They even managed to get me in early on the follow up since they had a cancellation and they wait listed me. Not sure how the pricing compares since medicine is not one of those things that gets comparison shopped (thought it probably should be). The Dr is…read morealways great, I don't feel like he's doing things just to do them (aka gouging) I only have issue with the hygienist, years of military dentists and bad experiences have left me with what you could call high level dental anxiety which then led to years of dental neglect, I'm an adult and I'm well aware that I don't have the greatest dental structure and I'm currently reaping the rewards of my poor past decisions. A ship I'm obviously trying to right (by dropping thousands of dollars a year at this practice no less) what I really don't appreciate is getting brow beaten every time I'm in for a cleaning, yes I'm aware of the state of things, thank you for pointing out the obvious and continuing to perpetuate my dental anxiety. I had dental issues after cancer and chemotherapy and needed a lot of work done. i told him I have fear around dental work but he assured me I would be fine in his care. Once the actuAl worked started started to have a few hesitations. if I tensed while he worked on my teeth he would tell me I just needed to breath deeply and relax. I tried but it was difficult and he would become stern and start talking to me in a lecturing manner. This continued until he had to be out of the office for surgery of some sort and without warning, I came to an appointment and instead of him, a different dentist was there. I felt confused. He ended up removing one of the implant post I had without talking to me about it and his work on my teeth was questionable. I had been fitted with dentures by Dr. K before his surgery and absence. when Dr. K. finally returned he seemed not to remember me and didn't believe me when I told him the dates he had done the work. He told me the dentures had to be much older than I was saying. he had his assistant check and found out I was telling home the truth. It only got worse from there. The dentures never fit correctly and when he would check them he would tell me the fit was good. The last visit broke down quickly. As he checked my teeth he kept asking me if I was grinding my teeth and saying they were fine. I told him that's not what he said before. I said that a number of times in response and he grew angry at me and raised his voice telling me to leave because he couldn't help me. He continued with a raised voice as I stood to leave. He said to me that it would have worked better with a lower bridge and I agreed as he blocked my way out of the room. The other patients were looking at me as I tried to get past him and to the door to leave. I finally got past him and hurried to the door to leave. It was one of the most humiliating experiences in my life.
