Only negative was the heat. Fans didn't come on until after the fire dancer. Maybe that was a safety thing for the performers, but the fans could have been on before the fire act (I think). Some of the older customers from cold states were having heat issues. Being from Florida, we were fine. Would we do this again, yeah I think so.

So maybe something to boost the midrange a bit in the balance of the sound system or whatever. I'm not a sound engineer. So if you're visiting Kauai and are looking for a lu'au, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kalamaku. I think you'll have a good time.

The bread pudding was a great surprise! Such a yummy snack to share it had local purple sweet potato chunks, mushroom and local kale in the bread pudding and the pesto on the side was super flavorful. Many original pieces of furniture and furnishing are still in their original places. It is a little hard to find but is behind the green church in Hanalei, so just walk from the road across the grass to the white fence. Also, it is only open a few days each week so plan ahead.

She has enjoyed all classes. The staff is very attentive & great with all the diversified youth, pre-teens & young adults. Tiffany utilizes the Art of Dance to facilitate mentorship, confidence building & other life skills to our Kauai youth.
