You can score some killer deals at this location, the store is not big and if you come on a weekend there is usually a line to get in. I live close by so I can go after work to avoid the weekend crowds. The SAs are helpful at this store, they are always around to help you with your selection and tell you about the latest promotions. I recent bought a bag and when I got home I realized the handles have a few faint scratches. I called the store to see if they had more in stock so I can exchange for a better one. Even though they ran out of stock on the bag the SA answered the phone was pleasant, unlike those at OFF FIFTH. I decided to keep the bag since I got it for a good deal. I'm very happy with my last few visits to the store. I'm not into any of the trendy bright colors, patterns, or fabrics - and I've still always been able to find something I love. I found a beautiful tan faux ostrich leather wallet on sale for 55% off...$65...total score! Husband bought this GORGEOUS black large leather bag at 40%...also a great deal. In terms of service, no one is really helpful, but that doesn't matter because the store is so small that you don't really need it except when checking out. The girls at the register need to learn some customer service. I went in today and asked a lady on the floor if she could get me a purse from the back because all the bags out had something wrong with them and she told me "oh just ask the girls at the register to get it for you and they will do it." Let me tell you. Every time I have done that they always get annoyed and it's only ever at Kate Spade. Anytime I go to Micheal Kors they either do it on their own or if I ask them they are willingly with a smile on their face happy to do it. So once again I go to the register with my 70 year old grandmother and the lady helping her was completely RUDE to her. My grandma asked her if she could get the bag from the back (like the lady on the floor told us to do) and she was giving her an attitude and practically rolling her eyes at my grandma! So rude and unprofessional! Your in customer service so put a smile on your face and fake it till you make it!! Im sorry but if Im paying $200-400 for a bag I want to make sure the fabric isn't ripped and the seams aren't coming undone. Dont know why there are ANY bad reviews about Allie from this weekend. I visited this store twice this holiday-- Thursday and today. People were growing restless in line on Thanksgiving, given the wait, and she was consistently checking on all of us and letting us know that they were doing everything possible to get us in in a timely fashion. Upon entering, she went out of her way to help me pick out bags for both myself and all of my nieces on the east coast-- even speaking to which types of leather hold up best in wetter climates. When I went back this afternoon, I saw her working again and was glad to see that this location definitely puts strong employees on the sales floor for the weekends. Honey, I dont know if you read these-- for youre own sake I hope that you dont-- but if you do, know that these people's reviews of you in no way reflect what I saw from you this weekend. If any of your managers read these, please know that this girl is doing everything right...and I am happy to tell you more about my experience. Went to the Saturday sale for presidents day weekend which was great and had great prices! It was so nice to be greeted at the door by Helen, who was so very helpful. But i cant say that about all the employees- the tall thin blonde never greeted us and looked like she didn't want to be there. It was madness on Memorial Day weekend. The line was like 30 minutes wait. People inside where pushing and shoving over one another. The bags are kinda ugly. They have weird animals designs and they are heavily discounted. I love Kate spade but I like the retail bags more compared to the outlets ones. I love Kate Spade!!! When I heard that they were opening an outlet store at Paragon Livermore, I was ecstatic! However, I was incredibly disappointed when I got there bc of the product line. As a savvy shopper, I know that most outlets will carry last season's styles/overstock at 40% discount. I was hoping to score big on this at the KS outlet store. Turns out that they have an outlet line instead....so the product was not so great. No handbags or wallets in leather....only pleather or vinyl. Total bummer! They only had 3 styles of dresses, 4 graphic t-shirts and 2 jean styles. They had a lot of the accessories, that would make for good stocking stuffers though. I ended up not buying anything despite the super discounted prices plus grand opening promos. It wasn't what I was looking for. The staff was friendly, so 2 stars for them. I'm heading over to the Kate Spade store in Walnut Creek for the real thing instead!!! read more

The WORST Customer service EVER!!! When I checked out, they ran my CC and on my terminal it said the charge went through. They then asked me to run it again because they didn't get it on THEIR side. I did so, but told them I was pretty sure it had gone through - considering the charge was over $1300.00, I think I had every right to be concerned. But they insisted and ran itagain. I asked what should I do if I got charged twice, and Krystal(manager) told me to call them back if I noticed the charges on my CC. About 1.5 hours later, I checked online and there WERE double HOLDS from the store. We returned to the store and asked her to stop the double charge, and she told me they couldn't do anything since all charges were done on the corporate level (because we insisted that they could actually CANCEL the charges that day and it wouldn't go on the CC). We told her that we also ran businesses and that this didn't make sense to us, and she rudely told us that she had been in retail business for 30 years and basically that we didn't know anything. I was given her name and was told to call back if I saw the charges on my card. Well several days later, I checked and I HAD been charged twice. I called the store, and of course Krystal wasn't there. The girl on the phone told me that she would have the manger on site - Jessica - to call me back. 5 hours later and no call, I call again. They sent the call over to Jessica, and she basically told me that she would put in a notice to Corporate level to look into this. I asked WHEN should I expect a credit, and she said she had no idea. I asked her for a phone number for customer service so I could enquire, and she said she didn't know of any number. When I insisted, she gave me a 866 number. I called that, and after waiting quite a bit, I found out that this was a number for ONLINE ordering ONLY. They basically had ZERO information as to who I could contact. So now I am at the MERCY of this inane company and am quite frustrated at their customer service. Basically, once they have your money, they could care less about service. Tomorrow, I will call MY cc service and open up a case there. Terrible Terrible service!! If I could give them a ZERO rating I would!!!! read more

Had a HORRIBLE experience here today. Monday evening I came In to get my girlfriend a "just because" gift so I decided to stop by at the Kate Spade Outlet since I know she likes the brand and has been wanting a card holder. Walked in and was greeted-nice so far; was asked if I needed help-great. But the transaction part went horrible! I ended up getting my girlfriend a card holder and a wrist wallet/clutch. The lady ringing me up started telling me the price tag on their was different then the actual price. I told her okay, but I still get it as the price tag that's on their right? (Nope) she proceeded to tell me that I have to pay a different price and they will not honor the price tag that was in the wrist wallet/clutch. My whole experience went horrible. I thought customers were put first. Apparently not at this Kate Spade. It's just their sale and $$$ for them. Will not be returning here. read more

I have always loved Kate Spade. Their merchandise is amazing! I have three purses, jewelry, clothing and more. I have been to this location many times. Every time I find myself in the outlets I go in and browse. I loved the old location, it was small but it worked just fine. It was intimate and comfortable. The customer service was amazing. They greet you give you information on sales and then leave you alone. In the new store I was approached at least 10 times by different people and sometimes the same person twice. I was in the middle of a conversation with my Fiance and I was cut off by an employee to greet me and try to help me. I was doing just fine and wanted to be left alone. I was walking around for less than 5 minutes and I was overwhelmed by the amount of people approaching me. I thought I was doing something wrong, they were hovering over me and watching me. There were at least 20 other people in the store. I do not like the livermore location anymore. They are extremely over staffed and trying too hard. They DO NOT know when to stop with the greeting and "seeing if I'm doing ok." I would not recommend shopping at this location. read more

It was our first time to check out this premium outlets and was ok with the atmosphere of the place. My husband took me there specifically to get me something for mother's day gift. We walked around the area (there's coach,michael kors,armani,juicy couture,prada, dooney&bourke, etc) but i settled with kate spade to look for what i wanted.... The store was like most people have written down.. (Not too big space but enough items for you to look around and might find something you want to buy). the sales associates were all very friendly and really help out in the best they can..very welcoming..except for this OLD LADY (assuming the greeter but never greets people)... She seemed so rude in a way.. She keeps looking at people like they were gonna steal or something...i dont know but anyway..that would be the ony thing i can comment on and everything else..it was a great shopping for me. One of the cashiers was really bad at math! The bag rang up to 50% off plus additional 20% off, but a sign said take an additional 50% off. The cashier said 50% off and take additional 50% off would make the bag 100% off; therefore, she didn't give me the additional 50% off. She definitely discouraged me from buying my bag. I wish I could talk to some management about this...or at least raise their awareness here. I've been to this store several times, yesterday 11/21/15 was exceptionally bad experience. The lady in Tory Burch boots working near the entrance rolled her eyes up when I asked her about the material of the bag, as if I asked a stupid question. When I walked my way out, I saw her greeting customers but when she saw me, she looked and turned around (and that wasn't because she was helping others or doing anything). To be fair, I don't think all employees there are that rude. I see the trend of hiring more bilingual salesperson but please, let them know that salesperson are not only there to make customers pay, but also represent the brand and provide customer services in a professional manner. I won't dislike Kate Spade of their product, but I'm pretty disappointed with their management this time. :( read more

I was so excited to see that Kate Spade finally had an outlet in Northern California and it did not disappoint. We went during the week so there was no line to get in. The prices were super reasonable, especially in the clearance section. I found a beautiful tote bag for work and I have gotten nothing but compliments on it since i started using it. The woman helping me, Candace, was so nice and helpful. I needed a fairly sizable bag for work and school and she gathered up anything that fit my requirements from around the store. I've been to this Kate Spade Outlet twice, once a few months ago and the most recent time being today. Both times were a pleasant experience as the sales associates were very nice and the bags were relatively organized for such a small store. I didn't have the problem of waiting in line either time so maybe there are only lines during peak times/seasons? I am a very focused and quick shopper, which means I go into a store, look around for what I need and leave if I don't see anything that catches my eye. Regardless of how little time I spent in the store the first time, they still got around to asking me if I needed help. This time around, I finally found something I liked and for a pretty good price. I know one of the other reviews mentioned that the "like style" tag probably means the item was made for the factory and not for regular retail stores but I don't see anything wrong with that. The bag I bought today is beautiful and seems very sturdy and well-made. If you see a bag you like on the sales floor that is scuffed or has loose thread, that may be because it has been out for a while and handled by a lot of customers so ask the sales associates if they have any more in the back. I did that when buying my bag and I'm glad I did. Just make sure to check for the quality of the bag and if you think it is worth the price, go for it! The bag I bought was on sale for $160, which I thought was very reasonable for the quality and size as it is big enough to fit my essentials when I go travelling like my DSLR camera (Canon Rebel T3) with room to spare. Even if the quality of this bag might be slightly compromised, I'm happier paying $160 for this bag than I would be paying $400 for the one in retail stores. Overall, this store seems to have good sales and friendly staff so I'll make sure to stop by again if I need a new bag/wallet when I'm in the area! read more

The zipper on my Camyrn bag broke and I was told I could go to the nearest kate spade store to have them send it out for repair. Went to this store since it was close to me and they just gave me a new bag in exchange. The service was great! Now I don't have to wait 6 weeks to get my bag back. I thought the service was great given I was getting a bag repaired. They were having their 60% off plus 20% today and the store had a lot of people but no lines like some of the other reviewers. Horrible customer service!! The staff here DOES NOT know how to talk to their customers! We were here on 31st December for our annual shopping, we stood in the line to enter the store. We kept standing for 20 minutes but i had to use restroom later on , so i left the line and my hubby kept standing for us. After i came back my hubby was inside the store, i made a request to the staff at the entrance that i was in the restroom and did stand in line with my hubby- he is already inside so kindly allow me in. He said "NO" so rudely to me, then he goes like "talk to the manger" with a frowning face, i explained to his manager the entire scenario and she too said no! She was like i can allow you guys to swap with such a mean face , but i cannot let both of you enter at the same time. After standing in the line for so long these guys do not know how to talk to people, they lost a customer for LIFE ! This review is in regards to my purchase on 9/18/16. They had a sale that says 60% off "plus" 20% off. It's a trick people. The signs makes u think "oh 80%off total now that's a deal." FALSE! Still a deal..a discount but it ain't 80% off even though the signs says 60% off "+" 20% off. Example: I purchase a bag that was $328.00 that has that sale sign on the top. So I do a calculations on cp calculator and got around $66. So I was like..no way this can't be true. I grab the bag and head to the cashier to ask how much the bag will be with all the discount. A lady checked and said $104.96. I thought well that's still a good deal..I must have calculated wrong so I continue to purchase the purse. My total was $114.93. I got home and looked at the purse and it stated in there 60% + 20% off (223.04). I did another calculations on the phone but putting it as $328. × .80% but was getting more that 223.04. I learned that this is what kate spade system does. They do 60% off first on the $328.00 and whatever the total is they do 20% off on that total and put them together is 223.04 off. Still not bad. Still a good deal but if u do the math it's actually 68% off the $328. It's just another marketing idea to lure people in n to purchase something. I am one of them who fell for dat. But anyhow, I like the bag even though it's not for me. Bought it for a cousin in law as a gift. read more

Went to Kate Spade Outlet before Christmas and loaded up on Christmas gifts. Yes, many of the items may be vinyl but I was able to buy some excellent leather purses. The staff was most helpful. Only wish they had more clothes. but their purses and wallets are great - some days have special sales, like an additional 50% off on certain items - rare but it does occur. As I was leaving, there was a long of shoppers waiting to get in. Inventory does vary, so there is a bit of luck involved. read more
