Easy to choose what I wanted, I was at first skeptical about ordering and not speaking to anyone considering I am in Alaska and I was ordering next day flowers for my Oma (grandma) including delivery a day before Valentine's Day. No phone call to confirm, no update letting me know they were delivered, I was nervous. My Oma messaged me with photos of the flowers she received and I was so impressed! They looked perfect, even better than the picture, they were delivered on the day I wanted and I didn't have to deal with anyone which actually I prefer. This place is a JOKE! Don't order online because what you order and what's delivered are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! My boyfriend called to tell them they delivered the incorrect arrangement and 2 hours later a lady comes by with what was supposed to be a heart shaped carnation and that was also a mess and like the first order looked nothing like the photo... Don't waste your time, I'm sure there are other Flower shops in the area that can deliver what you order, or even correct their mistake by delivering the correct arrangement the second time around. read more

I ordered two different sets of flowers for my sisters Birthday. The picture she sent to thank me for looked nothing remotely like what I had ordered. It seriously looked like they had grabbed a handful of what ever and threw it in a vase slapped a ribbon on it and called it good and I paid for their premium package. The second flowers where just the same. They were in a tea cup and half of the flowers were hanging ready to fall out. The style of the cup sucked too, nothing like what they showed. I got charged almost $50 to have these delivered to the same address at the same time! A total waste of money. Won't happen again. Save your money and shop somewhere else! read more

I received Mother's day flowers from my daughter in Idaho. The flowers looked like they had been in a hot car all day. Two stems were broken, and the flowers hung off to the side. The red roses were wilted and browned on the edges, and the white roses lost a few petals when I set the vase down. I realize this is a very busy time for florists...but people pay A LOT of money to send flowers, and expect a pretty bouquet like the one they ordered. Very disappointing. read more

This is literally the first yelp review I've ever left, because I couldn't help but do so-- My boyfriend works up north in Alaska, and so he spends 2 weeks here at home, and then travels back up to work for 2 weeks. For about a year now, he has sent me flowers every time he goes back up to work. I have to say -- out of all of the florists he has used for this -- Kathryn's is absolutely above and beyond the best florist I have ever encountered. The arrangements are always STUNNING -- they smell AMAZING -- and they typically stay alive all the way until he comes home again 2 weeks after they've been received! Not happy. I specifically said I wanted the vase that looks like an old blue canning jar. I said it twice. It is pictured on their web site. My daughter in law sent me a photo of the flowers she received in an ugly "typical" green florist vase. I call the florist and she said if I wasn't happy they would go out and pick up the arrangement from my daughter in law. (can you imagine?) She said the person who took my order "Kathy" should have known they didn't have this vase and it wouldn't be in stock for a month. I left a message for the owner to call me and she has not. $92 worth of flowers and not even a return call to apologize. Don't believe what they tell you. BBB is my next conversation. read more

I am not pleased with my experience yesterday afternoon. I was quoted a $4 per rose price. And was rung up for $72. When I pointed out that the $4 price, I was then told the roses are $4.50 each. My relatives were in the hot sun waiting outside, so I paid $58.91 in the interest of time. I wish I had insisted on paying $48 plus tax -- this transaction and ring up felt dishonest. read more

Flowers were very nice and my wife was excited to get them. My only complaint was that I mentioned more than once that my wife starts work at 1PM and that I would like them delivered after 2. I even asked the one taking my order what time they would be delivered and she said after 2. They actually got delivered before my wife started work and it took away the joy of being there when they were brought. read more

She asked what colors I wanted in the arrangement and said she would put it together within my price range. 5 star service, 5 star arrangement. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I was looking to brighten up my sister's day with a flower arrangement that I knew she would love. Minutes after placing my order online for same-day delivery, a woman called to tell me that the arrangement wouldn't look exactly like the photo due to inventory restrictions, but asked that I pick out the recipients next favorite color and she would make sure it was as close to it as possible. She exceeded my expectations in every way by taking the time to call me, and not just pick out a substitute color like a lot of other vendors do. Furthermore, my same-day delivery only took a matter of hours to get to my sister. She received the arrangement and told me "she cannot believe how beautiful it is!" Her day was immediately turned around thanks to the time and consideration this company puts into their work. I will absolutely refer all of my friends and family members to this establishment. They went above and beyond and left an impression to last a lifetime. The woman I spoke to worked today, 8.18.17 and called me around 11:30 PST. I have never written a bad review on line but felt this was necessary. My husband's Grandfather had recently passed away and he was cremated. His family held the funeral at Marysville Cemetery, last Sat, Aug 23rd. I had ordered some flowers to be delivered to the cemetery 3-4 days prior. I had ordered a large, all white bouquet with a special request to have a tasteful, red, white and blue ribbon place around the vase, as it was a military funeral. I specifically asked that it not be a "pick" that it be wrapped around the vase. ...Well, what we received was not a large bouquet but a small version. The ribbon that was used, was so cheap, tacky and so wrinkled, it looked like it was grabbed out of bottom junk drawer, they couldn't even take the time to wrap it around the vase, they cut a stem off of what looked like a carnation, and took floral wire and wrapped the ribbon around the stem and shoved it into the arrangement. It looked AWFUL! then the card I had asked for was not the message I had given the attendant (that was FTD's error) However, it wasn't printed, it was and scribbled and barely legible. Needless to say, we were VERY disappointed in the arrangement. I will NEVER use this florist again. It would be one thing if it were a birthday or something but in this case this was a funeral for a military man, who died at 101 years old. VERY DISSAPOINTED KATHRYN'S FLOWERS. SHAME ON YOU!
