Not sure what has happened over the last year or so, but their attention to detail has fallen apart. I have been taking my vehicles here for YEARS, but will never be returning. I got my oil changed this morning and they forgot to either tighten the drain plug or filter or put the washer on the drain plug or make sure the filter gasket was aligned. I noticed this when I got to my office and oil was pouring from underneath the car. It created a puddle after sitting for less than 1 minute. What makes this doubly frustrating is that I mentioned it to the guy checking me out that this had happened before and asked him to make sure everything was right and the drain plug washer was installed. He obviously blew me off. This exact thing happened to me here less than a year ago. Changing oil is most of what they do. How can they not be experts at this? This place is super convenient for me, but no longer worth it. Get your oil changed here at your own peril. read more

I understand when a vehicle fails inspection you have to pay but failing because of "Not Readies" and saying we have to drive and come back and still charging was completely unprofessional. My only experience was earlier this week when I went in for a state inspection. They left dirty foot prints on the car mat and fingerprints on the armrest. They also weren't wearing masks, although the sign on the door stated they were required. I would not take my car there again. read more

Recommended a neighbor go there to get his oil changed today(5-16-2020). He said the service was terrible, He said the technician was unprofessional and dirty. His car was dirty after the oil change. The technician filled the tires with more air without checking the pressure. When he spoke to the manager about it, the manager told him to go somewhere else that cares and left him in the room alone. They were not clear on pricing. He did not get $75 worth of service. He took the car to another mechanic and Katy Quick Lube overfilled his tires by 10psi. They were at 45 instead of 36. They also lost one of the screws that holds on the cover to the bottom of the car. BAD PLACE. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT PROFESSIONAL SERVICE FOR YOU CAR. read more

Place has gone downhill and the mechanics used to be cool here but they really just don't care anymore and it shows. I came to have an inspection done and the guy said I needed to have a paper copy of my insurance, and wouldn't accept my digital copy. Funny thing is my wife came in 2 weeks ago and had hers done with her digital copy. I guess if you have a pair of tits, you get special treatment. I initially came here because I wanted to support local business. I recieved terrible service! Stay away! They do not take electronic proof of insurance but supposedly will allow you to fax it to them. I went in for an oil change and inspection. However they failed to tell me their fax machine was out prior to service even though they admitted that they knew before service. I would have taken my business elsewhere if they woul have told me in advance. The fact that they did not disclose this information. Worst service in Katy because they don't care. I've been here quite a few times. It's very quick in and out in less than 30 minutes. Decent prices and so forth. However...my disappointment began today when I get there. So my tire light went on when I left work, needed air in the tire. My cars finicky with the tire pressure so I just thought, well I'm getting my oil changed anyway, they'll fill me up. Well, I get there, pull my car in, go inside to wait. And wait. And wait. They never ask me what service I wanted done, anything. Guy comes in, "okay you're done!" .... ..... ......wait what? I was going to get some extra services done. Never mind! Look at my receipt, air pressure-filled tires. Vacuumed car. Cleaned windshield. Etc. those nice little services you get done. All said "yes" we did it!! Get in my car and the floors not vacuumed. Okay, I can forgive that. Turn on my car my oil change light is flashing at me and the tire pressure light is on. The windshield wasn't washed. Nothing. It's not so much that I'm mad that they didn't do it...it's the principle. And lights on my dashboard annoy me. Needless to say, I'm looking for a new place to go. Editing to add: this same thing has happened to me and my husband collectively 4 times. I asked the gentleman to reset my check oil light, he said he wasn't sure how to. They noticed my oil was a little more low than what was normal, but he couldn't confirm if there was a leak, where it was, etc. read more

I had used this business for a long time for oil changes and state inspections. NEVER AGAIN!!! Took my truck to them for an oil change. Now I have an oil leak from the oil pan drain plug. Wife went in for an oil change. After 45 minutes they confessed they had broken a part of the oil filter. I should have had it towed to the Toyota dealer then but they brought in a "mechanic" and supposedly they were able to fix it. A few days later found oil spots under her car. Took it back. They attributed the oil drips to oil trapped on the skid plate. They washed down the engine compartment. Several days later noticed more oil. Took it back. They inspected and stated there was no oil leak. Would not give me the owners name or their insurance carrier. Finally took it to my mechanic and he found a part further up in the engine they had damaged trying to do the initial repair. Cost us $500 to fix their screwup. Notice if you go here more than once there is always a new staff. The turnover should have been my sign. read more

Worst service ever. Car Inspector takes lunch break in the middle of inspecting my car. When I paid cashier and was leaving, I asked Inspector whether he thought from a customer service perspective, it would have been better to take his break between cars. Told me he doesn't get break, and was none of my business. Them told me to shut up and get the F$&@?$ out of here and never come the F&$@?@ back. To make matters worse, their printer didn't work and the emissions report was not furnished, I am guessing this is against the law. But they kept right on selling inspections! I called during the week to talk to the owner, Josh, and he told me to never come back as they don't want my business. Guess he leads by example! read more

The management and service of this place really seem to be in decline. A few months ago I had a poor experience with the staff and service here, but thought I'd try again because I had positive experiences here (years ago) and because I prefer to support local small businesses in Katy. Unfortunately, this time when my car was in the bay having the oil changed, one employee vacuuming the interior of the car decided to start the car (as the oil was being drained out of the car below), and he quickly turned it back off when the guy underneath yelled loudly at him. When my car was finished, they pulled it around to the front of the building for me, and before I could even pay, I could see a very steady drip of oil pooling on the ground below my car. The pool got so large that one of the employees in the bay noticed it before I could even alert them, and they pulled it back into the bay. The manager (?) told me that the oil filter had been over-tightened which made the seal pop and caused the leak. No apologies for the mistakes, or additional time I spent waiting. There's too many oil change places in the greater Katy area for this type of service and management. Unfortunately, from now on, my family's vehicles will be going to another shop. read more
