Savor A Mexico Nachos with Shredded Chicken

My nachos were delicious. There must have been at least a pound of shredded chicken on them. This dish is without a doubt designed for more than one person. I only ate half. The service was excellent. The servers were smiling very friendly. I even saw one dancing to the music playing. She obviously enjoyed working there. The ambiance was very nice. There was very peppy Latin music playing. My experience was very nice. I will be back to try more menu options.

Great food and service. We have been here for last 2 years and their staff is amazing and they go out of their way to make us feel special every single time.

Fantastic! Maru and the crew give excellent service, the food is so flavorful and authentic, we had the trio appetizer, the quesabirria is the bomb! Clean restaurant. We have been back 3 times already in a short period of time.

Overall 5/5: My go-to spot in Fayetteville for great drinks and food. I come here often with my family and friends for any occasion. Drinks 5/5: We always go jumbo with the margaritas. My favorite flavor combination is the peach and mango. Great deal everytime, awesome for large groups. Food 5/5: I've tried a good bit of the menu and love everything, which is why I get the trio rex; comes with a little bit of everything. It comes with flautas, nachos, and quesadillas. Awesome for someone who can't ever decide what they want. Service 5/5: Always friendly and personable. We have had great service every visit. Thank you, Sabor a Mexico!

It wasn't greasy or sloppy. Just good, solid, flavorful pizza done right. They also serve beer and wine, which is always a plus when you're pairing it with a hot, fresh pie. The vibe inside is cool and relaxed nothing over-the-top, just a chill spot to sit down and enjoy your food. And it's in walking distance from the hotel, which made it even better. But the service was so awful it was hard to enjoy ourselves. It that it seemed like none of the staff had ever worked in a restaurant before. I watched at least 8 occasions where the wait staff couldn't figure out where drinks or food were to be delivered. There were only 8 tables seated on our side. We waited too long for our drinks. But the drinks were great and looked beautiful. If water was refilled, only half table received refills. We couldn't get anyone's attention for refills, etc. despite two individuals standing near our table for most of the meal. They didn't help our waiter and demanded to remove items from the table. They put their hands fully in our drinks while removing them. They would dump my silverware on the table off a plate. They didn't offer new silverware. They then decided to move furniture for a group sitting about three feet away. While one of our party was in the restroom, her chair was abruptly yanked from the table and another table was pushed past us while we were eating. Eventually another chair was given to us but it really startled me and disrupted our meal. Our appetizers and entrees were all fantastic. I would love for this restaurant to do well at Trilith but they must get an experienced wait staff. It was hard to enjoy the meal.

True to hubs nature, his eyes are bigger than his stomach and he over orders wanting to try numerous entrees. My Southern Baby Wedge featured a quartered baby iceberg head that was super crisp and crunchy. It was beautifully garnished with blue cheese crumbles, tri colored cherry tomatoes, crisp bacon and pickled onions. The creamy dressing was a wonderful accompaniment. The several bites hubs shared of his Smash Burger were DELISH and the fresh thinly sliced onions and lettuce provided a nice crunch. Drippy, beefy, cheesy goodness! Hubs add on of Blueberry Pancakes were equally as fantastic as the other items we ordered. I loved the unique combo of flavors-blueberries, maple, lemon zest, vanilla bean - so yummy! We hope to return!

It's always sad to me when this happens, because in my opinion having great food is the hard part. Seeing them excel in that but fail the easy stuff is hard :( What they struck out on: - host and hostess chatting when we walked up, they seemed to be complaining about something. We didn't receive any smiles. Didn't feel like they wanted to be there. Yes I understand it's a job, but warm welcomes are important and they are the first impression for a customer when they walk in. - It was 80 degrees and dreadfully humid outside since it had been raining. They had the doors open and I didn't see or feel any fans or air conditioning running. I saw a patron using a hand fan while we ate. - Since there was no air conditioning running, all the steam from the dishwashing and cooking in the kitchen came out to the dining area and lingered in the air the entire time we ate. We thought it was smoke at first but it didn't have a smell, when we walked out to leave I felt the steam leaving the kitchen area - Unbearably loud. I'm not sure why the acoustics are so bad but there is just nothing absorbing any noise. All the ruckus just echoes. Pretty sure this was mainly due to the tables being somewhat close together and the chairs having no sound buffers. It was suuuper loud when people got up to leave and when bussers were cleaning the tables. - Out of the fried green tomatoes which we were excited to order. - I ran out of water while eating. My drink didn't get filled until maybe 10-15 mins later. - Our waitress was running around, very busy. We didn't get checked on that much. It wasn't her fault. She was very courteous and was working hard. They seemed to not have enough staff on hand. - The napkins shed everywhere? When I opened my napkin a cloud of lint came up from it. It was all over my black shorts when we left. - Ends of the tables were all scratched up. - Decor is a bit of a hodgepodge. Having fake candles at each table for a place that gives southern farmhouse is an interesting choice. - The pimento cheese plate came with only 5 mini pieces of toast. We had to ask for more which was an upcharge. There's no way all the pimento cheese could be eaten on 5 pieces. Their home runs: - The food was amazing. I really liked the steak frites. I ordered the steak medium. It was nice and tender. The fries were seasoned and crispy. The chimichurri sauce was great. My friend and I both liked the pimento cheese and the bread that it came with. We weren't crazy about the house pickles. My friend loved her caesar salad. - The prices are great. Super affordable for high quality food. - Menu is expansive. - We had no wait to be seated. - No trouble parking. Location is convenient. As you can see, the list of cons is very very long. It was truly an odd thing to experience, since the place had such great food. I'm thinking the Curious Pig needs a restaurant management consultant or something? We might try this place again sometime later. We'll see.

Based on the food pictures and first three reviews, I was sold. I had to go. As Rose's Tacos is right in Downtown Fayetteville it was super easy to find and there was ample parking. As it was a Saturday night, the natural flow of the block added to the vibrant vibe that was coming out of Rose's Tacos as the e door opened and closed. I was already excited before even walking inside. Once inside, the sign advised us to seat ourselves so we sat at the bar. Rose's Tacos is super vibrant, very bright, and has an ambiance that fits date night as well as family night. No matter the tone you are looking to fit, Rose's Tacos is a win. Deciding to sit at the bar, we walked in, headed to our left and took a seat. Once at the bar, the bartender greeted us with a smile, welcomed us to Rose's Tacos, and provided us with menus. Rose's Tacos has a broad selection of food. Though it is a Mexican restaurant, there are a few American favorites on the menu. LoL!!! After taking a moment going back and forth on what I wanted as there were sooooooo many appealing options, I decided on a Steak Burrito with Fries and a Sweet Tea. Simple yet intricate. As we waited, the bartender delivered the complimentary Chips and Salsa and they set the tone for my tongue-readiness. LoL! The chips were crunchy and fresh. Not too salty yet salty enough. The salsa was flavorful and smooth with the right amount of chunkiness. Oh yes, Rose's Tacos understands the importance of a good Chip and Salsa to set the food tone. Once my food was ready and I could see the waitress walking it over, I felt my stomach smile. Haha!!! The playing was simple yet pretty and the food smelled amazing. The scents alone captured the attention of my taste buds and forced them to pay attention to what was on my plate. The Steak Burrito was filled with fresh ingredients, robust flavors, and perfectly done meat. The meat to fixins ratio was spot on and the grilled-ness of the shell married everything together so well. I'm talking Burrito perfection. The fries were well done just as I had requested and were golden brown, perfectly salted, and paired perfectly with the burrito. I mean geesh. What a better way to end a Friday night then with a great meal from Rose's Tacos! All is all, my experience at Rose's Tacos was stellar. From the service to the ambiance to the establishment itself. It was clean, customer focused, and inviting. I will definitely be back. Oh yeah, and the Sweat Tea... Yes Ma'ammmmmmmmmm. Whoever made that sweet tea knew I was coming because it was Southern Perfection.
