10 out of 10!!! We booked the combined rafting + snorkeling tour with Na Pali Riders, and my family and I enjoyed every single moment! The booking and check-in process was quick and simple. As soon as you check in, you're provided with a huge dry bag for anything you need to bring along. Honestly, we barely used anything in ours! The entire team was incredibly attentive, making sure we always had water and snacks. They also took 500+ photos (not including videos) that were available for purchase, which meant we could relax, stay in the moment, and enjoy the experience without worrying about taking pictures ourselves. We explored every cave, the playlist was perfect, and the boat was fast and caught some really fun waves! If you're looking for adventure, Na Pali Riders is definitely the place for you! One thing I wasn't expecting was how educational the tour was. Our captain made several stops to share history and even some fun movie facts about the area. THE BEST EXPERIENCE IN KAUAI! This should be on your list when you visit the garden isle. Napali Coast is gorgeous and experiencing it via raft just makes it extra special. Captain Brandon was able to take us into the sea caves and we did some snorkeling after too. This is not a catamaran but a raft -- so expect some rough rides along the waves and an adventure of a lifetime. We did the morning tour 6:30AM and check in was at 5:45am. We drove about a mile to the small harbor after, you do have to pay $20 for the parking though. They sell almost everything else you need in the Napali riders office such as dramamine if you get sea sick, or a waterproof case for your phone. The essentials such as a dry bag, life vests and snorkel gear are provided for you. They also had cold drinks and snacks for the trip! I highly recommend booking Na Pali Riders for your Napali coast tour. Very much worth it! Thank you Capt and team for such a great trip! read more

Such a fun and unique experience! My husband and I went on this tour. I think there were a total of 21 people on the boat. Breathtaking views of the NaPali coast. We saw lots of dolphins. Captain Mikayla was so much fun and I loved her playlist. Tom was also great. Be ready for a fun adventure- high speed and a bumpy ride but it's so much fun! My sister and I did this tour yesterday and it was such a unique experience! We really wanted to experience the caves and luckily the weather permitted us to go into several really unique ones (it is disclosed that sometimes the conditions may not allow the boat to go inside the caves). The tour itself was exciting, and our tour guide and Captain Brandon had really cool information to share about the coast. Fabulous ride, great captain and guide. We sat in the middle towards the font and the view when whale watching was the only downside (looking through people) but the view of the coast and caves was great and the ride was smoother but still an adventure. My husband and I have traveled a fair amount and done a number of excursions in beautiful locations, but this one was definitely the best we've done to date. The Na Pali coast is truly epic. Seeing the cliffs from the blue water, feeling the wind in your hair, the sun on your skin, the kiss of the ocean spray with the audio backdrop of an awesome playlist set this tour apart. Captain Croix shared a wealth of interesting facts and history of the coast along the way. We saw a pod of dozens spinner dolphins - one did a spinning jump about 8 ft in the air right in front of our boat! The caves were amazing, and Captain Croix had some cool ways to maximize their impact. First mate, Cassie, was also very knowledgable and took great photos all along the way. Despite all of the warnings about potential sea sickness, no one on our raft seemed to have any issues. If you can ride on a jet ski without getting sick, then I think you'll be fine on this trip. We enjoyed this even more than the helicopter tour we did a few days earlier. Highly, highly recommend. read more

Truly, where do I begin?! I think my life just peaked on this boat ride. Payton and Captain Makayla (who became ohana by the end) made up our crew on a beautifully sunny Thursday morning. Payton went through the safety specs of the life vests and what to do in an emergency at the Na Pali Riders meeting spot. We all had to re-park our cars at the small boat harbor and pay $20 for parking. Once we got to "Sea Biscuit" (the raft), we took off our shoes and chose our seats! We opted for the most adventurous seats right in front and boy oh boy, we got some airtime. Prepare to flex your arm muscles and hang on! This boat flies FAST! I swear my body was pumping all the feel good hormones as the music was blasting, the sun was shining, and we were all flying on the water. High on life. We saw many dolphins scattered throughout the tour. The Na Pali cliffs never disappoint with their majestic beauty. Makayla and Payton had endless stories to share about their own experiences on island and the history of the locations we stopped to stare at, from beaches, to caves, to waterfalls. They were incredibly kind and genuine people that made us all feel comfortable. Our crew noticed the usual snorkel spot was murky and, therefore, unswimmable. They ushered us out a bit father from the coast to a more clear location and we had a little "pool party" instead where we jumped off the boat with some pool noodles, snorkels and music. After the swim, they provided some cold fruit, juices, water and chips. If you're on the fence at all about this tour, you need to book this experience. Choose Na Pali Riders as they are a small family-owned business. This raft ride truly is now a core life memory for me. They even provide you with a dry bag for all your belongings and snap photos of you throughout the tour. You have the option to review and purchase the phot package back at the meeting spot. Good experience :) We left promptly on schedule & returned a little bit early while still having time to see a little more than usual due to calm waters, great weather and low tides. Remember that this is primarily a Na Pali Coast tour with a short snorkeling stop, and there are only light snacks - small baggies of apple & pineapple slices, chips, and drinks or water. But the driver/tour guide and photographer/tour guide were really knowledgeable about the geography of the Na Pali coastline, the Hawaiian natives, and pointed out waterfalls, previous native settlement sites and burial locations along the coast. We visited areas where famous movies and music videos were filmed and got to go into sea caves with this smaller, open Zodiac raft with about 28 people on board. You DO get bounced around a lot on the open ocean, you WILL get sprayed with sea water, and they play upbeat music, so if you are physically fit, don't have any physical restrictions and you prefer more of an adventure rather than a smooth luxury cruise then this is the tour for you! read more

We had an amazing time with Captian Mac and First Mate Cassie. Saftey first--Captain Mac has a ton of experience on this ocean and was careful to remind us to be safe. They stop often and share fun facts from history to geology, to Hawaiian culture to movie trivia. The whole ride was accompanied by an amazing playlist. The ride from the back of the boat was very comfortable for those of us older folks, while kids said the front was pretty adventurous. I was worried about being on a bumpy ride for four hours, but it was really wonderful. They time the stops perfectly so you never have the "are we there yet" feeling. The views are amazing. Weather was accomodating and we got all the way up the coast, saw dolphins and mountain goats, got to snorkle with a few fish in the bluest water imaginable. We could have spent the whole day with them. Go. Sing along with them, laugh at their jokes. Enjoy 4 hours with some of God's most awe inspiring creations.
