Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

It was served with wilted fresh spinach and some other grilled veggies lightly place on top with a light sauce underneath it all. Simply delicious! My husband ordered the Lasagna which was huge and full of meat and cheeses with just enough extra sauce to dip the complimentary fresh bread into it. My friend's husband had asked if it was possible to do the Chicken Parm NOT breaded and although the chef didn't recommend it, my friend loved it, and it too was a large portion. Our very lovely young lady server also informed us that our entrées came with a complimentary glass of red wine, which we assumed was a weekday special. I noticed a gentleman, who I believe was the manager, personally greeting guests at the door and shaking hands with customers he knew. He paid attention to every detail. Before my son had even put his empty water cup back on the table, he was already there refilling it. That level of attentiveness is rare and speaks volumes about how much they truly care about their guests. The taste was completely off -- just poorly made rolls with almost no filling. I visited this place about six months ago and the service was noticeably better. Now it feels like both the service and food quality have significantly declined. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.
