Kate's Wine Bar is such a cute little spot. The entrance is charming, and I was greeted and seated right away when I walked in, which I always appreciate. It's a smaller, more intimate space, probably around 6-8 tables, plus the bar area, and it wasn't loud at all, so it felt easy to relax and actually talk. We also never felt rushed out of our spot. My friend and I ordered the Bottle and Board for $45, and it was a great choice. The wine was delicious, and the board had a nice variety of cheeses, meats, olives, and little bites that all paired really well together. We stopped in to get out of the heat and we met with an amazing staff in selection here. The happy hour was a great selection and my wife has a nice rosé as well as a white. Explain the different rivals, which are very important and they have a limited, but very flavorful pacing menu to keep you going. Cute little wine bar in downtown Littleton. Good service and a decent selection of wine. For tastings, they had a red flight and a bubbles flight. My friend and I stopped in for happy hour and had such a great time! We each got a wine flight that came with a basket of veggies, pita, and some fun, snacky bites--super tasty. I do wish they had a bit more variety when it comes to finger foods, though. This is definitely a better spot for stop #1 in your night, or plan to grab food before or after. I also wish they had a bigger selection of reds (those were my favorite), but the vibes totally made up for it. The people were great, and our bartender was so sweet and personable. Owned by a husband and wife team, this wine bar not only brings the charm but they know how to deliver on both delicious wine and snacks. The baked Brie was to die for! I could have eaten the whole thing myself but we had to share with the group of friends at our table. Here's my take on this place. Basically a bar that serves wine. Clientele, yikes. Not their fault but it goes to show you what they attract. Wine selection mediocre. I chose the best option I could find, it was OK. The girl who served us was nice and so forth but did explain anything and maybe was not versed on the wines available at all. Not educated on the wines at all. Dressed like she should be slingin' beers at some bar. If I am coming to a "wine bar" I want it to be snotty and more upscale, more educated people on wines etc... WTF is this place? I don't know, I just felt like this was a run down bar that serves wine. Nothing special to it. We came here once about 10+ years ago and it seem much more wine bar esc. Magical little cozy hidden gem. Unbelievably kind and knowledgeable staff, delicious food, a snazzy wine selection, and happy hour? Chef's kiss. I recommend not choosing wine from the menu but tell the bar tender what your wanting/craving (dry bubbles, woody chard, etc.) and you won't be disappointed. With the food - everything is delightful. Don't let their prep center turn you down, it's fresh, delicious, and easily pared with a beverage. Cannot think of more positive adjectives at the moment but Kate's deserves them. The fact that I have not hopped on Yelp yet to tell you how much I love Kate's only shows how busy I have been. Kate's is my absolute favorite spot. Kate's Wine Bar is like your favorite cozy, neighborhood coffee shop, only instead of coffee, it's wine. I KNOW! The other best thing about Kate's besides the fact that they have lots and lots of wine, is that everyone is welcome. I often go with my two young daughters and never feel out of place, and there is plenty to entertain them. I have also seen people on their way to plays at City Hall, or having a before or after dinner glass of wine. The crowd is varied, and all are encouraged to come. The service is always fantastic and the prices are fair. The flights are varied and trying them gives you a good idea of new varieties of wine you may not have considered for yourself. I am just so grateful such a wonderful place exists in my neighborhood, where I can go to enjoy myself as a mom with the whole family. Thanks for existing, Kate's! It was my first time at this quaint wine bar in downtown Littleton. Almost straight out of some fairy tale book, Kate's Wine Bar with its homey and welcoming interior offers an intimate setting for some gathering. It is very small and the tapas they have on the menu is not built for sharing, but our lady barkeep and owner, Amber, was on top of every order. They had a cheese infused with port on their charcuterie when I went to visit. The only qualm I had was the non-shareable portions for charcuterie. read more

Here's why Kate's is a little gem within in burb city: 1 = Staff is amazing. Although the interior is small, and becomes busy for happy hour, we were easily accommodated, greeted with smiles and constantly had our bottles of wine replaced, glasses filled and were perfectly taken care of. 2 = Killer happy hour. With our bottle pre purchased and at a discounted rate, I couldn't help but peruse the menu and see wine for $5 and snacks for not much more! Kate's wine bar is cute in a very kitchy way. There are fake Vines and grapes hanging and painted on " exposed brick." I don't really love the imitation Italian vibe but it was clean, quiet and cozy. The wine selection was obviously large and I like that they offer half glasses if you want to try two or you want a second glass but probably shouldn't haha Interested to try the food next time as I didn't have any this time around as we had come after dinner. The place has a very homey feel and was sort of desolate for a Saturday night, so I don't know what that means! :P read more

A selection of wines and a much smaller selection of beers, all of them bottled for some reason (why?), and they also have a few appetizers like cheese and crackers etc. Very old school... I believe when we where there the average age that evening was around 40 so definitely not the trendy place but a nice place to get a glass of wine and have a conversation (well there are no TVs either so it's really about talking to each other which is apparently not the latest trend). This is a cute, little wine bar. They have $4 glasses of select wine during their happy hour 4-7pm. And, it's fairly easy to find parking here. But, the food is pretty bad. That shouldn't deter you, you'll probably be going for the wine, not the munchies. But, store-bought hummus and stale flat bread & crackers just wasn't doin' it for me. I dunno. We didn't have a bad experience here, it just wasn't particularly good or memorable. We left after one glass and found somewhere else in Downtown Littleton to hang for the evening. I tried Kate's because it's a great Friday happy hour meeting spot no matter what side of the Metro Area you're coming from or going to. This place is really cute and fits right in with the old main st vibe. Despite it being tiny, service was a bit lacking. They do have a good happy hour. We started off with vinho verde which was delicious, so naturally they ran out. We got the baked brie which was pushing dessert level with the amount of brown sugar on top. We followed up with a prosecco and a pinot grigio, which sadly neither held a candle to the vinho verde. We also tried a Pedro Ximénez, which was an impressive offering as I've not seen that on other wine lists. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip. The overwhelming flavor of frozen spinach wasn't a winner. We then got the brownie, which bore a striking resemblance to the brie, as in it had all the same toppings. Unfortunately this didn't come with a side of insulin. Perhaps a cold ice cream or sorbet. Something to contrast an already sweet plate. At least the brie had fat and savory going for it. read more
