I could go many places and get great food that also includes great service. Our server was rude and didn't believe that it was me on my ID and gave me a hard time. We ordered a scorpion bowl and he set it down, placed the straws in front of each of my friends and when it was time to place my straw, his hand was within 4 inches of my face..he literally almost stuck the straw in my nose! It was to the point I had to move his hand out of my face or he really would've! Weird. Also, they close at midnight but we were being rushed out at 11:30 as we were the only ones there. The food at the restaurant is delicious. There are many Chinese restaurants but this is one of the best. I love the sweet potato maki with soy wrappers. The shrimp are large and tasty. The beef is tender and has great flavor. The spring rolls are perfect. I wish I could eat here every day. They have a wonderful selection of amazing dishes. Quite possibly Dracut's main contender for Lowell's China Star. A former coworker mentioned this place several times. I've driven past it probably several more, but finally dropped in for a quick takeout order. Just the basic app combo to start. Everything was great! Crispy rangoons and chicken fingers. Very little fat on the boneless ribs and beef teriyaki that was so amazingly tender with a slightly tangy glaze! Worth a return for dining in. I'm looking forward to the Japanese offerings and tasty adult bevs! read more

I've only ever ordered take out (the restaurant is less than a mile from my apartment), and kashin has never disappointed me. It's delicious, and they have it ready extremely fast. I have yet to have a bad dish from here. read more

Very upset with this restaurant. They serve lunch until 3pm. I went to order 15 minutes before 3 on the beyond menu app and it told me there was an error and i couldnt order lunch before 3pm. But it was still before 3. I tried a few more times thinking it must be a mistake but i kept getting the same error. I decided to call even tho i was at work so making a call at work isnt really allowed since i was ordering before my lunch and trying to time my delivery for my lunchtime. I called them and explained the issue (it was still a few minutes before 3, mind you) and they told me there was nothing they could do and to order a combo plate instead. However, i was ordering sushi so there were no combo plates. I explained in every way understandable and they just did not care! Very disappointed. I am a regular customer however I always order at night and for full price so I was excited to get the lunch price this time as I always spend close to 100.00 for myself and my family members. Sorry Kashin but you really let me down. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on! P.s. I have run a business with my family for 14years and I understand bitchy or unruly customers. However, loyal customers who very nicely explain what happened are always treated with respect. A good business would have and should have understood my situation especially since i was still calling before 3, even if it was a couple minutes before 3 at that time. I have recently discovered this restaurant and the food is good..but they are always rude when you dine in or pick up an order..I tolerate it because I like the food..recently i made a take out order that included a small hot and sour soup..I live about 30 miles away and when I got home discovered the soup was not there..I certainly wasnt driving back to get one and figured I was just tell them next time I went..( which ended being a week later) I called in an order and explained my soup was missing from last time,..I was told rudely that the girl would "check' with the Mgr..when my daughter picked up the order they said NO soup replacement...So my daughter bought me one..and added it to my pick up order..She called me and told me , I was so mad I called the place and asked WHY i couldnt have the soup they owed me..The RUDE Mgr screamed at me , no free soup because I did not call it in a week ago when it happened? I didnt think it was a big deal..it was a $3 or $4 soup? She was ranting and raving and I had no idea what she was saying and she would not let me speak to say anything..unbelievable!! so I just hung up on her... I called in a order and the lady that answered was very very rude she had very poor english..making exhausting noises at everything I asked ..I was ready to just hang up but was starving ..so we placed the order..now I called my husband and told him to pick it up on his way home not telling him anything about my experience on the phone..he came home saying the lady was awfully rude!! My husband and I ordered takeout from Kashin Garden this week- the food was awful. The scallion pancakes tasted like donuts (I don't even know how that's possible), the generals chicken was chewy and over cooked and the rice was disgusting. We ended up throwing out about $20 worth of food. Next time we will pick another restaurant for takeout- we will not be going back. read more
