Care with compassion is a good way to sum up Kaukauna Veterinary Clinic. The staff is very flexible with appointments and testing. Medications are surprisingly affordable, as are routine checkups. Staff follows up after appointments to make sure the treatment plan is working properly. When it's time to say goodbye to your pup, the staff is very sensitive and ready to support you emotionally, should you need it. The best part about the clinic is the friendly environment. Expect it to take only two or three visits for the receptionists to remember your name, and don't be surprised when the veterinarians and staff ask about your family, kids, school, etc. Most importantly, the staff is genuinely excited to work with animals. You'd think after the thousands of pets they treat that the smiles would fade, but that is certainly not the case. I can tell the staff genuinely enjoys working with animals. When I put our second beagle down, each member of the staff gave me a big hug and told me how much they'll miss seeing the dogs and my family. You just don't see this type of compassion in businesses anymore. It's a breath of fresh air to know it still exists. Having had horrific experiences at 3 previous vets in the area, I was thrilled at the care and attention my dog received at Kaukauna Veterinary Clinic! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and I especially appreciated the precautions they took in regards to the Covid-19 pandemic when seeing patients. Dr. Biese was as thorough as I've ever seen from a vet and as a long time dog owner (and previously employed by a vet years ago), I was totally impressed how calm and comfortable my dog was being handled by someone he's never seen before! My dog doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but has always been mildly tentative of initial meetings with men, and he went right to Dr. Biese - even let him pick him up (57#) to put on the exam table, without as much as a flinch! That speaks volumes about the doctor's expertise with animals! Totally impressed! read more

I've never been to a vet before, but was faced with some major dental work for my Toy Poodle. From the moment I walked in the door, to the moment I took my little buddy back home after extraction surgery, I noticed the staff always expressed care and compassion for both patient and owner. Dr. Laritson and staff (McKenna) did an excellent job all around. I was never made to feel like less of a pet parent, nor ever felt taken advantage of. I was very impressed with Kaukauna Vet. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Pat took the extra time with me to explain procedures and provided me with the necessary information so i was comfortable making a decision regarding my pet. Clearly the best! We came to Dr Biese because of our Maltichon. She had cancer and we needed help. He did everything possible to help her get better and be comfortable. If you want compassionate and honest care for your fur baby look no further. I have been coming to Kaukauna Vet Clinic for 20 yrs and I would not trust my fur babies with anyone else. Dr. Rossebo is like family to us he knows are fur babies (5 cats and 5 dogs) and us like we are part of his family. He is gentle and care for them like they are his own.
