Their quick walk in service is amazing. Very accommodating!! I typically get the pedicure but today I also got the manicure. Mostly cause I suffered an injury during a recent surgery which has left me with palsy in my dominant hand. Makes it very difficult to do certain things for myself and these guys are great. I've been coming here for about 3 yrs off and on and they always remember me. So very relaxing.

In addition, my nails were always $35. He would keep charging my card more and more each visit without even telling me! I thought this was rude and poor customer service. I finally asked, his response was $2 for cutting my nails? I get simple one color gel polish no design. Don't you trim them cuz they grew out? Originally $35 went all the way up to $42 for my nails. Pedicure was always $25 and went up $27 without notifying me, just charging my card. I don't mind if they let me know it advanced, don't just grab my card and charge a new price. Anyhow, it's unfortunate but I will find someone new.

The staff are always really nice and remember you when you go back. I regularly get a pedicure with Lucy and she's great! Peter did my nails once too and he is very precise. I don't get manicures but a friend of mine goes to Peter and they look amazing every time. Highly recommend and will keep coming here while I live in the area. read more

I don't know if the workers there are the owners, but they were nice. Smaller salon, which I like because it is more personable. It is tucked away in a strip mall. Brought my daughter in for a gel polish as a treat for back to school. When I called in the morning, the lady who answered told me gel manicure for a teen is $20. I was surprised when I was charged $22 for a gel polish. I would think a polish would cost less than a manicure. I took one star off because of this. Even with this surprise, I would recommend the salon as a gentleman did a great job. My teen is still happy days later! read more

I've been going to Katie's Nails for seven years now, and I have always had a great experience. Peter does an excellent job on my nails, and pedicures are always awesome. Their prices are reasonable, they are honest and always do their best to make sure their customers are happy. Usually, the people that complain do not communicate what they need or if they have an issue or they are just trying to get something for free. Peter and Katie will always do what they can to resolve an issue. And, also, some people are never happy no matter what. read more

I have been going to Katie for years and her attention to detail is not like any other person you will find. Her and her husband Peter opened up the shop a few years back. Before that I would go to her at another salon for over 10 years, so she definitely knows what she is doing. She does all the things that other nail techs forget to do like make sure each nail is the same length, turn the nails around so that they are straight across instead of crooked and make sure to trim all of the extra skin from around the cuticle. You wouldn't think that this is very hard to find at other salons, but it definitely is. I also like my nails thin, and she knows how to do them just perfectly! If you're looking for attention to detail, and very nice people look no further! Family owned and operated, and they truly care about their customers. read more

I have never felt more at home in this salon. The owners and employees went above and beyond my expectations. I have a nail encapsulated and i was blown away by my tech nickis skills. She was the most incredible nail tech ever. This is my forever home. I tried them for the first time (which is scary because I'm very picky about my nails) but they were able to get me right in, they were all so kind. Katie did my nails and they are literally perfect when I typically get my nails done I have to fix a few things with the file once I leave but I didn't they were literally perfect. highly recommend :) read more

today 6/20, first time i used this nail salon. i mean, i walked in and the lady were kind of arguing in their language. it made me feel like it was about me! the owner said they are arguing about who gets the next client. the lady that did my nails, was ok. but she charged me for "cutiing" my nail??? ming you i normally have my nails short, but it was 4 weeks since i had it redone! and what do you think "thier cutting it short" means, she filed it just a little down! that's what there meaning of "cutting down" down means! i went for a refill and pedi (gel polish), like i always do. they are greedy! i give her a $3.00 tip, since the bill was $93.00. there goes her tip!!! i'm usally very generous, but i couldn't imagine her charging me for that! read more

This place is THE BEST!! It is the only place I will get a manicure or pedicure from at all. I followed Katie after she left Star Nails to open this place and have seen it evolve over time. She is amazing. She has a great staff! They stay up on all the new trends with nails out there. I have brought many friends there that have converted from their nail salons as well. It's great! Stopped by on saturday and it was pretty busy. I had to wait about 15-20 minutes for my pedicure and full set which generally I would be annoyed about but it was busy and Kate was super attentive and apologetic. I got a natural full set and I'm pleased with the overall job. I didn't like the way they did my pedicure at all but I'm picky when it comes to my feet so I won't judge harshly for it. They also have great hours at this location so I'll definitely be coming back. read more

A great spot! I'm new to town and read several reviews to help find a new nail salon. I opted to try Katie's based on the reviews which said; clean, efficient, no real small talk, and actual walk in service, which is everything I like. I stopped in on a Thursday shortly after opening. There were two ladies getting pedicures and a free nail tech. I asked if I could get a fill and pick out my colors. The nail tech greeted me and brought me to his station. Sorry I never asked his name. He was very attentive to my nails and ensured that they were perfect. I'm very happy with his service and I'll definitely be back. read more

I'm very unhappy with the experience I had here today. I came to get one nail fixed that had broke since I had them ago about a week ago. They had me wait for at least 15 minutes while they had multiple workers just sitting there on their phones. I was told it was $4 to fix the nail when I went to pay, which I was fine with, but I've never been charged to get one nail fixed. I didn't have any cash and they told me they had a $15 card minimum and they would have to charge me that much since it was their minimum?? I've never heard something so ridiculous and obviously I'm really annoyed and will not be returning. read more

Do not come here. You will be here for almost 2 hours for a gel pedicure and you will wait for one hour to just get your gel taken OFF. They will keep saying 5 minutes, 5 minutes and it's an hour later. Not worth it, time is money and I could of done so many other things in 2 hours!!! On a Saturday, you would think they'd have enough staff to accommodate their guests. read more

I came to Katie's for a gel manicure and was sat down as soon as I walked in the door. The staff is super nice and friendly. I don't know who did my nails but it was a nice lady! I liked her a lot she was accommodating , polite, and nice! I was looking at the many gel polish colors and needed a couple of minutes, excuse my indecisiveness. You can't give me to many options. The lady was eager to help me choose the colors and even went through the different color models. I'm glad this place is a minute drive from home. read more

It's a random thing to notice, but I miss when they played the home improvement shows. However, since I was there with my sister we were busy chatting instead. Their no frills pedicure (which is still great) is $33, which I think is a great deal. I feel like my feet were pampered and I have a new color that stays on pretty long. Overall I really like this place and I'll keep coming back for pedicures. If you have an appointment they are pretty on the ball about making sure they see you on time.

When speaking to Oliver (my hand nail tech all these years), I wasn't happy but understood it seemed like the funguses came all at same time from one "bad" fill... ok, I guess that can happen to anyone. Bad application or bad liquid, idk but I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt to make it right. However I was surprised at his reaction and lack of responsibility... despite my trying to be understanding. Oliver is a good tech however when a business owner doesn't apologize or make any attempt to correct an error completely, it basically communicated another side of the business I didn't want to continue to be exposed to. Not caring is not acceptable.

I have followed Katie wherever she goes since January of 2014. I was actually shocked to see the earlier "One Star" review from this afternoon. I was there when that customer "Lorna" arrived. She made a complete spectacle of herself with her rudeness and demands. The nail salon was quite full at her arrival, and we all had to listen to her ranting and raving about having an appointment and having to wait (which since she just arrived...did not happen). I read that she speaks and understands "their language" which happens to be Vietnamese. I know this because I understand the language...I am Vietnamese. I, therefore feel obligated to write this review to counter her comments. There was no discussion about how the customer was acting, who she was, or what she was saying. So I am saying all this to let people know that you cannot always trust reviews because some people are just simply crazy. I am not paid nor was I asked to write this review. I'm simply trying to right a wrong. Katie's Nail salon is a great place for nail services and they go above and beyond to try and satisfy their customers. People who carry themselves like that should stay home and do their own manicures and pedicures! read more

I walked in first thing on a Saturday morning and was able get started on a spa mani/pedi right away! They filled up quickly throughout the morning, but never rushed and provided great service. Together I paid $40 (exc tip) and was there for nearly two hours - being pampered the entire time. This is definitely my go to place to get my nails done. I even used them for my wedding manicure/pedicure as did my maid of honor, who had traveled in from out of town. The staff is friendly, professional, and my pedicures (which is what I normally get when I go there) last longer than other places that I've been to in the past. My favorite thing there is the pedicures, which are divine, particularly the foot massage and hot towels. Everyone there has done a fabulous job and I strongly recommend this nail salon! read more

Katie and her husband are amazing. They take the time to make sure your nails are perfect, but the never waste your time or money. Goes pretty quickly, great pricing, and hands down best nails I've ever gotten!! Pedicures are top notch, they really give a quality relaxing experience. Katie and Peter have a wonderful work ethic and are perfectionists. They will always try to accommodate you. They have a wonderful spa pedicure with massage chairs and everyone is very friendly that works there. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've been going to them since they opened 7 or 8 years ago.
