When I arrived, there was only one other customer in the salon getting a pedicure. I was told to have a seat and wait for my nail technician. When she came out from the back and sat down, she immediately got to work. Unfortunately, she wasn't very friendly or welcoming and didn't even say hello, which I think is a pretty basic part of customer service. I told her what I wanted, and she got started. She was strictly business, no small talk, no effort to make me feel comfortable, just work, work, work. In fact, it was probably the fastest manicure I've ever had. What surprised me most was that there were none of the finishing touches I've come to expect from a manicure. There was no hand rinse at the end to remove the nail dust and debris, no hand massage. She did ask if I wanted lotion or cuticle oil, but it felt more like an obligation than a genuine offer. Since my hands were still covered with filing dust, I declined the lotion and oil because I would have preferred to wash my hands first. The gel manicure itself turned out fine, but the overall experience felt rushed and impersonal. I paid and left without feeling like much care had been put into the customer experience. It's been about a month now and my nails have not chipped, they're still going so that's a plus.

My previous Dazzle Dry manicure, done while on vacation, lasted 10 days without chipping because it was properly applied.
