We had the best raft tour, it was truly one of the most fun experiences I've ever had. The NaPali coast is unbelievable and the caves that we were able to go in and out of were even more amazing. We also got to snorkel in an crazy reef with sea turtles and all sorts of fish. Pictures don't capture the beauty of the island. Captain Drake and Landon were so much fun and make the raft tour even better. They were both so knowledgeable and Captain Drakes playlist was the best. I will recommend this raft adventure to all of my family and friends!! No better way to see the NaPali coast! read more

Great experience! We booked the 2 hr katamaran whale watch tour. The boat was very clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. We had rough waters so a bunch of people got sick including yours truly, but they handled it well. The captain is very experienced and we met a lot of nice people. We did not spot any whales, but they are wild animals and don't have a schedule. Either way, it was a great way to see the beautiful coast. Definitely take Dramamine just in case. Otherwise, they have plenty of barf buckets. Other tips: 23 hour cancellation policy and bring cash to tip the crew. They work really hard to make the experience memorable! We also saved a little by booking over the phone vs. online. There is a service charge. read more

My husband and I went on the snorkel and sunset cruise 9/9/21. The views of the Na Pali coast were breathtaking. Sunset was perfect. We spotted dolphins!! Snorkeling spot was very cool. The crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and really went above and beyond to ensure every guest had a great time (shout out to Captain Kauai, Matthew, Jane, and the fourth crew member whose name we don't know how to spell, but you know who you are!). I highly recommend this tour company- experienced, friendly, knowledgable and local! It's a fun day, great snorkeling equipment and decent lunch - plus free Mai Tais. Captain Tom was funny and engaging, every time we saw a baby dolphin (lots!) he'd have us say a big "Aw..." Music rolls with the sail and the waterfalls are gorgeous- go early and bring a bar, breakfast is 100% gluten and sugary. Take the cat, the raft is brutal and you're sopping wet, you can get wet here too if you stand on the bow which was a hoot! read more

This was probably the best tour we took. We picked the rafting tour from 715am-1pm. Actually got back at 1:20pm, do be flexible with time. It was a long ride and very bumpy, so take Dramamine before hand! I have never had motion sickness, but did this trip. Also, pack a wind breaker or something water proof as you do get wet and then chilled. Still worth it!! We are a family of 6 and all of us agree (which never happens) that Jamie and Shawn are awesome and this is something we will never forget. We saw dolphins, sea turtles, reefs and a wide variety of fish, natural caves and waterfalls, and heard amazing pieces of history. Lunch was provided and good. My son is very small for 8 years and was cold. Jamie gave him her jacket so he could be comfortable. I definitely recommend this! read more

We booked an evening whale watching tour, and it was a bust - only saw a couple of whale tales the whole time and then it rained on us. The food and free drinks on the boat are nothing to brag about - certainly not what I expected for an evening sunset cruise. But the people who work there are all really nice. This is not a luxury tour like you get on Captain Andy's, where they have filet mignon and the like, so keep that in mind when choosing and deciding how to spend your budget. read more

My husband and I did the zodiac boat tour up the Nā Pali coast where Captain JR and first mate CJ entertained us with jokes and Hawaiian knowledge. Captain JR warned us that it would be an "exciting (aka/code for bumpy) ride" and that depending on the level of thrill seeking desired, you should choose your seat accordingly: back=less bumpy but more wet, front= more bumpy and less wet or middle= a little bit of both.... We chose a seat in back and the ride was fairly bumpy but nothing that our "foot belt" and maybe one hand on another rope couldn't handle. Captain JR and CJ were full of Kauai knowledge, jokes and made the trip a very memorable one. Although sea swells didn't allow us to enter the caves today the beautiful scenery, along with countless spinner dolphin sightings, a couple turtles, a good amount of snorkeling time and just an overall fun and adventurous ride, made it worth every penny. I plan to go on another tour with Kauai Sea Tours the next time we visit Kauai! read more

Just to give you an idea of how much I loved this Na Pali Coast tour: I'm writing a Yelp review -- my first one. My cousin has been on 5-6 tours through different companies and said this was her favorite one because of the speed of the boat and the fabulous crew. I was visiting family on Kaua'i from O'ahu and booked a Na Pali Coast boat tour with my cousins and sisters. We originally booked the zodiac boat tour with a tour of the caves and beach landing but, unfortunately, it was canceled. The company messages us a few days before our scheduled day and said they had to change our tour because of an emergency with the captain, but they were able to squeeze us in on their express catamaran boat tour which was only an hour later than our originally scheduled tour. We rode along on the 'Imiloa which is an aluminum catamaran and definitely one of the fastest boats I've been on -- so fun!! Our captain was Amber and we had Alejandra and Makayla for our crew. The three of them were absolutely hilarious and were always down to talk and be of assistance. Also, Amber's playlist is the bomb (and they take requests). Amber majored in Hawaiian history so she was super knowledgeable about the Na Pali Coast and was able to tell us a lot about the legends and history revolving around it. Overall, such a wonderful tour. We were lucky and missed the wind that the forecast had called for so the ride out wasn't too bad and the water was super clear while snorkeling. I'd suggest this tour to anyone, but, be warned, you're on the Na Pali Coast so it can be a bumpy ride and you will get wet, but that just doubles the fun in my mind. And, oh my gosh, I almost forgot that we saw two different pods of spinner dolphins and one had a baby -- adorable!!! read more

This was a once in a lifetime excursion! This was on our 18th wedding anniversary. From check in to check out... all employees were amazing. JR was an outstanding captain with a wealth of knowledge of the history of the NaPali Coast. He maneuvered through the waves and navigated the caves flawlessly! Noa was so kind and funny from the time we lined up to go onto the raft to the time we made our way back to our cars! My husband, son, and I had a blast talking with Noa and singing songs on the way back. JR and Noa made our trip one we will never forget. Please come and take part of this epic experience. Could not say enough great things about this tour. So much fun, and Captain John and JR made you feel safe, comfortable, and ensured you were having one of the best times on your trip to Kauai. Be prepared for some amazing dad jokes, as well. :) The views are unmatched, and definitely a HUGE plus to opt for the speedboat over the other boats so you can go into the caves. With the speedboat comes some bouncing and need to hold on for dear life, so good chance you will feel sore the next day. Some things to note: -Waters are definitely rough at times. Take anti-nausea if you suspect this may affect you even in the slightest. -Keep anything that you will want to access during the ride on you and not in the dry bags. It will be tough to get what you need mid-ride. Would have been helpful to have sunscreen to reapply mid-ride. -The tour provides a lunch -- sandwiches, chips, beverages, and cookies-- however, it did sound like they would also accommodate certain diets. So don't hesitate to reach out to them. Last, don't be like me and forget to charge your camera. The view is unreal. And while photos don't do the view or the experience justice, it's something you'd definitely want to take home with you. All in all, an incredible experience. 10/10 would recommend. read more

We checked out earlier and came here at 6am and they said Nepali cost is canceled . Well, other captain said a day before he is not going there due to night surf . Had an amazing raft experience going to the Na Pali Coast and learning about the history of the land and getting to snorkel. I can't remember the names of the captain and crew member but the captain had crazy long brown hair and the crew member had just gotten esophagus surgery from a spearfishing accident. They were both amazing and I want to make sure they get there credit for making this excursion so great. When I come back to Kauai I plan to do it again. read more

Second time taking a Zodiac raft, but first time on the open ocean. Our crew, Schkad and Tyler were great and made sure everyone was safe and having a good time. One of our favorite parts for the "adventure" was when we were heading out to the Napali coast and were completely surrounded by a pod of spinner dolphins, playing in the waves. The water was so clear, we could see them tracking our raft. The water off the coast was a little more adventurous (rough) than I had imagined, which added to the fun and excitement, especially for the kids, and would definitely recommend the trip. read more

Did the Na Pali 5 hour raft trip today with Phil and Jamie. It was awesome. The ride was thrilling, every bit as advertised. We saw Dolphins. We saw beautiful caves. And the crew was very friendly and knowledgeable about the place. So they took time to explain. Best part was we had opportunity to swim- twice. Once on the way. And second near a reef for snorkeling. The cave entry was dramatic and nice. The four thousand foot tall cliffs had a mystique quality to it. Just beautiful. Great ride. STUNNING! Purely stunning views of Nā Pali Coast on a wonderful catamaran. Definitely one of the best things we've done on the islands. First, and foremost the crew was amazing...they were highly detailed as to what was going to happen. The boat is extremely rocky depending on the conditions of the ocean, so be prepared to bring with you some dramamine. You can also purchase some anti nausea gear prior to boarding the catamaran. As soon as you get on the catamaran there is food waiting for you. Fruit, and snacks then they feed you a deli "all you can eat" type lunch. For you drinkers, there's practically unlimited beer and mai tai drinks on the boat. We don't drink, so we took advantage of their bountiful supply of diet soda. LOL! So good.... Let's see, dolphins, whales, fish, snorkeling, beautiful scenery....all makes for the perfect romantic or family adventure. Coupled with the Captain's great choice of music, and you're ready for a party! ... However, there's one thing to be careful for...if you get sea sick be prepared...there were a couple of people who experienced projectile vomiting. Thank God they missed me...LOL! Super close call... Overall, EXCELLENT in all of God's glory! read more

My husband and I went on the raft tour with Sky and Tyler yesterday. It was awesome. We really enjoyed being so close to the coast line and we had awesome views the entire time. They were great tour guides and kept conversations going and sharing information. I will say that it is a workout. My hubby and I exercise every day and we are both sore today. You are holding on the a rope for hours. There were several older couples that I think had a harder time. I would only suggest this tour if you feel comfortable in the water, getting in and out of rafts, and have the ability to hold on for extended periods of time! Thanks for a great trip! read more

We had a great half day with Kauai Sea Tours. Greg was our captain and he had a fantastic attitude - he seemed genuinely interested in a great customer service experience and being our tour guide (shared info about what we were seeing, but let us enjoy some music too). He had a nice crew, as well, that kept bringing by drinks and were friendly. We were lucky to spot a ton of wildlife: humpback whales, spinner dolphin pods, bottlenose dolphins, a mantaray, flying fish and brown boobies. Can't decide whether the helicopter or boat ride was more cool. I skipped the snorkeling because it was too early (8a) for me to get in the water... We had more time to enjoy the Napali coast on the boat than when we flew by. Both experiences were worthwhile and different. read more

This tour was the absolute highlight of our trip. The crew of the Lucky Lady ( Greg, Matt, Kez, Snowman, and Evan) were amazing and made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. The Napali Coastline was magical alongside the amazing wildlife we saw. We saw fish, sea turtles, spinner dolphins, flying fish, and the rarest of all a baby whale shark who ever so curiously circled our boat long enough to snap pictures and say hello.
