I stopped in for an Oil change the other day in my F250. While inside at the desk, I asked if they could balance and rotate the tires too. They indicated they had time and off to work they went and I went to their very nice waiting room. The young man that waited on me, was super friendly and very helpful. At one point I walked out of waiting room and there was a lady there and she asked if I needed any help and had been waited on. After I told her my truck was already in the back, she asked if I needed anything or If something was wrong. Very tentative and customer service oriented there. They got done with my truck. I paid and while at the register, I asked if my locks had been put back in glove compartment. They said they would check and before they could a young man came from back and said I forgot these and handed to me. I noticed a wet spot under my truck and mentioned it to the young man checking me out and he came outside and crawled under my truck looked and confirmed it was water and not from my truck. While there I asked how the balance on the tires went he went and check with the crew and said it went well. He was such a big help and friendly from the moment I walked into the business. My first experience here is outstanding, i will be returning for my next oil change. One last item, the waiting room is the best. Comfortable chairs and a coffee bar. Outstanding. All they need is recliner and you could have a nap while you waited. lol read more

I purchased 4 new tires for my Silverado. The team did a great job installing, balancing and aligning the wheels. There was one issue though. While the tires were being replaced, the replacement air valve stems with the TPMS was overlooked. I returned the to Fulshear Tire to ask about the stems/TPMS. The service manage recognized the issue and took my truck right in to remount the tires with the replacement stems. I live next-door and have to go out of my way to avoid their service. Consistently trying to sell you on items/service that is not requested nor needed. Especially doesn't help when their prices for labor is higher than average. read more

Mounted and balanced 2 tires on my tesla here and when i got my car dashboard alert shows low pressure at 34 psi and recommended pressure shows 42 psi on screen. Also after i arrive home i found out they removed the cap and did not install them back on both tires. read more

I love this place! We moved to Fulshear 5 years ago and quickly Maxie Fulshear Tire and Auto our place for car support. We've had brake jobs, oil cap repairs, state inspections and tire changes made here in five different family cars and in every case we experienced fair prices, friendly service and good workmanship. Normally that's all I ask from automotive service shops. Yet, I also really like the customer lounge and infinite supply of coffee. You can work or relax in the lounge and not feel like your in an airport terminal or train station like most of the big auto service spots. Great job FT&A! read more

I ordered two tires online on a Saturday and scheduled a 9:00 AM appointment for the following Tuesday. When I arrived, they had no record of my order. After checking, they found the transaction "in their email" but said the tires weren't available and might be ready later that day. The counter person suggested I should have checked if the tires were in stock, even though I'd scheduled an appointment and confirmed everything online. They claimed it "wasn't their website," but since I went to their website and the order link was on their site, I felt they should take responsibility. No one apologized, and it was frustrating to miss work for an unrealized appointment. I paid $100 more than the price offered by other suppliers for the convenience of a closer location, but after this experience, I've learned that mostly good reviews and a nice exterior don't mean good service. I'll be going elsewhere for those tires, and I'll share this cautionary tale at every opportunity. read more

Fulshear Tire & Automotive has lost my business. Took my truck in for new tires, alignments, tire sensors and oil change on 5/31/25. The next day, I noticed my remote start no longer working. Took it back on 6/6 (earliest I could get it back) and explained to them the issue. Service manager immediately indicated nothing they did would have touched the remote start, but he took a quick look and then came back and said everything looks fine visually and this must be a coincidence. He also offered to take it in the back and dig deeper, but my trust was lost by then. I've bought multiple sets of tires for my vehicles from this place in the past along with alignments, oil changes, etc with no issues, but don't believe for a second this was a coincidence. They must have done something outside of the normal procedure. There's other tire shops/mechanics who will benefit from this in the future. read more

I waited a couple weeks before posting this review but enough is enough. I brought my 2022 ram 3500 DRW in to have tires flipped not only did tech scratch my Alcoas all the way around on both front rims with machine but also manually folded in my electric mirrors I can understand the mirrors as they talked with tech and apologized after but when I got home and noticed my wheels I took pictures (have pictures before and after) called the next morning and was insured they were apologys and asked me to email pictures in not to hear another word... I have since called multiple times and told manager was busy and would call me back which has yet to happen... today is 11/6/25 the day this happened was 10/24/25 2 weeks and can't even get a call back wasn't wanting them to replace my wheels but something to help with the cost of getting wheels cut and polished to try to remove the gouges would have been nice... but nothing. read more

Brought my daughter's Jeep 2020 in for service. Gave them a blank check as always since you used to be able to trust them. They did before service all my 4 family vehicles for years. This time they return my vehicle with a half fas repair causing a warning light to come on that was never there when it went in, endangering my daughter. She is already battling Stage 4 Cancer and now being hurt by crooked business? How is this fair? So I took it back and they were mad that they had to fix the issue admitting it was their fault. read more

I went there for a flat tire ... they told me I had no spare tire ,which was a lie, and then charged me $300 for a new tire.

Insane with the prices. Tried charging me almost $1100 for something I fixed for $80 and less than 30 minutes with the help of YouTube. Mind you I know they only get genuine OEM parts from the dealership but even then the part cost $425. So almost $700 in labor for a 30 minute fix?? That's just robbery. If you need work on your car pay for the diagnostic and if it isn't something with the engine you're better off looking up videos on YouTube and doing it yourself. You'll save 90%. read more

I came here on a Saturday afternoon for a State Inspection. There was no wait, and the staff was extremely friendly. They also have free WiFi and a large customer lounge, stocked with snacks and drinks, magazines, and a TV I could control. I'm kinda glad the machine at Cinco Tire and Auto was down. I had purchased an alignment through this place with a 2nd alignment to be included if I brought the car back within 6 months or 6,000 miles. I went back to get it done again, but the Service Manager called me informing I was about 500 miles past the mileage. Bare in mind I had already dropped the car off and this wasn't announced before I left. I go back to pick the car up with no service done and find out that it was more so 380 miles past. Okay I can understand a strict policy but I had been going there since I moved to the area about 4 years ago and really 380 miles? Nonetheless with more auto shops popping up I will no longer be taking my car or my wife's car back to this place. My wife is pregnant and we both work from home in the midst of this pandemic. At the very least I should of been informed before I left so that we did not have to come back. read more

I got exemplary service and will continue to use this place as long as I live in Katy! I initially went in for new tires. Barry gave me several options and while I was deciding on a brand, some other customers came in. Barry seemed to know them all by name and had a nice rapport with them. I asked if they could also look at my struts. Another place had given me a quote for over $1800 to replace struts that "were just hanging there." This seemed strange to me, as I hadn't noticed a change in how my car drove, and my car only has 42K miles on it. I waited in the clean lounge and had some coffee while they worked on my car. Barry popped in a few times to give me updates and I was ready to go in a couple of hours. I'm really pleased with my new tires. Barry and crew also cleaned up the oil that was left all over by the place that did my oil change. As for the struts? They didn't need to be replaced or repaired in any way. They were perfectly fine, and I'm so grateful I got a second opinion before forking over $1800 for a whole lotta nothing. I love this place and highly recommend it. read more

We were stuck in Brookshire with our vehicle that simply would not start after we put gas in it. We had AAA (two tow trucks later because we could not get it into Neutral until the 2nd tow truck arrived) tow it to Fulshear Tire and Auto because it came up first on the RepairPal.com/CarMax list for us. Since it took us several hours to get it there, the person on the line assured us they would stay there until we could get the car there. They closed at 6:00 p.m. but thankfully we got it there around 4:45 p.m. We were on our way to New Braunfels so my husband had to Uber home to get our other Vehicle. Nick took charge of our vehicle as we left for New Braunfels. He kept in touch with me for two days stating the situation, where CarMax adjuster had to come out and verify the repairs to be covered by my warranty. Once this was done, they QUICKLY moved on the repairs for us. I only had to pay my deductible but after researching the costs of new Starters, they were more affordable than most. They are honest and work VERY QUICKLY. Their facility is one of the nicest repair shops I have ever seen. They had snacks and drinks in the air conditioned waiting room. There was a TV and lots of magazines. And the bathrooms were very clean. Nick (and the entire team) were super nice and friendly. It is a bit of a drive for us but if we have the chance, would definitely choose them again for repairs. Their warranty is 36 months! You NEVER hear of this. Maybe 6-12 but that's it! All big pluses for me when going to get a new tire or an inspection sticker while I have to wait. Wanted a new oil change location for our family vehicles. After disappointing experiences at other locations and our local mechanic shop being closed on weekends, I located this recently built place which is closer to us than any of the others. I needed to get oil changed in all three vehicles. Between teenagers in school in one vehicle and running errands in the others, I was able to meet the Manager, Damian. I explained what I needed and he treated me like family from the get go. We were able to get all three finished quickly but at different times. I'm impressed with the comfort of the waiting area and the professional attention to detail with our experience. Complimentary coffee, water, and large clean restrooms are definitely an added bonus. Satisfied with the service and the welcoming customer waiting area! I live in Spring and we were traveling through the Katy area. I realized I had a few minutes to spare so decided to get a oil change. First, I called this location to confirm they were able to take me in. As soon as I called I was greeted within the first two rings! I was told to stop by and they would take care of us. Being a mother of a 11 month old, I completely dislike getting oil changes because by the time I get my car back my baby would have torn down the place! The customers lounge has its own room therefore you don't hear other customers or the work being done on the vehicles. Water and snacks! Free WiFi. Great place to wait with the baby! The service was so quick that my daughter didn't even make it off her chair! Thanks to the sale guy named Damian for the Goodyear ballon. She enjoyed it! Played with it on our long drive home. This location might be a bit far for me but if I'm ever in the area I will get my oil change here! We may even drive out here just for the oil change! The low tire light appeared on my dashboard. Couldn't really tell by looking if there was a problem with any of my tires. I'm new to the area and had no idea where I should go. Decided to go with a highly recommended company not too far from my home. I was not disappointed. I called and was told an appointment wasn't necessary. They'd be happy to check my tires whenever I came by. I was greeted warmly, assured that my car would be see quickly, and shown to a very comfortable waiting area. It was a busy day for them, but they had checked all of my tires, made sure the pressure was correct, and rotated them for a very reasonable price. I even got a AAA discount. Hats off to these guys!! Saturday late afternoon and the dreaded tire pressure light confirms the tire I'd scraped on a curb an hour earlier was soft. Found Fulshear online, half hour to closing, so we called from the highway hoping to get there in time. Tony answered and assured us he could help, no matter the closing time. He even texted the address to help us navigate. We pulled up to a spiffy new building, well maintained and organized. Once there, the crew quickly looked after us, saw the sidewall gash and confirmed we'd need a replacement. Unable to locate a new tire, Tony said they were putting on our spare, but admonished us, noting we really shouldn't be driving on it back to Austin. Instead, he handed us a printout with the location and number of the nearest national chain. Even wrote the part number for our tire. "They're open an hour later than us, you should call and they ought to have the tire!" The service guy walks in right then with our key, the car was pulled up outside waiting. Tony refused any payment! These guys are amazing!! Can't recommend them more highly! Oh, and the national guys did have the tire, so crisis averted. Got home later than expected but glad to know there are folks out there who really care! read more
