We got lured to this food truck at the fremont sunday farmers mkt near downtown seattle. The parking for this farmers mkt is super difficult to find so my recommendation is to uber to it instead. The food truck looked clean and service was friendly, i love that they give u a buzzer, so u can continue moving around in the vicinity vs being stuck standing and just waiting for your order, Also loved the fact that they offer half plate of momos and that way you can try it first and or try more than one variety. In $16, we got: - himalayan fries - 5/5- loved the marination and portion size, the outside was crisp and inside was perfectly soft and not dry. - chicken momo 4 pcs - 4/5 - comes with a variety of sauces. Not bad and nothing i would say was excellent. It was decent.

Jose was the star of the show, he was kind courteous & served hot plate of cheese balls our children savored, we cooked up a ravenous appetite for the best selling chicken momos ! Worth the wait and scrumptious portion size..highly recommend:)

Love their vegan dumplings! They don't use sesame in them either which is great news for me! The mild sauce has sesame but not the medium or hot. I really want to try the hot next time. This time I got them from their SLU Saturday Market tent for lunch at work. It was the perfect size for me to quickly eat. Great service and so glad that they are still doing markets even though they have a storefront now. The ambiance was a little different because it was the market, but I took it to go and it's easy to eat and walk.

My co-worker and I stopped by Kathmandu Momocha for lunch this past week to try some different ethnic food from what we usually get. I've been to Annapurna before in Capitol Hill, but haven't had too much Himalayan or Nepalese food otherwise. We arrived at 11:40am at their South Lake Union location, beating the lunch rush which started at around 12-12:30pm. We shared the PORK AND CHICKEN MOMO LUNCH COMBO and the CHICKEN AND EGG NOODLES. We also ordered a MASALA CHAI TEA and a MANGO LASSI. The total with tax and tip came out to just over $40. The PORK AND CHICKEN MOMOS were alright. They came as a set of 6 dumplings (three of each) plus three fried potato dumplings. The momo dough was pretty thick and the inside was dry and not juicy- these were definitely not soupy like Chinese xiao long baos. If anything, they were more like Russian pelmeni. They definitely needed to be dipped in the spicy garlic sauces they provide. The fried potato dumplings were decent though and I honestly enjoyed them more than the momos. The CHICKEN AND EGG NOODLES were quite disappointing. The dish was basically just lo mein noodles with a little bit of chopped chicken and some vegetables. Panda Express noodles are honestly just as good (and half the price). While the portion was generous, I would definitely not order this dish again. The MASALA CHAI TEA was just okay as well. It had good spice flavor and wasn't super sweet (which I liked), but it lacked richness/creaminess. My co-worker had the MANGO LASSI and found it passable. While I didn't try it, it looked somewhat anemic/light in color. The atmosphere is extremely casual and sterile (think metal counters, metal tables, and metal chairs). It's basically like eating at a fast food restaurant as you order at the kiosk, grab a buzzer, and go up to the counter to get your own food. You bus your own table as well, so there's not much service involved. They also only use foil takeout containers and plastic forks, even if you dine in, which I find wasteful towards the environment. The interior is pretty tight and so be careful when getting up out of your chair. Overall: 2.5/5 for food, 3/5 for service, 2.5/5 for atmosphere and environmental friendliness

Great spot for lunch! Grabbed a lunch combo with chicken and pork momos. It comes with a salad too. It was all tasty and I'd come back. I think next time I'll try the handmade noodles.

We passed by after visiting MOHAI and couldn't resist grabbing some momos. Upon entering, you smell the spices and just know it's going to be authentic! Interior is bright and vibrant with a decent amount of seating. You order on the kiosk and wait to pick up. The flavors were spot on and nice seasoning in the meat. We're visiting and it was a touristy area, but it seemed a bit pricey for a casual spot.

This was my first time trying Nepalese street food, so I don't have much baseline for comparison. I ordered the lunch combo and fried dumplings. The filling was good and tasty, and I really liked the hot cilantro dipping sauce. It was spicy and really elevated the taste of the dumplings. However, the dough wrapper could be thinner, as it felt a bit too separated from the filling. The mango lemonade tasted a little funny, but it wasn't a big deal. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. I couldn't even finish my meal!

Stopped here when we arrived in Seattle looking for a quick bite! I had always wanted to try momo's and was so excited to find this. Parking wasn't too hard. There is a self serve tablet to order. I ordered the chicken momo. While waiting I took a seat. The cartoon playing is not appropriate at all with explicit language and themes. The service was pretty good! Inside the restaurant was small but clean. The momos themselves were good! Very herby. The sauce was good too.

Great food truck MoMos! I ordered the pork MoMos with medium sauce - they were perfectly cooked and wonderfully flavored. The guy working the truck was very friendly. He even let us know what their most popular order was (cheese balls). The truck seemed clean and even provided sanitizer.

Chicken Momocha: The meat inside was absolutely delicious! We got the mild sauce and it complemented the chicken momocha perfectly. Details about the food truck: There were a few people in front of us, and the wait for our food was less than 10 minutes. They had a box-full of plastic forks which I wished were individually wrapped, but I guess it cuts down on waste.

Initially I was like, "almost $20 for eight momos and some cheese ball?? What?!" But I couldn't take my eyes off these juicy meat-filled dough pillows!! And tbh I don't regret ordering them. If I lived in the area I'd buy their frozen ones in bulk. They do not skimp on filling. And while I like heat, I actually went with their medium sauce because it was the most garlicky. The flavours are very unique, and you actually feel like you're getting a taste of Nepal. Btw, check out their website. This biz is doing pretty cool things for the Seattle community.

Decided to try this spot on a Friday evening for dinner! I ordered ahead online, and was given an estimated pickup time of 20 minutes. When I got to the restaurant, it was not too crowded at all. It's a smallish storefront with around 6 tables, and it is more of a cafe where you place your order, grab your own utensils and napkins, and bus your own table. Very cute space. The person working let me know that it would take about two more minutes, and quite soon after, I got my order! So no complaints about timing, it came out at approximately the time that was predicted, especially as she was clearly putting together a ton of takeout/delivery orders. They also have 3 types of sauces (mild, medium, hot) and I decided to get the "hot". The momos I got were quite good! The beef and pepper Jack were quite flavorful, and the hot sauce was a nice touch, though not necessary since the momos were good on their own with the meat. Next time I'd love to try the chicken, which unfortunately they were sold out of when I went. Will be back!

We ordered an abundant spread, and every dish impressed. The clear crowd favorite was the Singapore black pepper prawns - fragrant, perfectly spiced, and completely addictive. That black pepper sauce was hands down the star of the meal: rich, peppery, and deeply flavorful. It was my favorite and could easily be eaten on everything. The Mala curry crab and XO crab were both outstanding; layered with complex, indulgent flavors. The Thai green chili clams and saus mentega clams were vibrant and comforting, while the crab fried rice had generous morsels of crab folded throughout the dish. We also really enjoyed the Indonesian chicken wings, which were crispy and flavorful, and the stir-fried vegetables, which added a fresh, well-balanced contrast to the seafood-heavy menu. Everything traveled well, was thoughtfully prepared, and made for an unforgettable catered meal. If you're considering catering from Marimakan Crabhouse, I can't recommend it highly enough. Get the black pepper sauce! Amazing from start to finish, and Chef V or Rachel is lovely to work with.

It is somewhat difficult to get a reservation, because the space here is very small and packed with tables. The one downside is that it is a little tight and can be difficult to hear. Because we were so close to our dining neighbors, I was actually able to ask them what they were eating since it looked so good. And that's how we ended up with some mind blowing fritters. A perfect appetizer to start the night. They have a great selection of wines that are actually reasonably priced to buy by the bottle. I'm pretty sure I saw someone taking one home that they drank a few bottles out of also, which is a first. I was impressed by the creativity of the dishes as well. I'm not one to be impressed by cabbage, or ever order it, but the charred cabbage looked enticing. The cheese on the bottom, seasoning, and dates transformed this ordinary vegetable into a star. And of course you gotta see what they're doing with the seasonal veggies. I can't seem to ever cook squash the right way, but they crafted it into the ideal consistency where it was almost meaty. That New York Strip was out of this world though... the garlic sauce that accompanied it was just enough of a flavor enhancer that it didn't take away from a steak that was cooked to the ideal temp.
