Chandelier

It took a fair amount of time to get the food even though we were the only people there. Apparently the flatbread was burnt while preparing but we were told about it. They comped it from the bill and were super apologetic. I loved the inside and all of the pictures on the walls, including the one of the cast where everyone's faces were photoshopped into it. The food itself was decent but nothing special. I'd go more for the experience rather than a great meal.

Mimosa and a hot toddy they made on the spot!

The service and food were great for brunch! The Philly fry scramble was so so good! The bartender was able to make me a hot toddy even though it wasn't on the menu!

Absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and tour server made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding--very flavorful. I will definitely come back to visit.

Outside seating..

Outside seating was amazing today, Spectacular service very friendly and attentive even gave recommendations because it was the first time here Food was hot a delicious fantastic portion. I recommend the mozzarella cheese as a appetizer light crispy and fresh loved the breading, the only thing I would change would be a little thicker pork belly on the burger. Great flavor and cooked perfect. This place is a Gem. I will definitely be back!

The beers on tap are great for sharing with your wife on a lazy Sunday!

My wife and I have enjoyed a few good dates here now! We like to come after Church and enjoy a bite and a beer. The staff are friendly and the ambiance is kinda old timey! The food is pretty good here and the staff are always friendly! I appreciate that they are keeping southern hospitality alive! More places need to bring that back! They ask you how you are doing and talk to you. My wife had cravings for cheesecake, and as soon as she saw one pass by, she had to have it! It was really good! It's interesting because sometimes when you go to a supposed fancy restaurant, the cheesecake is so so. Not here! It was fresh, and I think it was homemade. If not, it would have to be from a local maker because it really had a homemade taste! If you are in the area, Nic and Norman's is a must try! My wife and I will definitely be back!

Nice size bar to enjoy a beer or glass of wine. With fast and friendly service I received my sampler.I choose the mac and cheese made with pimento, cheddar and bread crumbs ,the sidewinders and sweet potato fries. The food was delish. They have street parking. Theres even a merchandise area to buy t shirts, hats and very cool necklaces. Which I bought all three and was extremely happy with.

This is a must stop for any walking dead fan.Plenty of street parking. A huge bar for your cocktail needs.A gift shop area to purchase hats, shirts or jewelry. With speedy service and a smile I received my sampler.I got the sidewinder fries, sweet potato fries and a side of Mac and cheese which included panko breadcrumbs and shredded cheddar and pimento cheese .Everything was hot and delicious.

If you're a Walking Dead fan visiting Senoia, this is a must. A bar and tavern with a classic feel and more than a few nods to the TWD series and others. The food was genuinely good, the beer was great, the atmosphere was unique, and the service was polite and friendly. Being a lunch stop in the middle of a full day TWD set location tour was simply perfect.

There burgers are the best! Fast and friendly service and the setting is dim and perfect for a date night.

Brisket Nachos

The very first restaurant I tried in Senoia was actually Nic & Norman's, it's taken me months to decide if I wanna write the review now or wait till I properly eat my way through the entire menu But there was one dish that stood out above all, and it triggered my taste buds that motivated me to start writing again. N&N's needs no introduction, it's a celebrity owned restaurant, and I'm sure tons of The Walking Dead fans have came to visit in hordes. However, I don't buy into big names and hot shots...I truly believe that good food speaks for itself. Compliments to the chef, the food absolutely sang. It was a casual lunch shared amongst my broski and my mama. The two of them neglected to share their food or pictures with me Big broski scarfed down the Shrimp and Grits Cakes so quickly that he himself forgot to snap a photo. Taste? 8/10, and he's a picky eater. He's had so much Shrimp and Grits in the South that an 8 is basically a gold medal in his book. My mama had a simple Bacon Burger. She wanted to play it safe. Because ya know...if a hot restaurant can't make a burger, what we doing? To my surprise, the woman that literally only ever give compliments to Asian food, said she loved the burger. Full on The patty was juicy. The flavors were all there. That smokey bacon aroma made its way into the entire burger, it was balanced, it was non greasy, it was simply fantastic. Really wish Mama had saved me a bite. And then there was me. I ordered the Brisket Nachos. Nachos is a very simple dish that actually many fail to deliver. Shoutout to me back in college drizzling cheese on chips thinking I made awesome nachos. Brisket, another tough dish to nail. Don't cook long enough, and you're basically chewing on cubed steak. Over cook it and well...hope you like soup. To combine Brisket and Nachos into one is quite brilliant and I might say seemingly a daunting task. The juice from the brisket can easily soak up all the chips and I'm just not a fan of wet chips. This dish however, delivered something extraordinary. The beef brisket was tender, but not overflowing with runaway broth. The chef made a jus (look at me pretending I know what I'm talking about ) and it became the perfect compliment sauce to its counterpart hand sliced potato chips. Is it hand sliced or AI? Stop on by and find out for yourself. Taste of the brisket - Solid 9. It really takes a juicy brisket to trigger a 10 out of me. Taste of the nacho chips - 8. I'd like to see a bit less grease on the chips. Nachos are rich and filled with flavors and texture and when a tad bit too much grease joins the party, it makes it harder to finish the dish. Honestly, the nachos really should've been shared by the table. Just enough decadent bites to open your appetite for the entrees. Lunch that day was absolutely perfect. And it's all thanks to our server, Susan Lee. I got lucky, because she no longer works there. Susan gave me a whole bunch of tips regarding the town of Senoia, since she heard I'd be moving here soon. She also saw that I was storyboarding a spec ad car commercial and she gave me pointers on where to scout for filming locations. I am absolutely blessed that Susan kindly remembered me and even responded to one of my questions in the Senoia Locals group. She and her awesome boyfriend invited me to eat again at N&N's and my goodness...y'all ready for the winning dish? The. Whiskey. Citrus. Salmon. Oh yeah, it deserved its own line. When the waiter/waitress asks you how you'd like the salmon cooked, believe me, the only choice is "charred." I know. I suspected the fish would be blackened or jerked and just not very tasty. Because salmon, albeit a popular fish, is a pretty difficult fish to get right. Ask me how I know What arrived in front of me was something out of Food Network. My picture doesn't do it justice, I really need to bring some lights with me next time. The aroma from the dish hit me first and I already could taste the salmon. My fork met its crispy texture and it was music to my ears. Even though it was "charred" on the outside, the fish was beautifully and evenly cooked. It was tender, it was fresh, it was ingredients singing in harmony. Paired with a bed of kale salad and some mashed potatoes, my taste buds were in absolute delight. So what's the verdict? Am I going back again? Uh, yes ma'am. I'd like to try the steak soon, but I'm afraid of having high expectations. I've got trust issues with both humans and food. But, Nic and Norman's, well done. Faith restored in tasty food. More please.

We made a quick stop for a drink and some apps! (Sat at the bar ) And this place did not disappoint ! If you are a walking dead fan ..THIS IS A MUST STOP ! Friendly staff and super dimmed / intimate vibe even thought the place itself is HUGE. When back in Atlanta def will be dropping by to try the rest of the menu .

Pickle Fries
Darian H.

Came here the other night while visiting family! Such a cool vibe inside! Very low lighting! We got the fried mozzarella, which was really good for a starter. We also got the pickle fries, which my family enjoyed, I'm not a pickle fan. Then I got a glass of Pinot Grigio which was pretty tasty. My entree, I got the brisket Mac n cheese, which was sooooo good, I like the bbq sauce on top! The brisket was cooked to perfection. I would definitely come here again if I ever visit Senoia again! Highly recommend.

I ordered the pub smash burger and my friend got the Irish grilled cheese. My burger was good. The Irish grilled cheese was awesome. I would probably order that next time but there's other things on the menu I want to try too! We both liked their fries. For the drinks, we ordered the blueberry & pineapple don sour and the blackberry margarita. Both of them were really good. Our server was awesome. It seemed like a bit of a one woman show for a while there lol - she was greeting, hostessing, serving, and bartending. I can't remember her name exactly but she had blonde hair that was a little bit shy of shoulder length and she was very friendly. Whoever that was, give her a raise haha. She was quick and we liked her vibes. The food took a little bit of time but it was also a dead part of the afternoon and everything came out piping hot so definitely fresh/cooked to order. I'm willing to wait for that :) this is a place you come to enjoy, not eat fast and leave. The prices were reasonable, the menu was expansive, and the parking was plentiful since it's downtown and there are a good bit of spots around. The location is convenient and you can walk around afterward. The inside was beautiful; I loved the ambiance of it. Oh and last but not least - bathroom was nice and clean!! We honestly loved this place and I am certain I will be back.

I suggest medium and with some pepper. It's fantastic and, in my opinion, the best burger in Senoia. The green beans have also been consistently crisp and fresh-tasting. As an additional suggestion, enjoy the cobb salad with Maguires' homemade ranch dressing. The salad includes sliced avocado, sliced egg, and chopped bacon. The cobb salad is FABULOUS all by itself let alone paired with the St. James Burger. Cheers!

My husband and I have never had a bad meal here, and the rotating seasonal menu is a huge plus. You can really taste how fresh the food is. The last time I visited, I tried the chicken Alfredo and was floored by how delicious it was. The service is just the icing on the cake!

It's always sad to me when this happens, because in my opinion having great food is the hard part. Seeing them excel in that but fail the easy stuff is hard :( What they struck out on: - host and hostess chatting when we walked up, they seemed to be complaining about something. We didn't receive any smiles. Didn't feel like they wanted to be there. Yes I understand it's a job, but warm welcomes are important and they are the first impression for a customer when they walk in. - It was 80 degrees and dreadfully humid outside since it had been raining. They had the doors open and I didn't see or feel any fans or air conditioning running. I saw a patron using a hand fan while we ate. - Since there was no air conditioning running, all the steam from the dishwashing and cooking in the kitchen came out to the dining area and lingered in the air the entire time we ate. We thought it was smoke at first but it didn't have a smell, when we walked out to leave I felt the steam leaving the kitchen area - Unbearably loud. I'm not sure why the acoustics are so bad but there is just nothing absorbing any noise. All the ruckus just echoes. Pretty sure this was mainly due to the tables being somewhat close together and the chairs having no sound buffers. It was suuuper loud when people got up to leave and when bussers were cleaning the tables. - Out of the fried green tomatoes which we were excited to order. - I ran out of water while eating. My drink didn't get filled until maybe 10-15 mins later. - Our waitress was running around, very busy. We didn't get checked on that much. It wasn't her fault. She was very courteous and was working hard. They seemed to not have enough staff on hand. - The napkins shed everywhere? When I opened my napkin a cloud of lint came up from it. It was all over my black shorts when we left. - Ends of the tables were all scratched up. - Decor is a bit of a hodgepodge. Having fake candles at each table for a place that gives southern farmhouse is an interesting choice. - The pimento cheese plate came with only 5 mini pieces of toast. We had to ask for more which was an upcharge. There's no way all the pimento cheese could be eaten on 5 pieces. Their home runs: - The food was amazing. I really liked the steak frites. I ordered the steak medium. It was nice and tender. The fries were seasoned and crispy. The chimichurri sauce was great. My friend and I both liked the pimento cheese and the bread that it came with. We weren't crazy about the house pickles. My friend loved her caesar salad. - The prices are great. Super affordable for high quality food. - Menu is expansive. - We had no wait to be seated. - No trouble parking. Location is convenient. As you can see, the list of cons is very very long. It was truly an odd thing to experience, since the place had such great food. I'm thinking the Curious Pig needs a restaurant management consultant or something? We might try this place again sometime later. We'll see.
