As part of the process a piece of my gutter was removed, fine. When reaching out to Mike to ask about the gutter being put back on, all of a sudden he became hard to reach and stopped answering texts. (It's worth nothing that at this point he had been paid by both me and homeowners insurance). Finally when we bothered him enough he responded with several long texts explaining that his company cannot put the gutter back on, the gutter isn't salvageable, they are not experts, the cost "should be minimal" for someone else to do it, etc. Ultimately I had to have a roofer come put it on who was shocked that Magic left my gutter in pieces on the ground, and said he actually had to repair damages that they made by tearing the gutter off the house improperly. It cost me $275, is that minimal? If you go with this company just make sure they don't leave any loose ends because once they are paid they are DONE with you.

AMAZING! Michael was on time for his estimate appointment, answered all my questions, gave thorough details of all work on the written estimate, and even put job start date on my contract! Michael stayed in touch with me throughout the entire job, even proactively following up with me with arrival times of each team. My husband and I have hired other companies for other home repairs; Michael and team were by far the most professional! Everyone was on time and thorough. They all went the distance on their part of the job and also answered my questions. The asbestos team ensured the area was sealed properly for asbestos removal (my husband and I saw their set up before we left the house). I also had a surprise and bonus, the head of the flooring team came by before the floor install to see the area so he knew how to prep the space, and he told me exactly what he would do, which was consistent with what Michael had stated on my estimate. The flooring team effectively set up tarps and plastic sheeting for dust/work debris containment (there was no dust in the rest of the house!), the install of the new floor looks great, and they ensured the flooring was to my satisfaction before cleaning up and leaving. Overall (I'm a teacher) I give this company an A+ and highly recommend them to anyone who needs a home restoration done right.

After a broken central air…read moreconditioning unit in my attic caused a major flood in my home, I had no idea who to call or who I could trust. There are a lot of restoration companies out there, and in a very stressful situation, I feel extremely fortunate that I chose Rapid Restoration. They responded within just a couple of hours of my initial call, immediately stopped the damage from getting worse, and began drying out my home to prevent mold and further problems. From there, they handled everything. They removed all of the water-damaged materials and then rebuilt my home beautifully--ceilings, walls, insulation, electrical work, painting, flooring, and more. It truly was a one-stop shop, and the finished work was actually better than what I had before the flood. A special thank you goes to Mike, the foreman who oversaw the entire project. Mike was outstanding from beginning to end. He stayed in constant contact with me, often speaking with me every day, worked tirelessly to keep the job moving, and made sure everything was completed properly and on time. He was professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and clearly took personal pride in the quality of the work. At every stage, I felt like Mike was personally invested not only in the project, but in making sure I was happy and that as much stress as possible was taken off my shoulders. The entire Rapid Restoration team treated my home and belongings with tremendous care. They carefully covered and moved my personal property to make sure nothing was damaged, and they cleaned up at the end of each day as though they were working in their own homes. Even though Rapid Restoration is a large company with multiple crews and specialists, they never lost the personal touch. Even the owner of the company called me periodically to provide updates and make sure I was being taken care of on every level. They also went far beyond the physical restoration of my home. They helped take the burden of dealing with the insurance company off my shoulders by assisting with estimates, photographs, documentation, paperwork, and securing payment for the work. That was an enormous help during an already overwhelming situation. What impressed me most was that Rapid Restoration clearly takes pride in its work and operates with integrity. They are professional, ethical, responsive, and committed to doing things the right way. You can tell that they have a strong set of core values and that customer satisfaction genuinely matters to them. When this happened, I did not know who to trust. I got lucky and picked the right company. If you ever find yourself needing emergency water damage restoration or home repairs, I would recommend Rapid Restoration without hesitation. They turned what could have been a nightmare into a manageable process and restored my home beautifully.

When it was time to pick our flooring, my husband and I went looking for a floor in our given price range. We went to Home Depot and Floor and Decor and picked out flooring that we liked. Alexis kept telling us that she had a place for us to pick out flooring and kept avoiding talking about flooring we like from other companies. Since we were into the project for approximately 8 months already due to COVID, we decided to go with her contact. We wound up picking a floor with their contact, but we're concerned about how thin the flooring was since it was going over tile that was under our original pergo We were told not to worry about it and that they would make sure that everything was done right. About a month after install, the floor started buckling. We callEd All Island to ask Jay, the owner to come take a look at the floor. He said it would cost us $7,000 to redo the floor. We explained that we had reservations about putting this thin floor in, given our circumstances and that Alexis assured us that it would be fine and they'd take care of it. Jay told us flat out that he would replace it for another $7,000. Since then the floor has been separating in many places and even sticking up. We cut our feet on it and my husband had to tape it down. Since we only looked at samples and don't know the company they got this floor from, we have no warranty on it and have to redo the entire floor ( in four rooms of my home) costing us $9,000 more only four years later. The reason we waited these few years was because we knew it was going to cost a lot to redo this floor. Now we are in the process of getting it done right at a big cost. Home Depot professions said they don't even sell less than 8mm thick flooring, but All Island installed 5mm even after our concerns. I have many pictures of this disaster. When Jay visited us, he went around our kitchen kicking the planks to close up multiple gaps. The flooring was a big part of this disaster, but there is way more that happened with the crew that was working on our project. Paint splatter on our brand new windows and screens, holes left in corners of the room, kitchen cabinet handles screwed in crooked, grout started falling out of the backsplash tiles, and I could go on. Wish they would have done right by us.
