I had a very disappointing experience here. I was told today that I should only order takeout and not dine in because the staff "know me." The reason appeared to be that I don't always leave a tip. Tipping is optional and there is no law requiring customers to tip. While I understand that servers appreciate tips, I don't believe I should be denied the opportunity to dine in because of my tipping choices, especially when I didn't receive service I felt was exceptional. The interaction left me feeling singled out and discriminated against. I can't say for certain why I was treated this way, but it made me question whether I would have been treated differently if I were of another race. Hey Ya'll, it's me again your neighborhood foodie. Tonight I had the absolute pleasure of eating at Ye's Table in Methuen, Ma. Everything about this place is great. The food was and always is amazing. I have been here more than once so let's just say I have had a few things on the menu. The Rose Lady Roll Sushi was unbelievable. It was a warm delightful bite of spicy tuna, avocado, shrimp and a pop of ginger. So so good. I also had the house Pad Thai, it had the perfect sweetness from the noodles, big tender shrimp, chicken and my fav the egg. Lastly the place is absolutely beautiful. I don't even live nearby, yet I've made the trip multiple times because it just might be the best food I've ever had! The space is beautiful, modern, and fancy-feeling. The service is consistently excellent, and what really stood out to me is how the host and owner actually remembered me. That level of kindness and attention is rare and made the experience feel so personal. Now the food... I would genuinely travel hours just for their sesame chicken, it's that incredible. Every dish I've tried has been great. The sushi is always fresh and beautifully prepared, and the appetizers are great too. My favorites, the crab rangoon and gyoza are absolutely out of this world. I truly cannot recommend this place enough. Every visit has been a 10/10 experience, and it's well worth going out of your way for. If you're even considering it...go. You won't regret it. read more

I went to ye's table with some relatives who go there frequently although it was my first time there. The restaurant itself is very bright and clean and has a good ambience. The staff were very friendly and service was good. I ordered vegetables with beef, which was excellent and the house fried rice, which was also very good. We visited late Saturday afternoon. Wasn't too busy and were rather rushed as three (3) different waitstaff asked us if we were ready to order a beverage. I had ordered that PuPu Platter for one. It is not listed on the menu and I had to ask for it. My guest ordered Garlic Chicken. Pupu platter for 1 ordered (not on menu) had to ask for it. 1 beef teriyaki, 2 crab Rangoon, 2 fried chicken fingers, 1 fried shrimp, 1 egg roll. Most of it was rather tasteless. Also got the Garlic Chicken. Small chicken nuggets in a brown light tasteless (garlic) gravy sauce. No taste at all to the Garlic Chicken and overall tasteless PuPu Platter. Would we return? Not to react from first impressions I reserved my review till the third visit. I wanted to check out consistency. Ye's has that and some. It also allowed me to work through menu and sample many items. The Maki roll selection is imaginative and demonstrates artistic skill of the chef as well as high quality ingredients. Dragon, spider, lobster and others we tried were on point. I also had the grilled octopus which was sublime. Waitstaff are friendly, polite and accommodating but stretched. The restaurant is modern contemporary and is well appointed. Can be a bit noisy, but that's a thing in the valley. Diners like everyone else to hear what they have to say. I was wrong. Every food item purchased was flavorless. The scallion pancake...tasteless. The broccoli in garlic sauce...tasteless. If the food weren't stellar this would be one star not two. Went in this evening and the service was atrocious. First, our waitress was actually quite rude throughout the meal. We started off with three appetizers. The shrimp was good but the presentation was terrible. We also ordered spring rolls which I think our waitress remembered well after because it came out about 10 minutes after the shrimp. We also ordered dumplings which I assumed she just forgot entirely until it came out WITH dinner. As for dinner, our youngest ordered chicken fingers and rice and oldest got sushi. The chicken fingers came out IMMEDIATELY after being ordered with no rice and not with everyone else's meal. Everyone else's food came out shortly along with the appetizer that was the surprised she remembered. Our oldest didn't get her sushi until everyone else's meal had been out for almost 15 minutes and after I had to complain to the waitress. The food is stellar, and I'd go again as take out. This place won't last if they can't get the service together. A couple was storming out as we walked in and the woman was saying to her significant other that she'll "never come back here."
