Beef fajitas, the presentation was beautiful and the little extras like the shells for the beans took it over the top.

The most amazing Mexican food I've had since moving to the Spaulding county and surrounding areas. Not only was the food authentic, the manager/owner was amazing. Making sure that all my requests were met. I definitely will be back and will be bringing friends.

We love the Molecajete. The one for one person is enough for both my husband and I. We're not big eaters at night so this is ideal. Great variety, good flavor, and nice sides. The beans are - in my opinion- THE best! I always get an order to go. Service is prompt. Nice and open inside. Would be nice if they had some outside seating.

The exterior of the building has a bright check me out feel. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted right away by several servers. They were all very welcoming. Our server arrived within a couple minutes for our party of 5. We ordered 1 water, 2 unsweet teas, a margarita and the table guac (which was made in front of us). Y'all it was so fresh tasting and so good. We order 2 sets of fajitas one was for two people which we shared with our 2 year old and the other a single serving for our two family members to share. The food came out relatively quickly our drinks remained filled the entire time. For a table of 5 we had leftovers the proportions are more than you would expect. The bathrooms were kept up and the vibe of the entire restaurant was great. I wouldn't consider this an upscale place this would be good for large gatherings though. Out of 5 being the best Cleanliness: **** Friendliness: ***** Price: ** Getting a lot for little Food: **** Not the best Mexican restaurant I have ate at, but was still ok.

1st time trying Katrinas and we'll definitely be back. You can judge a mexican restaurant by the quality of the chips & salsa. Katrinas has nice, thin, chips & you're served 2 salsas when seated. For traditional salsa was flavorful, not spicy & had a pureed texture. It was tasty but the other salsa you're served was delicious. It was a roasted tomato salsa that I fell in love with. I ordered a bowl w/chicken & my father ordered the same bowl but with steak. The meat on both bowls was tender & flavorful. The bowls are served with the meat & toppings all on top of rice & the meat portion is covered in cheese sauce. You also get black beans, sour cream, pico, guacamole, grilled onions & fresh corn. The corn tasted like it was fresh from the cobb. I was concerned from the pics that we would end up with canned sodas but the sodas were fountain & the coke was exceptional - nice & crisp. 4 out of 5 stars because imo the portion could have been a tiny bit bigger as a nice Togo plate would have been great to have with some of the leftover roasted tomato salsa

This is the first time I've been back to this place since the previous owners sold it. The food was very salty but if you like salty food like myself it was very tasty. The fish was grilled to perfection and the shrimp were not overcooked so the texture was on point. My drink was fresh and hit the spot. And finally the service was consistent and friendly. I will be back.

Our third time here and it's always magnificent! Came for Father's Day and although it was busy the service was still too notch. Food was delicious. Hubby ordered the fajitas and si ordered the seafood soup. Yummmm! We ordered a few margs (la Fresca) to go with our food and wow! Great place to visit.

It was early on a Tuesday night, so it wasn't very busy. My drink came out quickly, and the food followed not long after. I ordered the Tequila Mockingbird cocktail, which was amazing, but only if you're a mezcal fan. If you're not into that smoky flavor, this probably isn't your drink. For food, I asked the bartender what burger to get, and she recommended the classic burger with cheese, so I went with that and added sweet potato fries. The burger and fries were delicious, simple, well done, and exactly what I was hoping for. The inside has a really nice dark, rustic vibe that fits the town perfectly. Staff was friendly, and overall the whole experience felt easy and relaxed. They do take reservations, but since I went early, I didn't need one. I can definitely see this place getting packed with tourists during busier times. Overall, a great spot in a charming little town. I'd come back.

Service was great, especially for a busy weekend. Our appetizer came out pretty quick, but there was a bit of a wait for our meals. Longer than expected, which is why I feel like the food was left under a heat lamp; as my chicken was a tad on the tough side. We ordered the: Margherita flatbread Nic-N-Chicken Southern Fried Ribs Brussels sprouts Sweet potato fries Sidewinder fries Gouda grits Mashed Potatoes The flatbread was fantastic! My husband said his ribs were pretty good. The grits and mashed potatoes, both rich, thick and creamy, perfect texture and flavor on both. The side winder fries had a fun shape, and fried just right. The sauce on the Nic-N-Chicken was so good it made me forget it was overcooked. It was like a BBQ based sauce with onions and mushrooms over chicken breast The Brussels sprouts had goat cheese and normally comes with bacon, which I omitted. Loved it! The sweet potato fries were cut thick and also fried to perfection. The only down side was the overcooked chicken and the extended wait which I think led to the culinary boo boo. Over all: Great food, customer service, ambience, location! I'll definitely return, you should check em' out as well:)

Farm-to-table dining is the central core at Austin's and the menu boasts a focus on rotating seasonal dishes and bar snacks. The beverage menu lists skillfully crafted cocktails using botanicals from local farms, including ones on the property, to create unique cocktails with herbal and floral flavors...no premade mixes or lower quality liquors here. On my latest visit we arrived just in time for Saturday night jazz (9pm-11pm $10 cover charge per guest). Unfortunately there was a mixup with the jazz artist scheduled to perform that night, through no fault of the restaurant, and the entertainment started about an hour late. However once the show started and the lighting dimmed, it added a different vibe to the entire restaurant that both the diners and employees thoroughly enjoyed. The jazz artist was absolutely amazing! My husband and I were seated at the bar but had a perfect view since the establishment is fairly small. We dined on the Little Gem Caesar which consisted of grilled lettuce, burnt garlic, anchovies, and lemon ($15). The Crispy Rice Salad which is locally sourced Serenbe Farms greens, cucumber, pickled carrot and daikon, peanuts, edamame, fried shallots ($19), The Short Rib dinner with fermented honey, crispy potatoes, crushed herbs, Jus, chilis, garlic, pickled shallots ($39). For our cocktails, we enjoyed the Austin's mule, the Tropic of Cancer, and the Front Porch Swing. All were delicious! The food was also enjoyable. The only downside was the portion sizes of some of the dishes. The Little Gem Ceaser for example consisted of only 2 romaine lettuce leaves and a wedge of lemon. It definitely left you yearning for more. There was also a halibut dish that we've had on a past visit that was the size of my palm with no sides or salad to accompany it. Other than that, Austin's is a must. From the ambiance, to the thoughtful presentation and flavor of the food and drinks, as well as the exceptional service. It's a definite go-to when wanting that night life feel away from the city.
