I stopped in here randomly to check it out. From the outside, it looks like it would be a pretty empty spot. All dark windows.. you'd never guess that on the inside is a pretty busy, hipster feel bar. No alcohol. The kava tender was very helpful with guiding us on what to try, taking into consideration that we'd had a drink prior. It was a fun spot! They have some games to play, a pool table. My first visit to a Kava bar and did not know what to expect. Parked in the pay lot across the street and dealt with a vagrant yelling at me. The inside was dark nautical vibe and was very very quiet, which I think was intended. The kava was clear liquid similar to tea but the taste was difficult to explain and the closest to mind would be boiled tree bark. It does appear to be the upcoming fad, with a brief tongue numbing effect. read more

I have been to several kava bars in SoFlo and I like Karma the best. We went pretty late in the evening so they didn't have any food options but I tried their strawberry banana kava and my friend tried Loloma kava. The regular Kava is a bitter but if you want to mask the taste, go for fruity options. The music here is louder than the other kava bars I have been to but it was a saturday night and I didn't mind. They have several board games including pool table and several comfortable seating areas to provide a very loungey atmosphere to relax. Kava bars are a great alternative to traditional bars and I am glad we have Karma in Flagler Village. The staff was nice and service was prompt. read more

I wish I could write a good review to this place. It seems like a good date spot, chill or dance place. Save your money on the drinks. I ordered my regular "half kava, half kratom" last night and it tasted like a bad soda that punched you in the face after you took a sip. I asked for sweetener but the artificial flavoring didn't make it better. The only good thing I recommend is their fries. My friend wanted a place to chill with a couch so we could talk. They had that. They're good for a couch, music and fries. Ken was great. He's very attentive. The quality of the drink speaks more about the kava bar than the server. read more

Stopped by after doing the artisan market. Tried a kava tea. Loved the vibe here. Its dark, chill and the staff is very helpful. They guide you through making your choice and the atmosphere screams relax. There is a couple of games and lots of cozy seating. Updating my review here. Karma Kava is a 5/5. By far my favorite kava bar in Fort Lauderdale. It's become my go to place to hang out for a low key afternoon or even late night activity. I always bring a board game to play with friends and recommend the Kratum with Agave and Lemon. The service is always great too. My only complaint is that sometimes it gets a bit loud, but that's on the other customers for yelling not the business. read more

They offer different varieties of beverages but each one comes with its own flavors and it's own vibes. They have a couple different French fry options if you're feeling a little peckish and they cook them in an air fryer to keep them on the healthy side. This place has such a feel good vibe. Very small and homey with a little office space. The inside is very relaxed and the staff are welcoming. HOWEVER, It is very much a regulars place and slightly awkward for first timers. But it is easy to fit in. I didn't get a chance to try the snacks but there are some on the menu like truffle fries and some sweets. The kava is good quality. The only negative things or things to improve: the seating is lacking bc people will come and put their things on the bar stools to "save" them for hours while they leave the establishment for a bit. Also, the menu is REALLY confusing without much information on how to order your cocktails. I do like that they have daily specials, happy hours, and small events there. Great kava spot in Fort Lauderdale! The place is larger than other kava spots that I've been to in the area which is great. My friend and I sat at the bar and as the night when on it got busier and I didn't even notice due to the amount of space. The employee behind the bar was helpful with giving us guidance on what we should order. The place all around has a very chill vibe and it's easy to sit there for hours and chat. They have bar seating, high top tables and couches. The location is great too but parking in that area isn't always the best. Overall just really enjoyed this place! read more

Didn't get his name but the server at the bar was so kind, the one with glasses and a man bun who worked December 28th around midnight to 2am when they closed. Very descriptive about drinks and suggestions so that we don't overdo it. Was hard to believe these drinks would make you feel drunk without the alcohol but when I say I felt MORE than mellowed out! My friend has been wanting to try this place for awhile since its down the street from his house, so he finally said ok lets go. As soon as wr walked in Mario was extremely nice and informative. Can definitely say his customer service is amazing. We started off with pain killet shot which was something very different and strong our tongues immediately got numb which mario did make us aware of this we followed it with kratom tea which was also really good.we started feelig pretty relaxed. Wow! Karma Kava is a Godsend. As a business owner and Entrepreneur I was looking for a place work and relax and covid has limited the options. I found many Kava bars seem to be loud with low vibe music that agitates the mind and attract often clientele that are not moving in a positive direction. Location: My partner told me that a new Kava bar opened close to us and I had to check it out. The vibe is AMAZING, great location. The decor is high class, comfortable with a lot of space and light. Music is chill and not overbearing making it great to work or meet other people. Both Jhon and John (owners) are super friendly and do something unique- PUT THE CUSTOMER FIRST! Been coming to this kava bar on and off for some time, and I've been going to kava bars for about 7 years. The atmosphere of this place is fantastic, and really is what you make it. Who really stands out as a bartender is James, not only does he make you feel like you're a regular, he treats you like one. Very homey, and great hospitality, makes a strong drink, and is generous beyond belief. A great bar all in all and the staff really sets it over the top, James just happens to stand out and make you feel like you're in a joint run with love, as opposed to just another customer. This might be our new favorite place to come relax and get some work done! It is pet friendly and they even leave out water bowls for the pups. The atmosphere is great. We enjoyed the options available on the menu. We tried the Kava, coffee, and funnel cake fries. The Kava was helpful to relax. The funnel fries were a good pairing with the coffee. I never write reviews but my friends told me I should just say something. I went there a few nights ago with two of my friends, the bartender or "kavatender" however you wanna call it was super rude to us. She acknowleged we were there but waited to so long to attend to us, she'd see we were waiting but keep talking to her friends. Everytime we tried to order she would look annoyed. I've only been twice and my first experience was exactly as it should've been, kava and an enjoyable lounging experience. The layout is beautiful, plenty of seats, and a bartender who understood the values of customer service. My second time was still enjoyable I had a seat by the far corner of the counter, from a customers perspective the farthest left seat and for most of my stay the bartender named Lexi showed me a noticeable amount of passive aggression whenever I needed anything, either it was a simple boba (bubble tea) or a kava shot she'd always do her best to ignore my first few attempts at getting her attention and whenever I'd get it I'd always get an annoyed glance showing her obvious discomfort in my presence. Otherwise, great experience and amazing quality of service definitely recommend coming here when the second bartender I mentioned isn't working. read more

This is the greatest hangout spot in Fort Lauderdale, hands down. The atmosphere is amazing, the space is huge but cozy with comfy seating (couches, armchairs, regular barstools, and even a swing chair) for everyone, and the products and people are phenomenal. I've become a regular here purely out of love for the space and people. There are games to play with friends or even strangers (chess, giant jenga, connect 4, video games, and mo), and events (trivia night, open mic); you'll never be bored. I'm kinda puzzled that a couple of negative reviews were left about staff because I've never had an experience even remotely like that here.
