The only reason we stick with this clinic for as long as we did was because we were new in town, needed a vet, and they accepted care credit. There is no discount for multiple pets, medication prices are near double of what you would pay for them elsewhere, and they refuse to allow you to refill prescriptions with places such as Valley Vet or 1-800-petmeds unless you pay a fee to them for releasing the information. The receptionist is unfriendly, rude, and not helpful. According to the vet she also lies. The vet is short, lacks interest in talking with you about plan of care, and overall seems more interested in making money than she does about the health of your pet. After spending an ungodly amount of money at this clinic, I was told I would need an $800 deposit to bring my dog in who had open, infected, wounds. We got the dog treated at home and through another vet for around $75. Several months later we needed a prescription verification for heart worm meds. Ginger called to tell me they would refill meds for all 4 of my dogs and she would get them ready for me to pick up. However, I said that we would be going through valley vet and to expect their call. She called back about 5 minutes later saying they would charge me $30 for a prescription fee for that. I refused and later had it out with the vet who said she never told the receptionist to tell me I could get the prescription from them. Anyway, nice facility does not equal a good practice. He also was very interested in learning all he could about her condition and what caused her death for his own knowledge. He had already had a hectic morning but with such professionalism he took her straight into surgery to fix her wounds. His team contacted us to give us an update.
