Came here a few weeks ago because my sister lives nearby, and I love the place! From the outside, I felt like I would only get to window shop, but the prices are VERY reasonable! I got a super cute dress for a yacht party and it was barely $40! Service was great, and the store layout was very nice. Not too cluttered, but plentiful in lots of cute clothes, shoes and accessories. I definitely want to go back and shop more!! read more

So I came into the store today and purchased a $45 dollar necklace because I was told by both workers it is in fact a GOLD PLATED necklace and IT IS NOT!! After coming home I looked at it closer and the color seemed off to me, so I googled how to test a necklace if it is gold plated or your generic cheap brass necklace. Turns out if you hold a magnet over a cheap fake necklace it will jump up and stick to the magnet, and it is in fact CHEAP brass. I even held the magnet over a gold plated necklace I already own to make sure and it didn't budge an inch. So I know for sure the boutique is trying to sell you over priced cheap shitty jewlery. I feel so ripped off for spending a lot of money on a worthless piece of jewelry. I would appreciate a full refund and will return to the store with my complaints, but I just wanted future customers to not buy their jewelry it is CHEAP CRAP!! read more

I LOVE this boutique! I always find what I am looking for and I find the cutest outfits for a night out and even for work. It's helpful that they have color coordinated racks as well and the location itself is very chic. I am always greeted with a smile and the employees are always very nice. I was pleasantly surprised by Katwalk! It being a little Manhattan boutique, I thought it have super-rad, adorable clothes, but would be super overpriced and out of my "sensible" price range. But I was wrong! Everything that I thought was so cute, I looked at the price tag and nearly shouted to my sister, "OMG it is only $XXXX!" It's not super duper cheap but it is less than I expected to see. Pop in here if you want a cute little new dress or trendy tank. They carry only Seychelles shoes, which you may be able to find a month later for less at DSW though. Lots of cute and super of-the-moment accessories. The staff was very friendly and nice too, not snobby or stuck up, really helpful. I liked it! read more

Update: after posting my review someone from the store reached out to me about it. The impression of their message was that they personally were very much offended by my review and a unspoken desire for me to re think it Bc it's a 'small family run business' (exact words) Isn't Yelp based on opinions and experiences regardless of whom owns them? I responded stating just that: Yelp is a place for consumers to share their opinions. I apologized that she felt my review was hurtful. My intention certainly wasn't that as I do not know this person personally in any capacity. I then received another message back stating that maybe the store has 'outgrown' me (again exact term used) Now I'm offended. I certainly know what the terms means and if this persons' true desire was to attempt to gain my business again (as claimed) I don't think they they would suggest such a thing. Nothing has 'outgrown me' as I am only 32 and still within the appropriate age group to wear clothes sold there. The prices have outgrown my tastes for the quality that comes with them and that's being said when I make more money now than ever before. Regardless if they win best of the beach every year my review remains to be an accurate testament to MY experience and opinion of the current Katwalk Manhattan Beach store. This used to be my favorite store! I would rush there upon arriving in LA however the last three trips I have been so disappointed. I'm not sure if there is a new buyer but the quality is poor and so is selection. Prices seemed higher as well. I probably won't be rushing there again. read more

I looooooooove Katwalk! I have lived in the Southbay for 7yrs and I always go there for my "going out" outfits or fun date outfits. They always have the newest and cutest clothes. Whenever I have an outfit in my head I can always go there and find exactly what I'm looking for and at VERY affordable prices. I always go there to update my wardrobe! The owner did contact me and expressed her concerns and assured me that there were definite changes made with regard to the staff issues. So, I did go back to Katwalk in Manhattan Beach to give it another shot. Again, the clothes are super cute and afforable. However, I was not greeted when I walked in nor ever asked if I needed any help. This time the girls were not on their phone texting or gossiping among themselves, but were busy stocking or straightening displays. But I mean, c'mon, how much effort does it take to look up and say hello?!? I wasn't actually "helped" until I was already at the cash register to pay (I bought a top and earrings). Anyway, I gave Katwalk an extra star because: (1) the owner made the effort to reach out to me, very classy move; (2) she obviously implemented a stricter policy with her staff (maybe not strict enough?); and (3) my original reason - the clothes are very cute, stylish, and affordable. I will most likely visit Katwalk again, but I doubt if I would go out of my way to go there. Lastly, I want to say to the owner ("Kat"?) that I commend you for trying to do the honorable thing. It's obvious you care about your customers and the reputatin of your business. Also, I really don't/can't blame you,... it's so unfortunate that retail help these days are so indifferent when it comes to customer service ("it's just a paycheck"), which sadly, only reflects badly on the business. I am sure that if it were possible to clone yourself and have a half dozen of you running your store, Katwalk would totally rock. I do appauld you, and it bothers me a bit not to be able to give Katwalk more stars,... maybe I will be able to if I return to Katwalk and have a better experience. Thanks again. read more

Spent 8 mins in the store wallet in hand ready to spend......2 young ladies were available however I was never greeted or asked if I needed help nor was there any eye contact.True I'm slightly older then the usual customer....but my money is just a green.Saw a maxi dress and a ring that I liked but because of the lack of warmth went to to Fino and Free People and spent 200.00...Won't go back to Katwalk ;) read more
