The employees are quite pleasant even amongst a busy crowd, one was merely trying to get through but heard me ask my friend if a wristlet up on a far shelf was a bag and was very helpful in answering my question. She even showed me where a different color was and mentioned how it could be used as a small shoulder bag. I knew I had to make my purchase worthwhile since I waited so long to get into the actual store. The line for ringing up purchases was surprisingly short. I ended up buying two bags, a wristlet, necklace, and bracelet (for myself & as gifts) for the price of one full priced bag at a regular KS boutique! Of course, I've never bought anything without a coupon/sale at Kate; that would be silly. Samantha was nothing short of attentive and offered to put my jewelry selections on hold. She also did price checks for me on two bangles that didn't have the outlet price labeled. I was super stoked to hear they even had a Kate Spade Outlet. Rarely are there any of these around. Their service was alright. The greeter blocked off the door right after my friend and I got in, but she was like see you next time instead of asking them to wait, which I thought was weird if you're trying to make sales. Anyhow, there were a variety of items that were marked down. I bought my friend a business card holder, which was reasonably priced! Based on my experience, the sales associates could've been more organized seeing that they did have a large amount of people in the store, but they did what they could. While I had a wait quite some time to get into the store (because of the limited amount of people they were letting in) I did so because I had NEVER been to this particular location and wanted to experience it for myself. I went inside and was browsing and saw a pair of shoes and tried them on. Mind you that not one salesperson mention to me that trying shoes were not allowed and all of a sudden I get this comment from Marianne/Maryann that "just a reminder that that we do not allow customers to wear shoes". I was completely blindsided and she actually scared me, and I was not happy in the way she said it to me at all. I told her that they should have a sign saying this and she ignored me and went off. This turned my experience into a very negative one at Kate Spade. I had driven over 1 hour and 20 min and although I had shopped at other stores, I was not expecting to have such a negative experience at this particular location. I was checking the price of another purse but decided I did not want to give my business to this location because of how I felt and how uncomfortable it was for me. Corporate should please teach her how to say things politely and more comforting to customers, especially if she is one of the managers. The worst customer service ever! Krystal, supposedly the manager, was so condescending and rude. She treated my daughter and I terribly. I understand the store was busy but that doesn't mean you treat others rudely. The line to get in is so long, then you scavenger for a decent purse, wait in another long line to pay, then walk all the way back to the car to leave just to realize they sold you a bag that has a broken zipper. Then they want you to wait again?! Ummm no way! Finally get inside and speak with Kevin and Krystal. They said "it's the customer's responsibility to make sure they check the item out before purchasing." Who even days that?! I came in looking for a specific purse and there was only one on display but I wanted to purchase one more so I asked an employee where I could find it and she told me there weren't any others. I asked a different employee who led me right back to the front right across from where the first employee was standing. I've been going to this outlet since they first opened in November 2012. They used to be in a smaller space on the opposite side about 3-4 stores down. When Juicy Couture closed, they took over. This new location is much bigger and easier to walk around. They have the best deals! Exactly a week ago I found a chocolate strawberry cross bag for $249 which was part of their new arrivals. I knew they were going to mark it down so I called on Friday. Amy placed it on hold for me and advised that they only put items on hold for 24 hours. I picked it up Saturday morning but had to come back on Sunday to pick up more items. Strawberry chocolate covered cross body: Originally $249.00 + 50% = $130.87 - came back on Sunday to get an extra 10% because the current selling price was 60% off. Kate Spade Outlets are rare to find. I think the only other one I've been to is in Primm near Vegas. At such great outlet prices, they make great holiday gifts! The store is a bit small w/ heavy foot traffic, but it's manageable. I've been to their Paragon location a couple of times already and each week, they've enticed customers in with their awesome 50% off sales. In addition, I've been there where one week was an additional 20% all handbags and another week where it was an additional 20% off all handbags and wallets when you buy 2 or more items, that's on top of their already discounted 50% off! The selections are cute and I love the service here. I forgot to use my discount during my purchase but they were able to re do the transaction quickly! I purchased a bag at the Livermore store. I was satisfied with the purchase. The store is nicely kept. Recently, Ivan (not sure if it's even a real person) at (925) 267-6394 started texting me pictures of the store advertising sales. This is so rude. Texting people to drum up business for the store. If I could give no stars, I would. My significant kthwr was in the store purchasing, needed me for help with the purchase. The "door lady" told me that I couldn't help her and to get at the back of a line that was going down the mall, which the 20 minute wait to help make a purchase was a short wait. I couldn't give my care since that would mean my significant other either leaving the store and having to get back in line, or just losing her place in line. This is extreme poor customer service. It's a Kate spade store, not LV, Rolex, or a real high end store. The 1 star review is for the horrible customer service received at Kate Spade Outlet in Livermore. I bought a bag there last month and noticed that after one wear, the turn buckle was getting scratched very easily and also felt loose. I called customer service and they agreed it is a quality issue and for me to return it to the store. I originally took it back to the Kate Spade Walnut Creek main store and the sales associates there were super nice and agreed it is a quality issue but that it needs to be taken back to the outlet store. Yesterday, we went to the Kate Spade Outlet and immediately was greeted rudely by a sales associate who said she has to get a manager for the return. The bag was fully returnable as it is not final sale and states on the receipt that it is returnable until Jan 25th. The manager came out and said she refuses to return the bag because she doesn't have the bag in the store anymore since I originally asked for an exchange. I then asked for a return or store credit and she refused to give it to me saying that because her store doesn't have it anymore and it's past 30 days that she won't return it. I showed her the receipt where it says returnable until January 25th and she made up some BS saying after 30 days it is a judgement call. Excuse me? Where does that say that on the receipt? She then rudely shoved the bag back to me and said that I can call customer service if I want but she was no longer able to help me. I am appalled at this lack of customer service and basic human manners exuded by the manager at this store. I shop at Kate Spade often and has never seen such terrible service before. I understand it is the holidays and everyone feels stressed in retail but this manager needs to take some lessons in customer service because she definitely has none. I called customer service who stated to please send photos of the damages on the bag and they will also see to it that the manager of this store gets reprimanded. To top it all off, when I got home, I realized she took my dustbag out of the purse and never put it back! Do NOT go to this store. Shop at the real Kate Spade store in Walnut Creek if you actually want to be treated like a human being. I have been a loyal customer of KS for many years and will stay away from this location from now on. I had a great shopping experience here last week. I walked in knowing that I wanted to buy my fiancee a new bag for her birthday. The nice girl who greeted me (two-tone hair, and some tattoos) immediately handed over a 20% discount card which was good on any non-clearance bag. She then asked what I was looking for, what colors my fiancee likes, etc. We found a perfect match of a bag right away, but she then allowed me to peruse the store on my own to see if anything else caught my eye. A few minutes later I was ready to buy that first bag we looked at. The price was very surprisingly lower than I thought it would be. It had a retail price of $400, was marked down to $300, 40% was taken off for their standard outlet discount and then the extra 20% was applied. It came out to about $160 including tax. I told her that she should have charged me more! I really like to keep my shopping quick and easy, and that's what I got. Helpful friendly service, a good deal, and simplicity. I'm a salesperson myself, and I thought the Kate Spade staff did a perfect job. I've read some of the negative reviews here, and although some of them seem legitimate, very many others look like the work of extreme discount shoppers and bargain hunters. My advice is to stop making things so hard on yourself. Look at the value in the service, and the convenience. Shopping is not a competitive sport. read more

What really turned me off was the "Like Item" price, which indicated to me none of these items were original Kate Spade products. Instead factory made items. The quality just wasn't there. I didn't know kate spade had an outlet--i was eager to check this store out. I heard about the long wait and lines, so I came right when they opened, but there was still a small line. I think the line is due to the size of the store...it's SO tiny. I would say it's smaller than the kate spade store in walnut creek. I think they should have gotten a bigger lot for this store! There was barely any area to form a line for the registers too--making it difficult to check out products when there's people waiting in line for the registers in front of the displays. This is definitely an outlet store. Most of their purses were patent leather or vinyl, and it looks like Kate spade has their own outlet line, so I wasn't as interested in grabbing any purses. I did see a few purses that were "on sale" in actual kate spade stores, but again, mostly vinyl styles. I did pick up a few cute accessories like jewelry and cold weather stuff :) The sales associates are incredibly sweet and helpful, so that's definitely a plus. However, I think I'm just going to stick to sales at the regular Kate Spade...the line (and drive) is not worth the small selection at this store! read more

I was beyond ecstatic for grand opening so I had to visit today (even though they opened yesterday). Google Maps doesn't have this address updated yet, so don't use Google Maps. I got kind of lost and had to go around and around looking for parking but it was ALL worth it when I stepped into Kate Spade. See my Paragon Outlet review for more information. But anyway, there was a little bit of a wait to step into the Kate Spade store but the sales will make it worth your while. Not sure how long this will last but it was 50% handbags/accessories/wallets and 40% off jewelry and clothing... with a cherry on top discount of an additional 20% thereafter! Icing on the cake huh? Oh, it truly was! The store itself is a little small, but they have enough Kate Spade goodies to go around. They have handbags, wallets, jewelry, accessories, winter scarves, and some clothes. My only wish was that they had SHOES because I would've lost my mind... if that sale applied to it. ;) They had roughly 12 boxes or more of shipment behind checkout so I'm sure they'll restock with goodies this entire weekend for grand opening and getting ready for Black Friday weekend. Fun fun place. It's a must visit. It was one of the highlights of my Paragon Outlet trips. Highly recommended. Ladies, go with your girlfriends or fellas, surprise your lady by taking her here! Ok! Yes! A store that will actually deliver 70% off! This outlet mall was lacking good deals and then I came into this store and started clapping like a seal! Now I understand why they have to form lines outside of the store! I was never really a fan of their purses before but I think the quality of purses is above par, even at this store. I may have spent a lot of time examining almost every purse. Kate Spade is modern chic but colorful too. They have a large selection of bright colored purses and wallets for the fashionista in all of us. There is a small selection of clothes, jewelry and sunglasses too. Have made many great purchases here in the past but unfortunately my most recent visit will be my last. The quality of the items they carry has gone way down hill along with the service. My mother and I entered the store and we were told Everything but the clearance items were 60% off with an additional 20%. After browsing for a while my mom found several items she wanted to purchase and so we waited in a very long line just to be told that these items were full price. I pointed out to the cashier that the items are sitting under a big 60% off sign and that is very misleading, all we got was a very fake "sorry". This is a nice Kate Spade store, with a good selection of outlet products in very good condition and decent outlet prices. The store is clean, well lit, and organized. Overall the staff is friendly and helpful, however I do want to call out the manager who was on duty. We picked a purse and noticed there was a slight blemish on it. So we asked the manager, who was on the floor helping, if we could get a new one. However without even thinking she lied to us and said it was the last one. Advice: don't lie. There were another three or four of them on the shelf right there. And another half dozen or more in the stock room. After we called her out on this, she did ask another staff member bring out two more of the purses from the back, and I overheard on the radio that there were more than that available. read more

I was expecting a lot more from this outlet. The store is neat and colorful per Kate Spade standards, but the selection isn't that great. A lot of the stuff is made for the outlets, rather than past season items. Everything was either patent or in some bright color, meh. Jewelry selection was also limited, with nothing really eye catching. They had a good amount of wallets, mainly the zip around ones and a few of those midsize wallets. A few of the handbags I looked at had defects -- there were these weird stains that seem to have been from the handles, which is terrible. When I insisted they have some sort of carry out service for pregnant women, the young lady just looked down and ignored me It wasn't busy, no long lines and they weren't understaffed. There's never available spots for close parking, so I had to park far. Most stores do help carry out bags when they know you're pregnant and require assistance. For those of you who are pregnant, don't go by yourself if you know you're going to buy more than one thing. Take your spouse or partner or friend.
