Great service! Recently, I took my car in for a clutch replacement at Autocheck (Kingsland location) and was notified that my car was transferred to the Mason Rd. location one day later. These guys were great in keeping me informed and I got the car back, all fixed up, a week later. Upon receipt of my car, I took a look at my dash cam to see if anything odd happened... I am pleased to report that the technicians at both locations drive with care and I saw no crazy shenanigans. Have been working with these guys for 20+ years. Recently took in the Audi for service. A tire light was on and the brakes were rubbing. Bruce and team were able to get the light issue fixed, somehow. Brake work was not necessary, as they had plenty of life left. They didn't charge, as they've done before and I wish they'd stop doing that. As a business owner, I know these services aren't free. Absolutely hate to leave a bad review because me, my mother, and my father have been using this place since I was in middle school, as it's located less than a mile from where my dad works. Took my car in for an odd sound, and none of them could hear it, said "bring it back when it gets worse". I bring it back when it got worse, they said the same thing, I even gave them a ride to show them the sound and they acknowledged it. Told me they can't find anything. I bring it back a THIRD time when it's even worse, and even told them to look at the rear diff because that's where I suspected the sound to be coming from, to which they said "it can't be that". I leave it for 4 days, and when I get it back because they couldn't find anything, it's in the same spot and the battery barely had enough charge to start the car. Started calling other shops in the area and took it to a different one, who had me diagnosed and fixed in 2 days. it was the rear differential! Very unfortunate because my mother even had the old owners personal number because of how often we used to use them. Not sure if they just weren't familiar with how positrac rear differentials work, or if they were hoping it would get worse so I'd spend more money. read more

They're straight forward with their work, they don't try to screw you when it comes to price, and they're open until 4pm(!) on Saturdays. I can't really give a better recommendation for an auto shop than that. I deducted one star because they don't start doing state inspections until 30 minutes after they open, and they stop doing inspections 30 minutes before they close. Makes it a little hard to get an inspection on the week days if you have a long commute. read more
